Steve Billieve
signing an actual backup is expensive
billsherd
Like that he is accurate and can throw with good timing and anticipation.
EasternOHBillsFan
How did he get 45 touchdowns then? Head butting the ball? He certainly knew how to throw in Death Valley. CLASSIC response!!
Steve Billieve
he's way better than Tuel
GunnerBill
Whaley is absolute garbage, he wouldn't know a good QB if it hit him in the face. Peterman will be lucky to be even a ok backup and we also have bum cardale, good job moron. This isn't a Whaley pick. All 5 of our picks were at the Senior Bowl..... McDermott has chucked out the scouting staff's year of work. This is the coach's board.

BillsCelticsAngelsBama
And the reason i love this pick more than any in the draft is His name is NOT Chad Kelly.
LEBills
The new Jeff Tuel? The only undrafted rookie QB to ever start a game in the NFL! What a great year lolol
Punching Bag
Discuss We have drafted a QB - suicide watch is cancelled but please keep instruments ready.
slaphappy
His NFL comparison is Kirk Cousins which is not bad. Arm strength isn't the end all be all. Plenty of good QBs have gotten by with average arms. I will take a guy that knows where to go with the ball over a guy that can throw the length of the field every time. Juice_32
Gruden seemed to love him. He called him the most pro-ready QB he's seen since he started QB Camp.
#34fan
He. Can. Not. Throw. Now bill, that isn't exactly true to say about the kid... The worst you could say is that he doesn't appear to have a huge arm..., or a very big one, for that matter.... However, he does other things VERY well... Like I said earlier, I don't hate this pick.(that much.)

gr8billsfan
Backup? They will compete for #3. Yates is the backup. I think Yates might be the #2 throughout camp and preseason, but they need a young #2. Just a thought.
