  1. Situation #1: Pegula picks the easiest scapegoat possible after passing ownership vote.
  2. Did I watch a different game than OP?
  3. Swearinger will straight up murder someone Sunday if Manuel is inaccurate again. That kid is quickly becoming one of the nastiest safeties in the league
  4. 4th and 6 at the 47(?) and they took the holding during the return instead of the offsides which would have made it 4th and 1. 4 or 5 plays later, San Diego was at the 45. Good call guys.
  5. Run heavy doesn't mean you have to be boring, bland, predictable, unimaginative, pick an adjective. His play calling is on a Pop Warner level. Run run pass punt is the basic Hackett script. You could still be run heavy and keep teams off guard if you went pass run run or run pass run but NOPE. He's a big fan of the Steve Fairchild script apparently. Taking a page right out of the Mularkey era's book.
  6. First series of the game and out of the half is GUARANTEED to be a run/run/pass sequence. That's not on EJ. That is weak, unimaginative play calling.
  7. Game balls: Corey Graham The DL Aaron Williams Sweaty jocks: Hackett and Schwartz's game plans The entire LB and DBs who were not named above Erik Pears
  8. The front 4 played a pretty solid game and were collapsing the pocket around Rivers pretty frequently. Props to him and his ability that he didn't take more sacks or hits. The back 7 was atrocious. They looked very lost, very often.
  9. You're kidding right? The offense was ABYSMAL in the first half. The first half is based off of the game plan that is installed all week. That failure is a direct reflection on his ability to successfully script a recipe to beat the Chargers.
  10. I am also not related to him. I just you know...avoid people if I dislike their writing (Mike Harrington and Mike Rodak for example) instead of getting all twisted up over it.
  11. Yes that is correct, I am Matt Miller because I am able to not get all upset when someone criticizes players on the team that I cheer for.
  12. The anger you guys direct toward him is funny. And exactly what he's looking for. I follow him and enjoy it. He's just getting some laughs out of all you fools getting your panties in a wad
  13. They didn't "make" Kiko switch positions as much as they signed a player that made it possible. Even Pettine said last season that they WANTED Kiko at the Will but they just didn't have anyone better to play MLB
  14. Mckelvin is the best option if they're going to be running Wallace deep. He's the only one who can match the speed.
  15. The Leodis of old would have been beaten like a bass drum by Marshall/Jeffery INA Justin Rogers-like fashion, not just one perfectly thrown deep ball.
  16. IMO: he played a game you would expect from a 3rd round rookie. Showed that he has talent and good instincts (like on the fumble recovery) but also will have to improve to start (coverage)
  17. Y'all need to relax about the Henderson vs. Wake matchup. This is a good time to refer to the post I made in the Cameron Wake thread. He's really not been all that impressive vs. Buffalo in his career. His best performances came during his first year in the league, 2009. Back when the Bills has stalwarts like Demetrius Bell, Jamon Meredith, Jonathan Scott and Kirk Chambers at the tackle positions. 10 games, 33 tackles (26 solo) 6.5 sacks. 7 tackles, 2.5 sacks in 2009 5 tackles, 1 sack in 2010 8 tackles, 1 sack in 2011 8 tackles, 2 sacks in 2012 5 tackles, 0 sacks in 2013 Rough average: 3.5 tackles, 0.5 sacks per game. Hardly elite, especially for a guy who they face twice a year and should know the OL's weaknesses
  18. .Robey deserves no spot in this discussion. He is strictly a slot CB in the same way that Gilmore is strictly a boundary CB. Robey does not have the size or speed to succeed on the outside but his agility and quickness make him a weapon as the nickel or dime CB. Gilmore's size and better top end speed make him a better fit to cover the bigger guys who line up split out wide.
  19. Erik Pears? Seriously though Randy Starks and Koa Misi are both in walking boots and not practicing today. Their defense basically = Wake with those two out
  20. Wake had a monster game last week. But look at his career stats vs Buffalo and they're pretty underwhelming outside of his "rookie" year. 10 games, 33 tackles (26 solo,) 6.5 sacks.
  21. Willie Young is a very underrated rusher IMO. very tough matchup for his first "real" NFL game
  22. Good thing Pegula learned his lesson with the Sabres and will probably go scorched earth on the front office when he takes over control of the team
  23. The big problem with this entire article and thread is taking seriously anything that Jason Lacanfora says or writes. The guy is seriously terrible, as is the entire online CBS Sports NFL team
  24. Derrick Brooks is such a lofty comparison because he's literally one of the best players I have seen in my lifetime. To be safe, I have always compared Kiko's strengths/potential role to Lance Briggs for the Bears. All-Pro who is clearly a top tier player at what he does. I only say that because like I said, to me Brooks was just in a class all of his own.
  25. It just surprises me that an adult (making an assumption there) in 2014 finds it proper to use the term "faggotry." What's next? Is that guy going to tell us its still kosher to identity minorities "colored folks" or "darkies?"
