For me, the NFL has lost its luster. If the Bills weren’t so good right now, I wouldn’t have much interest. The season started, I watched the opening Thursday game, the Bills, another afternoon game, Sunday night football, Monday night, etc. but this weekend I only watched the Bills. I didn’t even have much interest in watching any highlights show.

Yeah, he must’ve been reading the negative comments about him on here.

So, is it the latest trend to create names starting with Ga’? In the past we had D’, Ka’, De, etc One of my favorites was D’Brickshaw. Another was Barkevious Mingo. So, were they thinking of names and their dog barked? One of my all-time faves was Elvis Peacock.

He was known for his man-to-man coverage and they drafted him with hope they could fit him into their zone defense. Apparently they feel he hasn’t worked out to their satisfaction. They may have tried to trade him but haven’t been satisfied with any offers. Personally, if they’re not going to play him, they should just waive him. It would be a big dead cap hit though as he has another year on his contract.

And if they threw it, and the ball was tipped and intercepted, the naysayers would say “why didn’t they just sneak it”

Overall, this defense is undersized and lacks team speed. We saw what Baltimore did to this defense. Tough aggressive teams like Philly and Pittsburgh could dominate them.

Special teams are a 3rd of the game.

It depends how many benjamins the refs were paid and by what team. This of course happens in all sports. I was watching the Golden State/Denver NBA game on Tuesday. Late in the game with Denver up by a couple points, there’s a loose ball. A Denver player dives on it, then does a complete rollover in front of a ref, which should’ve been a travel. He looks up at the ref and signals for a timeout, but Denver had used them up. It should have been a technical foul, Warriors foul shot and then their ball. Refs huddled and then called for a jump ball at center court. ????

The national guys have 32 NFL teams to talk about. They see Gabe Davis left, Diggs was traded, Poyer, Hyde & Morse gone and they quickly decide that they’re going thru a rebuild. Jets have Rodgers returning and strong defense so they must be the AFC East’s best team. Not a lot of thought behind it.

Where’s all those bozos that picked the Jets to win the division.

I don’t understand spending time on another team’s fan board.

The Niners actually play in Santa Clara, about 40 miles south of SF, which is warmer. If this game was being played out here, it would be in the mid-50s at gametime. Still, as you said, they don’t tend to be as affected by the colder weather as some other warm weather teams do.

This was so unimaginable. The 2023 head coach leaves in January for Alabama after Saban retires. A fair amount if players transfer out. What a job by the coaching staff to recruit players to form a team and then have this unexpected success!

Purdy has a decent arm but their passing game is built on timing and precision. 20 MPH gusts could really mess that up.

Did you not watch Philadelphia on Sunday night? They are tough and physical. If they play Detroit, it’s going to be a war.
