Maybe a lot of Trump supporters see a Putin dictatorship, oppression of opposition figures and no free press as a utopian wonderland that will save them from the demographic nightmare they fear so much. Trump sure is acting that way. He loves or fears Putin, that is for sure. A corrupt brotherhood of global oligarchs working to overthrow the democratic nations and make the world safe corrupt dictators might be their goal. Why would anyone be surprised that they want to further curtail speech as it suits their ends?
