Bills release 1st depth chart

Recommended Posts

Robey as the backup PR? Didn't think he was very fast?

He is shifty and has good instincts which can make up for a lack of straight line speed. Surprised by the news all the same.

I'd say that Gragg has his opportunity right now. If he can't show anything while Moeaki and Chandler dinged up I doubt he sticks (unless they cut Moeaki).

Is he just that bad of a blocker? He's got the size and speed you'd want in a pass catching tight end.

He can't get by Lee Smith on the depth chart so maybe the light hasn't come on (could be that they have him at #4 because he's behind Moeaki and Smith is a better blocker).

Really no surprises here to anyone following training camp so far. I am interested to see if Searcy and Bradham can keep their starting spots ahead of Williams and Brown and if the Bills end up keeping a FB at all. I'm also curious to see if the Bills end up keeping Hopkins as a kickoff specialist and if Richardson ends up making the team. I had my doubts about him after he got schooled at the senior bowl. Maybe he needs a year on the practice squad.

After looking at the defensive depth chart, I honestly feel that if this team had been able to keep Byrd and Kiko had not gotten injured, the Bills would've had one of the top 5 defenses in the NFL. As it sits now, I still think they're top 10 material with the right circumstances.

Evan Rodriguez ahead of TJ Graham at WR. Easley way down the charts (but it seems obvious that he's considered an asset on ST).

Anthony Dixon ahead of Brice Brown at RB.

Dangerously thin at LB :(

Remember he's been out since he had to go the hospital for dehydration. TE is a bit of a mess right now.

I like the potential for Gragg...but really, Chandler has to step and produce.

I think he can. I think hes capable of 45-50 catches and 7 TDs. I'll take that.

Naaman deep in the wood work on the depth chart.

5 RBs with 2 of them we traded for or signed on FA. A couple of them ain't gonna make it I suspect Will be interesting to see who.

My main man (after EJ) Thaddeus still hanging onto 2nd string.
