I'm a wreck as well. I agree on most points. So nice work as usual.
I thought all the passing early was to set up the run game but they really never went to it.
It was ugly at times (except for the def) so I'll take the division road win.
On to the G-Men.
Good teams find a way to win on days they are not at their best.
Allen looked extremely poised in the 2nd half. Plus the 1st half had a bunch of funny bounces against us.
Correct. They are going to struggle to win 4 games.
Also, not a huge fan of Jackson so that would be strike 2 against the Ravens.
Although as bad as Fish are I wouldn't be surprised with a 27-6 loss. I just think Seattle is safer for week 1.
It's not a Jests week without a Spags post. I feel so much more smartest are reading that. Good luck with the Fish eye Gase.
Still not sure this is real....
I always felt McCoy was too expensive. If I were the Chargers I wouldn't offer more than the 10 per stated above. If I were Cowboys I'd pay Zeke (with a clause or 2 for his off field stuff.) Each situation and RB is different.
I wonder what Beane can get for Bodine. He has more game tape (though not as good). He'd be a serviceable backup on some team. With our flexibility he's not making this team either.
Payoff debt and houses for me brother & in-laws. That would leave about 9 million. We'd travel for 4-5 months straight out of the gate. Hpefully the calls would be over by then. Invest the balance with 30% real estate rentals and 70% stock market (80-20 stocks & Bonds). Earnings would be about $650k per year. I have a tiny family & so does the wife. There would also be a Ferrari in my 6 car garage.
Sit in the accountants' offices at a bunch of fortune 500 companies and buy options with the info.
Retire in a few weeks and then have a lifetime of fun.
