  1. I like Quarles and Hampton (blatant SC HOMERISM) Would take a flyer on Lyerla for sure.
  2. I'm all aboard the "take a flyer on Lyerla" train, but not in round 4. The second 5th? Sure. The 7th? Fantastic.
  3. I'm going with Crichton or Borland until they're off the board.
  4. Knee injury concerns at age 21 is disheartening. In the "deepest draft in years" you want to make sure your 2nd round pick is a LONG-TERM starter. That's really all it is for me.
  5. I said it in the shoutbox; this is on Hackett now. He has to design a scheme that maximizes the talents of the players he has at his disposable. It's also on EJ Manuel to execute, but it's mostly on Hackett. If there is one thing Chan Gailey did well, it was designing and offensive scheme that masked the deficiencies of the players on the field while also highlighting their strengths.
  6. Broadcast delay/commercial breaks. Remember 2012 when EVERYONE on twitter was tipping the picksand people threw a fit? Lacanfora was the only one tipping them last year after the NFLN and ESPN guys were told not to do it.
  7. Realistically though the fact that he caught so many balls close to the line of scrimmage should not be an indictment of him. It's an indictment of the Clemson offense and of Tajh Boyd. They had to run an offense that Boyd could handle and he is a...mediocre? QB. This just so happened to also play to the strength of Sammy Watkins who has electric yard after catch ability.
  8. Good news there is that the Bills will also be coming off of their Thursday night game with Miami, so they'll have 10 days between games themselves.
  9. I'm not going to complain about that. 7 home games in the first 12 ensures a very low risk of multiple blackouts, #1. #2, if they continue to play well at home as they did last year, that should provide them with a good boost going into that gauntlet of a final month.
  10. because the Patriots need 2 weeks off to rest up for their divisional round matchup
  11. I'll set the odds at 90% that it's more interesting than what you "fart out" next. Anyone want to take the under?
  12. Chad. Chad is always an a-hole.
  13. Absolutely 0% shocking if you have ever met him. World class douchebag
  14. The later draft is actually advantageous for the rookie camps. There is a rule which is something along the lines of "A senior player cannot attend if his school is still in session" or something along those lines. Andy Levitre and maybe Jairus Byrd and a few other players along the way haven't been able to attend the camp because of this. Now all should be able to attend.
  15. SportService is owned by Delaware North. I know that SS does concessions at the FNC. I haven't been to the Ralph in a couple of years now so I don't remember correctly, but I believe they are the vendor at RWS as well.
  16. Dependent on the new ownership. I could see it becoming something similar to what the Broncos did with the Mile High renovation. "________ Field at Ralph Wilson Stadium"
  17. Not sure if its a product of the O Tampa has been running, but Williams has seemed to be more of a vertical threat if anything else in the NFL. If that is his strength, then a 4 WR set would have Williams and Goodwin out wide working deep, with Stevie and Woods from the slot or bunch working underneath. Could be potent. If that is how they want to use Williams, Graham is done.
  18. The passport issue didn't stop the NFL from factoring Windsor's amenities into the equation of a Detroit Super Bowl.
  19. Any combination of: Jaguars, Buccaneers, Browns, Raiders
  20. It needs a lot...A LOT of structural concrete work done IIRC. Concrete, treated or not, is not well suited for the endless WNY freeze/thaw cycle. The Ralph in its current state isn't unsafe, but requires constant (yearly) Band-Aid jobs to the concrete to keep it from becoming unsafe.
