If only you applied that kind of discernment to the sources which lead you astray on Trump/Russia for three years... but you haven't yet.

Bob complains Fox is biased, but gets all his medical info from Leafy.com.

That's some real cognitive dissonance.

I have little interest in what Bob believes

but this type of reaction always should be pointed out

the actual research is by University of Chicago professors, but Bobby wouldn’t know that would he.

He, and many others here, have no interest in trying to get any information that might challenge their predetermined bias

Their posts should be judged accordingly

Once lost, credibility is very tough to regain.  Both FoxNews and you have lost credibility long ago.

Explosion in Antarctic sea ice levels may cause another ice age

By Chris Ciaccia | Fox News

Upside-down "rivers" of warm ocean water may be one of the causes of Antarctica's ice shelves breaking up, leading to a rise in sea levels. But a new study suggests an increase in sea ice may lead to a much more devastating change in the Earth's climate — another ice age.

Using computer simulations, the research suggests that an increase in sea ice could significantly alter the circulation of the ocean, ultimately leading to a reverse greenhouse effect as carbon dioxide levels in the ocean increase and levels in the air decrease.

“One key question in the field is still what caused the Earth to periodically cycle in and out of ice ages,” University of Chicago professor and the study's co-author, Malte Jansen, said in a statement. “We are pretty confident that the carbon balance between the atmosphere and ocean must have changed, but we don’t quite know how or why."

The interesting part of that story isn't that increased ice can cause global cooling.  It's that the temperature drop can precede the drop in CO2 levels.

That's a pretty big finding, that CO2 concentrations lag temperature.

Again, you'd think you'd apply the same standard to:

ABC

NBC

CBS

NYT

WaPo

All of whom promised the world for years that Trump committed actual treason with Russia to steal an election. We know that was a lie now. It's proven. Yet you're not dumping them... why?

Oh... right, because you still think that Trump worked with Russia there just wasn't enough evidence to prove it.

Because you've chosen to believe the words of PROVEN liars and manipulators because those same people convinced you Trump is the devil.

Good luck with the next 5 years. You'll be lucky to survive it with what's left of your brain in tact.

In fairness, Bob, your perspective can be summarized as “I trust my guys implicitly, but your guys, nope.”.  As Julius Cesar, Tony Soprano AND Big ***** found out, that can be a dangerous perspective to have.

Fox was simply the middleman oops middle person oops centre-facilitatorxyrs of factual information for your consideration.  Consider/reject as warranted, initiate peer review, table for  future dialogue....but to flat out reject because of the source seems silly. In other words, don’t hate the playa, hate the game.

For some, of course.  It’s interesting to me that posters like Bob visit this site to engage, but would reject a study simply  because Fox reported on it, but would likely cite it if popped up on HuffPo. I understand distrust, but I have to be honest, I’d have never found Shamwow, the My Pillow and my wife never would have gotten the 3 pack of the No Yank Tank for her birthday if I followed Bob’s logic.  Heck my wife wanted jewelry but when you consider a tank that doesn’t bunch up, it was a no brainer for her 30th.

"Anywhere from 4 to 7 inches of snowfall had buried parts of Iowa by Thursday afternoon"

So now Iowa can be "buried" in 4 inches of snow?

"A record snowfall of 1.2 inches was recorded at Chicago O'Hare International Airport on Wednesday, smashing the old record..."

Wow...a whole inch of snow in Chicago certain is SMASHING!   How are they surviving??

Not so bad when you think of all the corn and wheat they're buried in all summer long.
