Yes, I don’t fault the DBs on that play. Hopkins had height advantage, arm length, etc. on that play and was just able to get up higher and pluck the ball out of the air. It did look like White had his arm in there with a possible chance at tugging the ball out but Hyde bumped into him, knocking him away but I can’t fault Hyde on that either. They were all going for the ball. It sucks, but it happens.

I see tiny Murray scooting around the field and I keep thinking of the general effective careers of running QBs and when in one of these games a LB or D-Lineman is going to blindside him. It could be ugly. I know he’s around a solid 210 for his listed height of 5-10 but someone 50+ lbs heavier could hurt him. I sometimes get concerned Josh tuns too much but he’s the size of a TE. Speaking of equipment, does a football helmet lose some effectiveness when the player slams it on the ground? You see so many times a player is pissed about something and slams his helmet on the ground or on something. Then puts his helmet back on and goes back on the field. Brady did it today, slamming his on the bench.

Every GM outside of Seattle should be fired for taking the Combine stats too seriously and passing on him. The Raiders passed on him 4 times. Did you see how he looked going up against the Niners CB? Speaking of Spain, while at the time of his signing with the Bengals it was said ‘to the practice squad‘ , he started at LG for the Bengals due to all of their O-Line injuries. Just wasn’t working for the Bills this season. Feliciano much better.
