  1. he knew he had it when the RB stepped up. Freeneyesque!
  2. If Bellichik was our coach, what does he do at #10. That's what I want to do.
  3. This is not about being classy or PR. Its one more piece of gaining an understanding of what winning teams do. How they behave, how they prepare, how they lead, how they interact. I know the Superbowl teams weren't perfect in all of these areas, but they surely had some sucess. This guy is a student of the game. Didn't come here thinking he has all the answers.
  4. This is why we have Mulligan boys. Line him up on the right side and have Urbs and CK get out of the way.
  5. What happened to whichever Denver kicker got cut? Both of them had big legs, unless it was just the thin air.
  6. Just to be clear, was at the game with program in hand. TB had mostly 3rd string front 7 in the game to start second half. A few numbers i couldnt even find on the roster. There was no pressure and our receivers were coming wide open. Even then, EJ was late and high with throws. The honest truth is, he is stiff in his movement and either lacks confidence and/or is slow to process information.
  7. I think Easley has to be the last WR due to special teams. Graham would be the victim.
  8. Am I the only one who scanned the topic titles recently and saw that the Bills have been applying quality control standards on the Jills followed by Stevie saying "i'm confident in the squad so far". He really does a little bit of everything for us now doesn't he...
  9. That's all I got. Ilb, Whaley, winner. That's all I got. Ilb, Whaley, winner.
  10. Ilb with Pitt connection. why no chatter?
  11. I liked Schwartz slightly better than Harbaugh in the handshake/back slapping controversy. I am not sure what that means though...
  12. Interesting point on Gilmore turning his back. I noticed it a few times in this game. I have never played the game so I don't know for sure, but it seems to me like a good DB should never have to do that. I am interested in a comment from someone who has some expertise here.
  13. I am worried when I see Goodwin and Woods on kickoff coverage from an injury perspective, but when you are at the game and watch Goodwin run freely straight down field it is a freakish site. He gains 5 yards on his teammates by the 50 yard line. It honestly looks like he is about to leave the ground and take off in the air.
  14. Not sure if you could see it on TV, but the Bengals typically only sent 2 maybe 3 players out in pass patterns. That left 7-8 guys (11-2-QB) to block the blitzes that have been so effective for us in past games. The result was a ton of double teams. I guess Pettine should have made an adjustment, but he didn't seem to. By the way, Giovani Bernard is as fast as any RB I have seen. Kiko would react immediately to him leaking out into the flat, but could never quite get there in time. You could say he kept taking the wrong angle, but the right angle would have been to meet him 10 yards downfield. He just kept thinking he could get to the right spot at the line of scrimmage and couldn't.
  15. Still can't figure this one out. Almost 100% of people would like CJ's chances of juking a defender one on one in open space. In this scenario he would be carrying a football and the defender could use his hands all he wants. In a pass route, CJ would not be burdened with carrying a ball and the defender is significantly limited as to how much contact he can have. How would he not be open 90% of the time?
