Highlights from the Bucs' matchup with the Cardinals

Tampa Bay starting quarterback Jameis Winston suffered an injury to his throwing shoulder in Sunday's 38-33 loss to the Cardinals.

With his team trailing 24-0, Winston was hurt attempting a second-quarter throw as Cardinals pass rusher Chandler Jones dropped the signal-caller to the ground. Rookie linebacker Haason Reddickwas also in on the play.

Jenna Laine ESPN Staff Writer

Bucs head coach Dirk Koetter said X-rays were negative on Jameis Winston's shoulder and he will undergo an MRI when he's back in Tampa. He also said he thought Winston was coming out immediately after that hit by Chandler Jones but he wanted to continue until he couldn't. He doesn't believe Winston hurt it more by continuing to play.

Bucs Comeback Falls Short in Arizona

I know the line is early but not a good omen from vegas that they are just giving the Bills the standard 3 points for being at home.

Bills have to treat this like the season is on the line because that's exactly what the Bucs are going to do sitting at a very desperate 2-3 coming into this one.

3 point favorite seems about right. Can the Bills score 9?

This is a 30th ranked defense. I think we'll suddenly see what Shady and this team can do next week. If this team can't score 20+ points on Bucs, the whole offensive staff should quit coaching at any level in football.

Bucs head coach Dirk Koetter: "I can't tell you how disappointed and embarrassed I am at the way we played through the first two quarters and first two series of the third quarter. Unfortunately that starts with me. I obviously did a horrible job of getting these guys ready to play because that was the worst first half of football I've ever seen in my life."

Fitzmagic vrs Tyrod, the battle of the not good enough Buffalo Bills QBs. Tyrod goes against a bad Tampa D while Fitz has a powerful Buffalo D to go against. Advantage should be Tyrod with being home as well. I see the Bills getting 4 field goals and one TD. Bills D saves the game in closing seconds with a pick.

Bills 19 Tampa 17

They have absolutely zero pass rush. We shouldn't be anemic in our pass offense. Won't be great but shouldn't be non-existent.

They are stout against the rush so if we have zero life in the passing game, I don't think we win.

Adrian Peterson's 130 yards and two TDs say Heyyyyyyyyyy

Bucs QB Winston to have MRI today

Tampa Bay QB Jameis Winston left the Bucs game at Arizona Sunday after sustaining a throwing shoulder injury early in the contest. NBC’s Mike Florio was reporting that X-rays on his shoulder were negative after the game, but according to head coach Dirk Koetter, Winston will have an MRI today.

Everytime I think of old Bills/Bucks games I remember Robb Riddick diving out of the end zone when we were backed up. Man I liked Riddick.

Rob Riddick was the Man back in the early 80's! Off the bye and at home, Bills ought to win this one. Having said that, and knowing this team, and trusting the process, they will attempt to grab defeat from the hands of victory, but will somehow persevere!

I live in the tampa media area. The Buccaneers are a very talent filled team on both sides of the ball. Even with Fitzpatrick at QB he's throwing to Mike Evans, Desean Jackson, Cameron Brate, OJ Howard and Adam Humphries. They can put up points in chunks. Doug Martin is back and looked good he wasn't effective yesterday because the Game was out of hand too early.

The defense is banged up the Linebacker tandem of Lavonte David and Kwon Alexander is as good as any in the league but they have been injured and not playing for allot of games this year. Gerald Mccoy anchors the middle of the D Line. They have two corners that are very up and down one minute they look like superstars the next they are dunces.

That being said Lesean Mccoy should be able to run against them and Tyrod will have all day to run bootlegs to either side given they don't have a great pass rush. If our defense can continue to dominate and we pound the rock and eat clock we have a chance to win ugly in this one.

@SalSports

Bills HC Sean McDermott will meet the media at 10AM. We will carry it live on the show, both on WGR and MSG

@JoeBuscaglia

TE Charles Clay and LB Ramon Humber are both week-to-week. WR Jordan Matthews is day-to-day (an improvement).

Marcell Dareus has been excused from practice for personal reasons. #Bills

#Bills HC Sean McDermott: Cordy Glenn hasn't played in a number of weeks. Needs to get back in full. We'll take a look today.

#Bills HC Sean McDermott: Nick O'Leary finds a way to get open in some space. I believe Tyrod Taylor has trust in O'Leary.

@WGR550

McDermott - E.J. Gaines and Leonard Johnson will be limited today at practice, Shareece Wright will be a full participant #Bills

@JoeBuscaglia

#Bills HC Sean McDermott on right guard: That's an ongoing competition. Both Ducasse and Miller have done some good things.

#Bills HC Sean McDermott says again that it's a possibility that Ryan Groy could be thought of at RG. Again denoted he likes him as backup C

Leslie Frazier: "We still have confidence in Marcell (Dareus) for sure."

Leslie Frazier said Ramon Humber will get his starting job back when he's healthy, despite Matt Milano playing well.

@NickVeronica

#Bills DC Leslie Frazier says "all of us were really pleased" with Matt Milano's play in replacement of Ramon Humber.

And it was the TO home opener in week 2 of 09. Game after epic Pats Monday night meltdown. Beat Leftwhich. Owned scored on an end around and Whitner had a pick 6

Yep, I was at that one. 2nd hottest Bills game at home ever (until this year's). Happy I had JK club seats under the upper deck.

Koetter was also a moron for going for 2 pts in the 4th when the Bucs scored to get within 12. The regular PAT makes it a 2-score game, but because they went for 2 and missed they still needed two TDs.

Pure incompetence from a coaching standpoint.

maybe he had a death in the family.

its too easy to blast players

When that player has a notorious history of not giving a damn, then yes it's easy.

The reaction would be 180 degrees opposite if Tyrod Taylor was excused for personal reasons.
