John from Riverside
Whether it be EJ or Kolb who starts the season.....what this O line does is going to be a HUGE effector on how this team does...... - I thought Cordy had a STRONG rookie season.....but I have also thought that about past left tackles we have had holding down that position in their first year....then in the 2nd year they struggled a bit. - Cordy Glenn had a guards body coming out of college.......he did not play OT until well into his senior year but was improving a geometric rate with every college game. So his ceiling is so very high. - That said....I felt that if Cordy is to realize his max potential he needed to continue to work on his body and footwork.....him being able to dominate is going to be a huge factor to this year. I think effector is my new favorite word. I agree, the progression of Glenn and the line in general will be a crucial element to our success. I don't know who our new offensive line coach is, but I hope he is up to the task.
San Jose Bills Fan
Cordy played very well out of the gates but he suffered a high ankle sprain in week 4 vs the Patriots. He didn't return until week 8 against the Texans and the injury affected his play the rest of the season. Also there were a lot of injuries on the O-line last year with a lot of juggling of positions around him. I expect Cordy to become an elite tackle. Cordy Glenn played 4 games at LT in 2009 and I believe started all 14 games at LT his senoir year and since when is 6'5" and 345 lbs a guards body? I honestly thought this was going to be about getting Glenn signed to an extension which made me chuckle Edited May 13, 2013 by Max997
Mr. WEO
Ok, let's get it all out....are there any other "untalked about" "effectors" on the team we need to mention?
NickelCity
I believe Cordy will become one of the top LTs in the league. Granted he has a limited body of work, but he was not playing like a rookie last year. I was very impressed, and expect him to continue getting better. BillsVet
Ok, let's get it all out....are there any other "untalked about" "effectors" on the team we need to mention? Cordy Glenn performed like an erector set at the beginning of the season. Then he fell down when the offense was deconstructed as opponents figured out their scheme. Someone needs to rebuild the erector set so that the offense isn't negatively effected (sic).
Rubes
I'm feeling fairly good about having a former offensive lineman as a head coach. Ok, let's get it all out....are there any other "untalked about" "effectors" on the team we need to mention? That made me LOL.

Rockinon
I think with Glenn on the left and Wood in the center, they could put just about anybody in at left guard and be all right. The right side of the line though? Going to be interesting to see the percentage of pass vs run plays this year. I really don't see more run than pass because of how the league has transitioned to more passing. Kind of a shame when we have so much talent at RB. My guess is that CJ and Fred will still get plenty of touches because they can catch the ball too. Glenn does well at just about everything. His biggest weakness will be blocking speed rushers around the edge. Edited May 13, 2013 by Rockinon
jumbalaya
This line has taken a huge step backwards by losing Levitre.
CSBill
Not sure why you say he had/has a guard's body? He seems to have the ideal height, wing span, and athleticism for the left tackle spot. Yes, he could improve in some areas, but he had a very good rookie season and there is no reason to believe he won't improve with a year of experience. brucethomas34
Cordy glen would be an even better Right tackle...Wish we still had Peters Whether it be EJ or Kolb who starts the season.....what this O line does is going to be a HUGE effector on how this team does...... Buffalo_Stampede
Urbik said all the bigger lineman are losing weight, I wonder what weight Glenn plays at. I always wanted to see him closer to 325lbs, rather than 345lbs.

RuntheDamnBall
I remain concerned about the loss of Levitre but I am heartened by having a former OL coach calling the shots. If he can't get that right we are more screwed than the most negative people here think. So, fingers crossed. I'll admit I am really ambivalent about this year. The draft seems super-promising and there are pieces like Glenn, Spiller, Stevie, Wood and this year's picks that may yet take them somewhere. It's so easy to be cynical by default, though. The team hasn't earned a better rating through their play. Here's hoping all of these guys and their supporting cast can take the next step under a rookie HC. NewEra
Quite possibly Buddy's best draft pick. I think he'll become an elite LT if he can stay healthy. For EJs sake, lets hope he does.
