  1. Is this part of a tour before he announces he’s running for president?
  2. Yes, and for some stats you can’t compare eras. Bob Chandler could’ve been a consistent 100+ receptions per year guy in the current era.
  3. Jared Allen and Peppers had similar careers. Both were Defensive Rookie of the Year. Both were 2-time Def Player of the Year and both were All Pro several times. Peppers had more sacks (159 to 136) and played more seasons. I consider Holt as Very Good. Gates was one of the all time great TEs. I only would pick, Peppers, Allen & Gates.
  4. Why is it the Adam Schein Super Bowl? Chris Berman predicted those 2 teams several years in a row in the 80s and 90s. For 6 straight years, one of them was in, but they never played each other.
  5. I’m surprised it hasn’t already been mentioned but Art Powell was a Buffalo Bill for one season of 6 games. He was part of the trade that sent Daryl Lamonica to the Oakland Raiders. Al Davis fleeced the Bills in that one.
  6. I still say the way the Pro Football HOF operates is lame. It’s all about the ceremony. in my opinion, if 10 guys that are eligible are worthy, then vote in 10. Why limit it to 5? Conversely, if nobody is worthy in a particular year, don’t vote in any. Baseball does it the right way. They’ve had years with nobody voted in. However, I don’t like how the voters for all of the HOFs think they need to decide if a player is worthy to be voted in their 1st year of eligibility. To me, it should be black and white: Is he worthy, Yes or No?
  7. Yes, since that was similar to the Music City Miracle and the TD KC scored a couple weeks ago that was called back
  8. He’s been breaking NFL and team records all along. Now 11 games this season with a TD pass and run.
  9. Well, c’mon, Rudolph. Sunday’s Xmas Eve. It was in the Christmas cards!
  10. If you’re not acting, you’re not trying.
  11. ‘Professional’ college player. With the extra year of eligibility from COVID, etc, some of these college guys are like 23 or 24.
  12. I was one of those that believed, based on history with McD, that they could come out of the bye, win out and take the AFC East again. They’ve now won what seemed the 2 toughest games of the 5. Hopefully they can continue vs the Chargers. It’s raining out here right now but forecast is for partly cloudy and temps in low 60s for Saturday.
  13. How did they come up with that rule? If you’re going backwards, you’re likely losing yards so let’s penalize you some more. I noticed that other dumb rule again, where refs, NY or whoever decide to review a play in the last 2 minutes of a half. When they’re done, the team with the ball gets penalized by either having 10 seconds run off the clock or use a timeout. They could be at the goal line with less than 10 seconds left in the half and no timeouts, the refs decide to review the play and it’s “Sorry the half/game is over”
  14. I think Mahomes should’ve received a bigger fine than Reid. He was out of control with his ranting. Reid calmly made some mild comments. I guess they hold the head coach to a higher standard while also not wanting to further upset the Golden Boy.
  15. It’s all because they didn’t bring back Taiwan Jones. #sarcasm
  16. I was following on-line until Miami made it 27-13, figuring it was over. Later I was looking at fantasy stats and saw the score. I had figured Miami could lose to Dallas and Baltimore, setting up the last game for the division. Never expected them to lose at home to the Titans.
  17. Has Dunne been banned from the Bills locker room and facility? He sure created a sh1### show!
  18. Unfortunately I see him now and then talking Niners.
  19. Yeah, I had a similar experience here in Northern California. When I selected the Bills game a message said it was blacked out in my area. Even though the Raiders moved to Vegas 3 years ago, their games are still considered part of this area, so I thought that had something to do with it. I was then trying to figure out what to do and had the 4 game grid on the screen and noticed the Bills were now on after the Cleveland game I paused during the game and when I went back, it was now titled Buffalo/Kansas City. So, when the game ended, I rewound back to the beginning to see if I could watch the first TD, etc, but it only went back to that spot with 2+ minutes left in the first quarter, after the Browns game ended.
  20. I never understand the refs rationale on some of these out of bounds calls. If a guy steps out on his own, shouldn’t that stop the clock? I’ve seen guys pushed out by a defender and the ref still doesn’t stop the clock. Other times, a guy is tackled near the sideline and rolls out of bounds and they stop the clock. Like many other scenarios, there isn’t a lot of consistency. I know the rules are different for the last 2 minutes but you even see the players reactions to the unexpected calls.
