  1. Ukraine's effed Israel's about to get us into WWIII The Constitution's in quite the tatters Our own cities are under siege and he's assembling his 'finest' Cabinet members to discuss. My confidence in American leadership has never been higher
  2. Bryan Scott - he was my defensive 'Fred Jackson' during the 'Cash to the Cap' era. Safety that got plopped into a tweener LB role, he was just always in the right place at the right time. Loved that player.
  3. Saw this yesterday on Willie Nelson's, 'Outlaw Tour' Billy Strings and band were absolute monsters- this is an older show, so look up Cascades if you want to see the show I saw- this just has better video:
  4. Yes, gonna feel the rain on my skin. ) Saw NY for the first and so far only time 2 years ago on a solo tour- no lie, it was one of my top 3 concerts all time. He was mind-blowing good, not just 'excellent for an old guy' good.
  5. So formal- you can tu me heheh Still creating and solving life's problems - I haven't figured out anything better to do... yet! Looking forward to a mostlyish vacation June month - we're gonna bonk around Europe for a while then see Neil Young in Ireland at the end of it. ) BTW, he and The Who are playing the Hollywood Bowl in September, like 2 days apart- thinking about heading down there to get some El Coyote and catching a couple shows.
  6. We need a smile emoji 'round these parts- Tarnt nothin' wrong with just smiling from time to time. The thumbs-up, check-mark champion-ship and beer-mug all weren't quite right, but I had to pick one. ) sup
  7. This is the weeping song- a song in which to weep, while all the children sleep:
  8. Awww *****- now I'm re-enamored with this dude... a couple songs:
  9. Caught Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds a few nights ago- first-time concert-goer, long time fan. I'll start at the end, appropriately- he concluded the show with this as a solo, - For those of you familiar with his music, I'd like to tell you that all hell broke loose in the meantime... and it did. ) It was a ***** Fantastic show!!! It started metered for a few songs, but then just exploded during Jubilee Street and was unstoppable from there. It was a great set that probed into so many places I'd either never heard or never considered, but came out on the other side of a song... just... so... damned... impressed. Nick Cave is not nice music. Nothing is less than unsettling, but the ruthless is thoughtful, and the beautiful is nothing short of stunning. If you have a chance to see him, everything is meticulous. This is what I saw the other night- yes he flubbed a lyric, and the audio does zero justice to the show, but I'm so glad somebody recorded the song:
  10. I can't disagree, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Thank you- without the weirdos this world would just... suck.
  11. I have never in my lifetime experienced a collection of appointees as unqualified for their posts as we have right now under the Trump administration. Good luck
  12. This is a fun part though- How can you not feel the passion for journalism just oozing through his bones... per AI: Rupert Murdoch has not written any books or significant works of literature under his own name. While he has penned annual letters to stockholders, these are primarily business-related and do not represent creative writing. A New Yorker article mentioned an aborted autobiography. Beyond having zero passion for anything related to actual journalism, I'm not going to get into his personal stuff. He is a businessperson out to create personal wealth with no regard for anything else. I think it's called a sociopath.

  14. Nice cynicism. Some of us are just stronger minded than your average North Carolina Disney fan- cue Pope Francis, not his 'handlers'. Personal story related- there's absolutely no way my Mom didn't stave off death until 45 minutes into December 26th- so she didn't die on my sister's birthday. Go see a national park or something- sounds like you need it. Oh, wait, they're probably all bulldozed by now... What's with it with my fellow American citizens cheering on ugliness and cynicism in my own country?
  15. 77 seconds- all hell broke loose from there, we were just toying with teams after that. What a ***** blast!
  16. To be fair to the OP, the only accurate season prediction you could have made is that the Bills would NOT win the Super Bowl. )
  17. 16 wongs don't make a wight. So tell me what is your 'rooting interest' in all of this- it can't be 'pro-incompetence', can it?
  18. Ends what, Doc? Hegseth's a gonner. This ain't going away, no metter how much you dweam it to be.
  19. Would I know I picked the song, and under these circumstances? If I knew I'd picked the song it would probably be Baba O'Riley. It'd be about the best song for keeping my spirit alive- knowing I could only listen to 1 song for the rest of my life- which would be the death of me. But if I didn't know about the choice, or maybe even other music at all, I might go with something like San Tropez
  20. Why are you even pretending? Seriously, what do the F/A-18 pilots stand to gain by Pete Hegseth blabbing battle plans, as they launched, and over an unsecured and unapproved channel to his wife, brother and lawyer?
