Global warming err Climate change HOAX

Recommended Posts

I think you can’t opt out but have to covefe out of the agreement................

100% cutoff of all Paris Agreement commitments - immediately.

As for negotiation, he's just saying the door is open to talk. But status quo was just undone, period.

in order to fulfill solemn duty to protect American interests, US will withdraw, but begin negotiations to reenter Paris or new accord with better terms. If can great, if not, fine...

“It fails to live up to our environmental ideals”

We are the world’s leader in environmental protection

This has no sanctions on the world’s greatest polluters

Exactly we are the cleanest...if the left wants to meet our terms and put them in the “accord”; then we’d be glad to join, like China and Russia clean up their air and we profit share instead of us giving our power and money away.

"Even if it was implemented, it would not affect the climate."

14 days of emissions from China alome wipes out ALL the reduction in the US at great cost to Americans

What Countries aren't is the Paris accord? Syria, Nicaragua, and now the USA. Good company there.

Any conversation about coal is hilarious. You don't need a single talking point on environmental issues. More expensive + less efficient = RIP.

You have to feel for the workers that lose their jobs though. It's just a $hitty situation.

Innovation always makes certain industries obsolete. Trump can promise all he wants, but Coal is gone for good.

Of course. Now one could argue it's simply the price of increased efficiencies, but shifting these energy jobs into a developing sector like wind power or geothermal (or really any passive renewable storage and distribution system, the current impediment) would ameliorate the burden. Sadly that's not going to happen.

So Trump thinks lowering our standards is progress. The oxymoron "Clean coal". Trumpcare is going to include breathing masks

You are an absolute idiot.

Any reason that you use China as example for US? The country that leads the world in pollution and whose coal use is skyrocketing and won't have to abide by any terms until 2020 and then will probably skirt them anyway?

Really, that's the image you're using?

Fossil fuel lobbyists and companies win again.

I'm sorry, you have the wrong POTUS. What in God's green earth makes you think he listens to lobbyists? He specifically mentioned the lobbyists for foreign interests that he was purposefully ignoring.

See, you can't have it both ways. You can't tell me Trump doesn't listen to anybody, and then tell me he listens to lobbyists.

Get your story straight. This is like Bush is a complete idiot, and, a devious liar, at the same time :wallbash: all over again.

And, I love how Obama is allow to do 50+ idiot things by fiat("I have a phone and a pen"). Need I list them in order?

Then, Trump is supposed to undo all 50+ idiot things by following every process to the letter, which would take 20 years.

Oh, gee. And when he doesn't get it all done his WH is "dysfunctional", and that's the story for 2018/2020, right? All tied with a bow.

Sorry, Trump isn't stupid. He sees through this sham, and he's blowing right by it.

I've been layed off due to lack of work, I really do feel for the people. States are upping efforts to retrain. You can't pretend it's going to go back to what is was.

There will continue to be global investment in clean energy and we have some of the best in that industry. I personally hate that we refuse to lead, but the disenfranchised have spoken. Notice there isn't the "personal responsibility" lecture going on.

I'll handle this Tom............

IT'S NOT RATIFIED...............

PARIS WAS YESTERDAY

It’s official. President Trump is pulling the U.S. out of the Paris agreement. Here’s the story in the Washington Post. You can almost see tears being shed by reporters Philip Rucker and Chris Mooney.

The White House’s written statement to reporters says:

The Paris Accord is a BAD deal for Americans, and the President’s action today is keeping his campaign promise to put American workers first. The Accord was negotiated poorly by the Obama Administration and signed out of desperation.

BAD means really bad.

The EU’s Jean-Claude Juncker took a different, but nonetheless shrill line. He declared:

The vacuum that would be created [by the U.S. dropping out of the Paris agreement] has to be filled, and Europe has aspirations for a natural leadership in this whole process. . . .,” said Juncker. …

I’m meeting tonight and tomorrow the Chinese prime minister in Brussels and we need to talk about this with the Chinese. We have explained to [President] Trump in Taormina [sicily] it wouldn’t be good for the world and the U.S. if the U.S. took a step back from the world stage because vacuum will be replaced and the Chinese are pushing to take over the lead.

Juncker doesn’t explain why Europe can’t lead. But in the unlikely event that the Chinese truly want to lead in the area of saddling industry with requirements that likely will have, at best, only a tiny impact on the climate, I don’t see a problem. Indeed, China should lead. Its air is scarcely breathable in some regions; air quality in the U.S. is generally good.

Rick Manning of Americans for Limited Government commends President Trump’s decision here. His bottom line is that Paris was a job-killer:

Under Paris, the jobs we need to create cannot exist here. Under Paris, we cannot increase manufacturing here and we cannot get coal miners back to work. Under Paris, we cannot expand our power grid and rid ourselves of these self-inflicted regulatory wounds.

Paris was an obstacle to getting Americans back to work, and for that reason alone it had to go.

Steve views the Paris agreement as less consequential in itself. However, he argues that “if we don’t drive a stake through the heart of the Paris Accord, like the tax code after every partial reform, climate diplomacy will spring back to life with fresh rounds of corruption and coercion under a future president.”

Either way, I think President Trump made the right call.

That's actually a good point for those who actually claim Trump doesn't listen to anybody. Check out contributions to Scott Pruit's campaigns over the years.

You might want to re-read the transcript of Trump's speech. Focus on the "national sovereignty" part. Obama couldn't and didn't sign away our sovereignty, nor is he, or any other country allowed to override our laws and Constitution.

This agreement is non-binding by the simple fact that Congress never passed it, which makes it == 0, in terms of both our law, and our legal liability. Besides, who is going to enforce your dopey deadline?

Germany? :w00t: France? :w00t::w00t: Please, underpants.

No. We are done with this. Like I said above, mark this day: Global Warming as the political vehicle to enforce world socialism died today. It can still live as a science matter. But, it is done in politics.

Today is Trump winning, again. You can ignore me all you like. But, I remind you and everybody else, November is coming. 2018. Get ready for a real lesson in the Constitution, then, or possibly before, when the States call their Convention.

Is this 'convention' going to be as entertaining as the liberal fantasy that the Electoral College was going to revolt against Trump? Is Russia going to somehow 'hack' the convention, if the left doesn't get what it wants?

How about the fact that he granted ethics waivers to 17 former lobbyists who are now newly minted White House staffers, including Michael Catanzaro who as recently as January was registered as a lobbyist for Devon energy (oil and gas company) and Talen Energy (coal utility)?
