I saw them last fall in Portland-enjoyed the show. They did China Cat/Rider, Here Comes the Sunshine, and The Wheel, which was fantastic! and all I could ask for. I was way too sober, though... girlfriend.... don't ask. It was the first time I'd seen any of the incarnations since Jerry died- so, out of curiosity because the Portland venue is the basketball arena with no real chance for a parking lot scene, is there still a parking lot scene around the shows?

Acquired taste or whatever it was, I'm glad I got it. )

Only a fool would say that... is one of their finest, and the cover is classic, but Do it Again, to me, is this weird painful trudge that is so not like the best of their catalogue.

It kinda does actually. Some of the reviews say bland, and when I think hot dog chili sauce, I think 'double ground' on the beef should be about the first thing the author emphasizes, but the ingredients look close enough to right. Ima hope this thread is where I find that elusive hot dog chili sauce recipe I've been looking for for decades now. )

What an engagingly stupid question

As a safety guy, Steve Freeman was my favorite on D. Joe Cribbs shouldn't count for this, but he was just too phenomenal in his day, and too many don't know who he is.

Nix is getting way too much bad credit. We looked more CFL than NFL before he got here. For whatever his faults, I'm sure the 'in house successor', aka 'share your GM job with this Whaley fellow' was Ralph's thinking.

I think Taxi has got to be my all time fave. I even throw it on on youtube from time to time.

Pearson made 88 'The' WR number, much like 12 is 'The' QB number. Not sure about greatest ever, but waaaaay up the list.

This all makes too much sense. I hope our current coaches have a similar philosophy. Ultimately I couldn't care less if our QB's throw a bunch of picks in TC/pre-season if they're testing the abilities of their offense along the way. I wonder how much 'keeping up appearances' has come into play in the past- seems like we've had more than our share of timid QB play for... forever.

Nice work- why other people don't understand this kind of stuff is laughable. Obviously the WR's are affected by QB play, and if the QB is leaving the D on the field the whole game, bad things are gonna happen. I mean, really, the QB play affects the kicking game as well. Kickers miss kicks if the QB walks away leaving the ball on the wrong hash mark or yard line! Duh, why is it so hard for people to figure out!!! I mean, think of it this way- if the water boy spills sports drink on a QB's hands, and his throwing hand is sticky, and he misses a throw- blame the water boy. It's the same as quarterbacking- the water boy is the quarterback of sideline hydration. It's a machine, and it needs to work as one, and who is in charge of this machine? The Quarterback! So, of course the QB is responsible for flailing CB's, missed tackles, fumbled snaps, blown blocks, sacks, touchbacks, blocked punts, underproductive bees, global warming, and burnt toast. Obviously.

Make my own pesto and alfredo... make my own red too, but really like using Pomi marimara as a base as well, if not more. 6 in 1 ground tomatoes are fantastic as well... and we're slowly going through some pesto from Cinque Terra.

Sorry if I came off harsh at ya- not my intent. I have no clue what his rankings are, but I'd put us around the Bengals, ahead of SD and Washington
