Make. This. Happen. I know it's entirely up to him, and he probably wants to win games at this point, but a good season here on a prove-me 1 year contract, could earn him another multi-year deal to retire on.

Seems like a good solution to a problem right now, from the Bill's standpoint.

No one was performing in that D in Cleveland. I believe he can still play.

Quinton Coples was released by the Rams: https://t.co/Xtsgl679gf

Coples makes a lot more sense because he knows the defense.

Due to the nature of Rex D there are always going to be guys available who can contribute in his front 7.

It's a team defensive approach and it's less about beating the man in front of you than it is tying up the man in front of you and allowing Rex to find a spot where there is going to be no man in front of you.

I wouldn't be shocked to see both Kruger and Coples come in if they can be gotten relatively cheaply. Alexander is still a question mark (though he's looked pretty good), Lawson hasn't provided much in the way of pass rush over his entire career and our depth situation at that position is ugly right now. Biermann was underwhelming and beyond that you're looking at an UDFA

Per Mary Kay Cabot, the Browns beat writer for cleveland.com. Not sure if he has anything left in the tank, he's only 30, but could be worth a tire kick to upgrade the OLB depth, right?
