  1. Bigger Stevie. Wild catch....then drops an easy one.
  2. I'm in your camp. Manziel could throw it in the general vicinity of Mike Evans and trust him to come down with the ball. EJ Manuel showed BAD ball placement a lot of last season. Guess what would help him look better? A WR who catches things up, down, left, right, diagonal, etc. in the area around him. He might be a little raw but the positive is that he played basketball before football. You know what skills he's going to have to use most if he can't get separation via speed in the NFL? USING HIS BODY to box out and shield defenders away from the ball....basketball skills. Should come naturally to him. Also his 10 yard split on his 40 was comparable to most of the other WRs. That's what matters. So what if he doesn't have "long speed" because guess what? Goodwin and Graham(ugh..) do. He just needs to be dominant in the short and intermediate games.
  3. 95% sold. Want to see the gauntlet drill now
  4. With his size he's still a good pick at 4.5. He's going to be able to use his body to box out DBs to get open with proper coaching. Kind of like Marshall and Alsjon Jeffrey did all year in Chicago
  5. Explains why he grimaced when he saw the time on the board after he ran it.
  6. Fitz, Anderson and Lindell account for almost 11 million IIRC Edit: 11.375 for those three and another 500k for Brad Smith
  7. Sign me up at #9
  8. Big opportunity to make a statement here. They could rebound from the loss in a big way in a hostile environment and possibly not even drop farther than #2.
  9. Lyerla only had 1 week of training precombine. Most other guys complete a 6-8 week program. So take that into consideration
  10. "@MockingTheDraft: Evans said Vincent Jackson is a great comparison for him, but he models himself after Brandon Marshall." Swooooooon
  11. Agreed. The sky high number of underclassmen means you can still get a guy in maybe even the 4th round who is starting caliber. Early 2nd rounders who could have been selected 20-32 in other years and so on down the line
  12. I'm ready for Mike Evans in Bills blue. Just show me great hands in the gauntlet drill and a solid 40 time. I think he helped Manziel as much as Manziel helped him. Seems that Johnny Football could just throw it in the general vicinity of Evans and trust he'd catch it.
  13. Something something poor work ethic something something our D had lots of sacks last year something something fake injuries and speeding tickets. The next 20 replies, summed up.
  14. One thing the Ralph does need, inarguably, is A LOT of structural work. Concrete and freeze/thaw cycles do not a good relationship make. If I remember from the last discussion about the upgrades, they've had to do a lot of "band aid" work on the concrete supports especially in the last couple of years. I think that would be a huge part of any retrofit project like what was done at Soldier Field, Lambeau, even Gillette and Mile High Stadium, or at some of the older baseball stadiums too.
  15. Except they actually really ARE close to the cap this year because of all the dead money already from cutting Fitz, Anderson, Lindell, etc. They're under $20 million of space IIRC and have holes to fill and free agents to re-sign.
  16. I once watched Manti Teo against Alabama. He did OK as a rookie....
  17. Teams just don't go undefeated anymore and that's why I want Cuse to just get it out of the way. You rarely even see 1 loss teams anymore. Lose at Cameron next week and to Pitt in the ACC Semifinals or something like that, and I will STILL take it. Make them go I to the NCAAs hungry to avenge their recent losses.
  18. Its just not going to happen this season. Its poor cap management. Cutting him now saves them only 25,000 toward the cap, meaning they would still have to pay him 8.475 million. Before the 2015 season, that changes to like 3.2 million in savings/5.65 in dead money, which is slightly more palatable.
  19. There is a place for anyone who can play MLB on the Bills, especially if Schwartz leans on his 4-3 background. Kiko would be a potentially devastating weapon as a weakside/Will OLB.
  20. I guess I will be the guy to remind everyone that the best defensive player in the history of this franchise supposedly enjoyed the booger sugar as well. That didn't stop him from being a football player. Just sayin. A little coke isn't the certain death of a career. But it could be.
  21. Probably not. He's a 3-4 rush LB. Even though he played as a hand in the ground 4-3 DE at Mizzou, he's probably a little undersized to do it in the NFL at 6'1, 255ish
  22. What year is it?!?
  23. Grumble grumble Texans. I wouldn't exactly put everyone within earshot of him on a "credible witness" list either. He's a TTU super-fan. A fixture at their games. He may or may not have some blind support there.
  24. Does anyone mind if I order?
  25. Whereas the most persistent rumors are claiming the fan told Smart to "go back to Africa"
