  1. I'd like to mention the name "quindarius thagard" in conversations for years to come. Good luck, young man!
  2. And the cures and rehab centers will be run by the companies that started the epidemic. It's like Through a Scanner Darkly
  3. Absolutely. He had some bad picks, a few floaters. But anyone who watched the post injury Allen and isn't optimistic just doesn't know a quality qb with incredible upside when they see one.
  4. Sent a check to a buddy in Vegas. Very primitive. Ha Sent a check to a friend in Vegas.
  5. I get you. Just excited about this bet and the Bills. Apologies. I stopped betting on games many years ago after losing a bunch of money while I was at law school. A colleague of mine ruined his career gambling. It is probably the worst of all addictions because it goes straight to your bank account without passing go.
  6. I put down $500 and I rarely bet on the NFL. With the supposed soft schedule I feel like this is an easy bet. Who else is putting down some bucks?
  7. People who were ten or younger when 9/11 happened are well-groomed for a security state. Drunks and tables and fires, oh my!
  8. they will have to pay him 9 mil, right? that is what hughes is paid. There are some guys who make more than 9 mil on this list over whom I prefer Shaq. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/rankings/average/defensive-end/ some guys are much better. bills know him better than anyone. he is 24. if they think he has the health and character, then you do it. a breakout year and he will be well north of 9 mil.
  9. I like that we aren't drafting potential starters in the sixth round this year. We're better.
  10. This guy looks a bit thin in the legs, but also looks like he can beat most lbs down the seam. Like all bloody draft picks (except for Aaron Maybin) we have to wait and see how it goes. Maybin was obviously awful from the get go.
  11. Hey, a lot of jokes in here and all good, but this stuff is really important. I work for an mlb team as a scout (and only see the states for a week or two a year), but I can tell you that good facilities make a huge difference. When I sign a player, I can legitimately tout our spring training complex. Some are brutal. It makes a difference. Also, people make fun of "culture", but it is essential to an organization. Nobody wants to be part of a shitshow. Maybe it doesn't make a ten million dollar difference, but when it comes to a ten percent difference, it counts.
  12. Wilbert Montgomery was a stud until he blew his knee. Bunch of early eighties rbs blew out. William Andrews and Billy Sims come to mind.
  13. Yet I somehow look on those years fondly compared to the Rex years
  14. You're probably right and it says something that we haven't addressed the defensive line in free agency. We are probably going d-line in the draft. That being said, I think Metcalf is going to be a stud. I don't know enough about the depth of d-linemen in this draft to know whether or not we gamble on picking up someone functional in rounds 2-4.
  15. I think Eli is his ceiling. Never got the love for him. Too thin. On the Matt Barkley road by 2021.
  16. Aye. The Rex Ryan experiment was a brutal disaster that wasted two years of everyone's bills fandom
  17. Have lived in Taiwan for 13 years, watch all the games live, and, aye, get my breaking news at odd times. When we make it to the Superbowl, will definitely throw a bash at my restaurant here. Superbowl Party 8 a.m. on a Monday. Ha
  18. They'll draft someone and it will all be good. Gore knows more about the position than anybody walking around and probably has a year left in the tank.
  19. Those and I believe it was 1983 when Ferguson beat the dolphins in Miami. 38-35 or some such. I was nine. Couldn't believe my eyes.
