Per Chris Brown, Hairston is back at practice today, but Levitre is not. He notes Levitre missed a Wednesday practice a couple of weeks ago to rest a sore knee and surmises this might be a similar move.

Donald Jones and Aaron Williams are back practicing as well, but neither is close to full participation.

The complex Jets defense may not be the team to start a semi-injured rookie at left tackle against. The Bills may be better off with Levitre there for one more week.

What's complex? They blitz like mothereffers and have a couple of great CBs they throw out on an island.

They're good at it, I admit, but it ain't rocket surgery.

Only Williams and Bell are sitting out today. Good news as it means Levitre, Jones, Hairston, and Aaron Williams should be available this weekend.

So if Hairston can play, does he go to LT and Levitre back to Guard?

Cage I am thinking yes.....

By the way....isnt it interesting how Hairston comes back from a high ankle sprain SOONER and he was hurt LATER.....then Bell.

I think Bell is not for long on this team.

In a game like this I really like Hairston there anyway.....he is a run blocking mauling beast.

Bell's injury is to his shoulder -- how (and why) would you compare the two?
