  1. If only Lockheed Martin could keep their secrets so well. C'mon, Chris Brown... seriously?
  2. Oh, right now probably the difference between 75,000, and 175,000 American deaths. The science deniers and anti-maskers tend to reside on the 'conservative' end of the spectrum.
  3. My gaseous expulsions are significantly more truth telling than anything that's come out of Donald Trump.
  4. There is no way in hell the world wants Xi Jinping and the Chinese to be THE major influence on the planet, so at least the US has that going for us, but we have become every bit as internally divided as Bin Laden could have dreamt in the past 19 years, and our President has daddy issues, which leads him to admire two of the biggest scumbag leaders since Stalin. I know, this sounds partisan, but it is as close to engaging a factual problem as I think opinion can get. If you don't see it then more power to ya Every corner of this country will be affected if a looming economic cliff isn't forcefully redirected. Everyone's home values will drop, heavily. The stock market may continue strong on the blissful hope that finally we have a way to automate much of our labor costs out, with an understandable reasoning, the Great Covid Pandemic. But to what end. Do we move toward a more Somalia-like state? Every man, woman and child for him or herself... pirates? Sounds kinda sexy, but when suburban and rural America encounter homeless on a daily basis, it might not feel quite so. It's past time to drop the ideologies, and give the majority of this country a fighting chance to survive, innovate, and maybe even rise. To make it clear, I think Trump is a blithering idiot, and I don't care if you support him, he's still an idiot. But I don't think he's 'evil', just misguided and insecure to the point of his, and our, detriment. I was, and am, in favor of his tariffs on Chinese goods for multiple reasons, so good on him. Call it a long screed, rant, posit, chat, dialogue or loony gaffe, but I hope this post was more intelligible than a story about aluminum-shielded, liberal, cherry-tomatoes being launched from Guyana ala B-Man. Sorry if I've insulted the bright challenged ones with my waste of time. Pass a damn stimulus bill and give our populace a fighting chance. Even the dumb ones.
  5. Just two weeks until 'Troy Vincent takes out a Rookie 1st Round QB Day' Get your piñatas ready
  6. #'s look off. Your average Chargers game attendee spends over $1,000/game on food and merchandise? Average Bills attendee over $600/ game on beer and ballcaps??
  7. I like to tenderize my better Russian meat for a good twelve minutes before broiling. A lemon squirt and shake in a cag of capers makes me think, "Yeah, I could do better".
  8. 238 replies, and 2 thumbs up. I think they call that charisma!
  9. Hey, special guest star... vlad himself! i lov amerikanitz
  10. I know some of you like your Vladmir Putin style , 'Keep mouth close, and enjoy having mouth' style 'democracy'. Or enjoy our suck-up in chief. But you all have lost your dog-gam rockers. Get out of the real-world's way.
  11. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2020/07/13/portland-protester-injured-federal/%3foutputType=amp how dare you claim to be an American, and think this is, 'just what need's to be done'. please stop your disconnect between decency, and what is seemingly economically expeditiosness. i can't put up with a young, idealogical person getting shot down in the name of curmudgeonly self-interest anymore.
  12. I'll get back to you, gardening thread::::::::
  13. He made some great things happen.
  14. Nice picture- a 68 year old prog-rocker scoping out the questionably legals...
  15. I get it can feel that way, but right now we're in about as American a conversation as this world can have right now. We'll be a better country as all is said and done. No way around it, I'm damn lucky to be an American, even in this seemingly disorienting time.
  16. It took me a long time to come around to 'Jimi' - I always thought he was great, but loved a lot of others along the way. Digging deeper into his catalogue, though, a lot of his stuff later became fresh sounds waaaay later. I have bands that I love who made their sound off of one of his passing fancies. Sorry, can't put May into that category. I am a big fan of his brother, tho.
  17. So are we agreeing? Gailey got his waterbug in the first round, btw. I really don't think the talent level mattered so much as Gailey hanging his hat on one level of original offense-making, without taking into much account that it would be quickly adopted and countered by the other teams.
  18. None. Chan Gailey's pop-gun offense lacked sustainable originality. He spent all off-season coming up with a surprise, and at times it worked fine, but he lacked the long-haul thinking to make an offense consistently problematic for the opposing defenses. Fitz tried too hard, but it's as much a reflection of his surrounding talent as it is his shortcomings. The guy can win anything with a good cast.
  19. I don't either. He was poking fun at some hypothetical system where the world was so drastically altered that only 'safe' people could own guns. It's a bunch of hooey from the literatsi. If anything he was poking at white fear.
