Agreed on all points. Plus I think it helped he finally had a veteran in the QB room as well. He stated DA showed him a bunch of things. This should be an amazing offseason, lots of picks, money and now our QB is already in the locker room.
It happens just about every year. The always increasing cap is a part of it as well.
I like your FA choices as well. I'd pass on Bell unless he overvalued his market (which probably isn't the case, see above comments). I'd be interested in Coleman from ATL.
In the last few weeks he doesn't look very interested in holding the ball to take the hit to deliver the ball. Just like Eli. his days are very numbered. He would retire soon if he's half as smart as Boston thinks he is.
Virgil, nice write up this week. The only thing I'd add is Zay Jones had once of his worst games. I can't remember a player that is so up one week and so down the next.
Alpha, This should be it's own sticky thread....
I'd like to add:
1) OJ finding the real killer(s)
2) Donald Trump becoming a humble human being
3) Kim Kardashian acquiring any real talent
4) Millennials putting their phones down for 5 minutes.
Those 3 are all slot receivers none of whom can go deep. I don't know X's & O's that well but someone has to play the X the other the Y. not sure how that works with these 3.
Mcbeane said he made a mistake with the qb situation. Mcbeane should have also stated that there will always be 3 QBs in the building at all times going forward.
This has been a laugh fest. Fortunately I've been streaming defenses playing the Bills for 3 weeks now. So I have that going for me
All 5 of them had their warts. Most billeved that each would take time. None were as ready as say Luck was. I'd say they're all making strides. Hopefully the time on the bench helps Allen when he gets back in there. This class will still go down as one of the best.
