This years rookie camp seems much later than ones in the past. The wait has been almost as bad as the one leading up to the draft. I can not wait!

Christians by definition are tasked to be sympathetic, selfless and loving. No one is perfect and hypocrisy certainly exists. I wish Johnny well and my condolences to anyone who's been forced to deal with the ravages of drug abuse or overdose.

His game speed matches or exceeds his timed speed. It is crazy to see him chasing down WR's that easily. I really like the fact that he improved on his weaknesses as the season went on. I think we killed it on this pick.

I get it, but how can you have pocket presence without a pocket? It's sort of a necessity to be able to make that assessment. Look, I wanted Rosen just like most of us, but if you really watch the game tape of Allen you see a kid trying to win football games by himself. He is not flawless but many of his flaws were accentuated by the fact that the guy was a one man team. If Rosen had played for Wyoming he'd be dead.

It would not shock me if they went with Peterman. This staff genuinely seems to like him. One thing that will be very interesting to watch this year at camp...the velocity difference between noodle armed Nate and AJ compared to Allen.

What pocket? Watch the full game videos. The guy was running for his life, not by choice. Watch the senior bowl tape. With a pocket he did just fine.

Who wore it better?

In a weird way I think his "episode" may help him. Nowhere to go but up. He was a 2nd round pick for a reason. I have faith in Zay!

Stafford jumps out to me. I think he and Allen are similar in a lot of ways. Allen is better on the move probably. If JA ends up having a Stafford-like career I'd be happy.

Agree. I'm an ECU season ticket holder. The kid caught everything in college and did not look at all awkward like he appeared to his rookie year. If he can get that form back we will all forget about his rookie year (and hopefully his TMZ moment).

I think he has a leg up over Prohel. He is a very sure handed returner and should replace Tate.

I've watched his senior bowl highlights 10 times. You can almost sense his relief as the game goes on. It's like he's thinking, "wow, this is what it's like to have help"!

I felt the same way about the Boise game. I was yelling Rosen at the tv right before we picked Allen, but after watching some of his "bad" games I actually came away impressed with Allen. His supporting cast (specifically OL and WR) was just awful. The guy put them on his back every week and it definitely affected his stats.

No one can talk about our QB like that, except us! You're dead Adams.

I really wanted Rosen and I'll be rocking my Allen for the season opener.
