4th round options (merged threads)

I'd love some Barkley if he's still there in the 4th....we havent had a legit QB in over a decade and there is no guarantee EJ doesn't become a bust (not saying i think he will be, just saying the draft in general is a crapshoot).

Barkley cant throw worth a crap in Buffalo winds....

We already did, just with WR not QB

The last time I looked one needed 3(or more) decent(or better) WRs to be able to be on the field at the same time.....but only one QB.

I think BPA is good, but I would weight a little bit more a QB that they were high on (which might just be BPA to them anyway)..........Quarterbacking is such a huge % of winning that until you have found that franchise guy, you have to take all kinds of shots at it.

Shamarko Thomas has a history with concussions and I think NFL teams take that very seriously when deciding whether or not to draft a player. I don't think he goes as high as some people think he's worth on this board.

Yes, it is time to be smart. There may be three QB's that are in the top 10 guys left. A 4th round QB that lights it up in one half of a pre-season game could fetch a 2nd round pick next year especially if it is Barkley. Stay true to the board. Kolb and two rookies would be fine with me. Then draft two offensive lineman and a college basketball power forward in the 7th round to play TE.

Absolutely, without a doubt BARRETT JONES. Second round projection at a position of need (Guard) with a 4th Round pick would be an absolute coup, even if it required a trade-up.

I have a feeling that they will be looking at CBs (Poyer, maybe Webb from William & Mary), but Jones would really make this draft, in my opinion.

No one is giving up a 2nd round pick for a 4th round pick a season based on preseason.

As mentioned earlier Jesse Williams DE/DT would represent the best value, as he had a late 1st round grade. I'd like to see Barrett Jones G/C, Jordan Poyer CB, or Brian Schwenke G/C in round 4. Joseph Fauria TE, Bacarri Rambo S, David Quessenberry OT, Duke Williams S, JJ. Wilcox S, JC Tretter G, and Dion Sims TE are some players I'd wouldn't mind seeing in the latter rounds.

I don't think I would bother. Kolb should serve well enough as a backup and stopgap starter, plus they've already burned a pick on Tarvaris Jackson. Not only that, but I wouldn't even want to open the door for the possibility of a QB controversy.

Nah, the best bet is to help the QBs we already have by adding a G/C and possibly a TE.

A Gronkowski type target would be good to compliment the WR's we have now, along with LB's.

I'd rather use our 7th round pick on a kicker. Ryan Lindell is over the hill.

YES 2 this! Dustin Hopkins! the last few kickers to come out have been great and hit over 50 with ease. ESPECIALLY in Buffalo, he need a strong leg. The fact we wasted a roster spot at start of year on a KICKOFF SPECIALIST is NUTS!!! If your kicker is average at BEST (Lindell WAS good but simply does not have the range anymore) and u can get a kid like Hopkins from FSU and have your kicker in place for next 10 years is a no brainer.

Marrone is gonna go all out to score points, and gonna need a guy that can kick the ball out of end zone and have teams start out with a touchback rather than a return and a kicker than can kick from over 50 if a drive stalls.

This would be a GREAT idea! and im sure Hopkins would love to come on board with EJ!
