  1. So, is he being released outright or is he subject to waivers? If not waivers, then isn’t he a free agent and a team doesn’t have to take on his existing contract?
  2. Not gonna happen. Invested big in Diggs. Other more pressing needs. Even if Milano was re-signed, I’d go for another LB in the draft. Need better depth with Milano injury history and maybe do a little rotating.
  3. How times have changed! Never seen so much potential QB movement.
  4. Yeah, I remember when they signed Poyer and Hyde to be the starting safeties. I had a WTF response. in retrospect, it was a sign these guys knew what they were doing.
  5. I think I’ll notice the impact of the season ending with no NFL games on for the first time in 20 weeks. Well, actually there was no game in the week after the Conf Championship games, but you know what I mean. I kept all the recordings of the Bills wins so I have them to rewatch.
  6. I think he’s the reason the Packers became my 2nd favorite team. Then came Favre and he was so much fun to watch. Then they drafted Rodgers, who’s from here in Northern California and went to Cal.
  7. There were many off seasons that all we had to look forward to was the draft.
  8. I believe Beane will again earn his salary this offseason. We don’t know what the salary cap number will be, but it doesn’t sound good. Some good players in the NFL may be shocked when they’re cut and there isn’t a lot of money available. A patient bargain hunter may be able to get some good players at a discount.
  9. So, some stupid Steelers voter had to give a vote for Big Ben? How can you not vote for Alex Smith coming back from a horrific injury to help lead the WFT to the division title? Yes, especially when it seemed his relationship with the team could be strained with them drafting his replacement and not any weapons.
  10. Bruce was the best at it. Man did he get low. Bad things, man!
  11. They finally got rid of DiMarco because they didn’t use him as a FB. Only a couple of teams use one these days.
  12. So, will the walls of Bills Stadium come tumbling down if they draft a guard at 30?
  13. Yep, negative reactions and selective memory by some. I was at that game. The first INT was a short pass that was a little off target that DiMarco popped up in the air. Two others were in the face of a rush that affected the throws. Still, I admit, when it got to five INTs, we were calling for Tyrod. He is fortunate to be making that kind of money with such a history.
  14. That reminds me of when my parents came out west for my wedding. Took them to see the sights. “Here”s the ocean!” Response: “Eh, we have the lake.”
  15. I’d like to say TE Hunter Henry but his price tag and the Bills likely cap room make it very unlikely. Jonnu Smith would be a good 2nd option. Goodbye Tyler Kraft.
  16. Yes, he needs to complete the AFC East cycle before he retires.
  17. This goes back to a point I’ve mentioned frequently. I don’t understand how the Rams and Cardinals, competing for playoff spots had nobodies with zero game experience as their backup QBs. It’s insane. The QB position is the most important so you should have a solid backup. With guys like Mark Sanchez and Leinart still in their mid 30s, I don’t understand why they are no longer in the NFL. No, they’re not great, but their experienced vets who could fill in for a couple games. Other than the Saints this season with Winston and the Chiefs with Henne, most teams are ill prepared for an injury to their starting QB. Heck, I’d even sign a 40+ year old Josh McCown vs guys with little or no experience like Davis Webb and Jake Fromm Stare Farm. Regarding Barkley, if the guy couldn’t play, his relationship with Josh should mean nothing, Bbecause he’s somewhat serviceable and has experience, especially within their system, I think he should be kept around. I also can never understand why most NFL teams carry only 2 QBs. Again, most important position on the team and you’re going to go with an emergency QB if your 2 QBs both get hurt?
  18. I think Roberts is still a guy worth keeping. His kickoff return average of 30.0 led the league and he was 7th in punt return average. He had some kickoff returns out of the end zone that were mistakes but there were at least a couple games where his big return of the opening kick got the team rolling early. They can be a huge spark.
  19. Yeah, I know the Bills rotate their D-Line a lot but Mario’s streak of seasons with 9 or more sacks ended. He’ll turn 34 at the start of the next season, so the reduced sack #’s could be an omen.
  20. Every time I see both those guys mentioned, I think of Frank Caliendo. “ Todd! Todd! Todd!”
  21. Sure is, but they had a lot of competition for Stafford.
  22. There used to be a 3rd place game for the NCAA Basketball Tournament. I don’t recall why they got rid of it but I don’t think anyone misses it.
  23. Rodgers said he didn’t run on 3rd down because he thought he would get 4th down but it sure looked like he could make it from most camera angles.
