I believe the Eagles are still the best team. After some shaky defense early, they have really stepped it up the last 2 games after their bye. Denver’s defense may be the best in the AFC but maybe not be able to overcome an offense that just lost Dobbins and has an inconsistent Nix at QB. The Chargers are so weird. They change coaches, players, etc. but still struggle badly when they have to travel to the east coast. They’re not likely to be able to avoid a cross country trip and/or a game with cold and possibly snowy weather.

I didn’t like that whole draft scenario, starting with trading KC the original 1st round pick so they could draft Worthy, who wasn’t worthy today with only 3 receptions for 25 yards. Then, they could’ve drafted Worthy, McConkey or Piersall. Sure, hindsight is 20-20 as far as the latter 2 turned out, but maybe they would’ve just taken Coleman there anyways. As it was, they got the extra pick to draft Bishop, whose game has really risen lately.

Hasn’t he done enough regarding team meetings to suspend him, or would the NFLPA quickly respond?

It’s insane, very challenging and fun.

The infamous JaMarcus Russell supposedly told his teammates after he signed that he was all set for life, then played like it.

But, but…it’s such a complicated offensive system.

Yeah, he’s not making any notable big plays anymore. Usually only time you see him on screen is coming in late after the tackle.

It seems this offensive offense is easy to game plan for, when one of the worst defenses this season shuts them out for the first half and gives up only 13 points for the game. Yet it is so complex that it takes a while for the players to grasp it. Shouldn’t it be the other way around?

Probably as many times as Dick Jauron said it after losses. The Chiefs also have Chris Jones.

How about UB’s Red Murdoch? Like Dolan, he makes a lot of tackles and now has the record for most caused fumbles.

It seems not long ago that Josh was being criticized for ignoring open receivers on short routes to try and make big plays downfield.

Last season it was a bunch of wrist injuries. That could partly be due to playing video games which overwork the hand and wrist area. Speaking from experience here.

I think Poyer has really helped him. After each of the big plays, Poyer was one of the first to congratulate him, and I don’t even think he was on the field for a couple of them.

The last 2 minutes in Cincinnati were also great television and a compelling finish. Bad defense though. I don’t know who that defender was that did a shoulder bump on Chicago’s Loveland, but if I was the coach, he’d have been cut today. Plus, there were 4 other Bengals there.

What was the purpose of using a timeout mid game when the Chiefs were kicking a FG? Did they not have the right number of players on the field? On one of the timeouts, a teammate kept telling Jordan Phillips to move and he was going back and forth. You’d think he’d know this defense by now. On the other there was a lot more moving around and pointing by several players. It definitely was chaos.

As someone else mentioned, this is today’s NFL. Many games are won by big offensive plays late. The Cincy/Bears game took it to an extreme but it’s been happening frequently.

Cook has really mastered waiting for and finding the holes. He looks so smooth, like vintage Marcus Allen or LeVeon Bell. Ray Davis comes in running the same plays and gets stuffed.

Yeah, the Bills’ DT group has been so weeded out, they played a guy named Phidarian today.

How about QB sneaks by Josh always going to the left? KC was ready for it in last year’s playoff game, so they ran it again, and again unsuccessfully. Duh!
