  1. The 2 commentators were right with you. Ross couldn’t understand how you kick it out of bounds when the field is 53 yards wide. Feeley thought you can’t be cute trying to get it in by the sideline and with the wind, he’d have kicked it to the middle of the field between the returners. Would be interesting to know whose decision that was.
  2. He made mistakes on preseason kickoffs, too.
  3. Depends on how they use him. If it’s just quick WR screens, Arizona should adjust and shut him down. I don’t know why, with his speed, that he hasn’t been a deep threat. My guess will be 3 receptions for 30 yards.
  4. Did you have to bring up EJ Manuel? That was so dumb by Buddy Nix to decide they need a QB in a draft where it was questionable that any of the QBs were first round blue chip prospects. EJ failed, as did Geno Smith, but credit to Geno for sticking with it and becoming a late bloomer.
  5. I think the Chiefs got word, valid or not, that someone above them was considering Worthy. Why else would they trade up? Yes, they could’ve possibly traded with another team to move up for Worthy, but my point of view is that you don’t help your main rivals.
  6. A “Chris Kelsay” move.
  7. I’ve had him on fantasy teams in the past, including last season and he drove me crazy. He’s very, very inconsistent. I also had Tua last year and I’d put him in for Lamar after another mediocre game and he would of course go off. He was one of the leading fantasy scoring QBs, but I swear a big chunk of it was in the 3 or 4 times I benched him. The rest of the games he was underwhelming. When he was named MVP, I couldn’t comprehend it. Now, as far as his actual play, his missed throws at the end cost them. Also, when has he won big games at the end by throwing the ball? If you can contain his running some, he’s not an effective QB. The Bills did an excellent job of it when playing them a couple years ago.
  8. I was going to post something like your last statement but decided not to jinx anything.
  9. There was this Diva talk when he was with the Vikings and the Bills took him off their hands. We hoped that he had matured but I guess not.
  10. Based on what? His NFL career consists of 2 receptions for 75 yards and a TD and one kickoff return for 21 yards. Let’s start fitting him for the gold jacket.
  11. The new era of UB football has begun!! At least for one week. Hey, they lost to FCS teams the past 2 seasons. Yes, Dolac was awesome.
  12. That can be fixed. Get him in the weight room and stuff him with steak.
  13. Yeah, it’s not like a kicker needs to know a playbook.
  14. Maybe he learned what Chris Kelsay did to stay with the Bills for so long and even get salary increases. So, we got rid of the Clapp, but it’s back.
  15. As many have mentioned, the 2020 AFCCG was the best chance and it was blown. I don’t know how many years I have left on this earth to die of natural causes, but I don’t think I’ll ever get over ‘13 seconds’. The Tyreke Hill play was just well designed and executed. The Kelce play just makes no sense. The Bills take a timeout on defense and then 2 defenders just let him run right between them? Was this ever explained as to what went wrong?
  16. It’s all a crap shoot. Even can’t miss early first rounders fail. There may be some issues with scouting and decision-making. Why draft a man cover CB in the first round and expect him to be able to transition to zone (round peg in square hole)? Picking a WR highly touted with a proven track record at a major college program increases the probability of that player making it in the NFL. Taking a WR in the 5th round from a lower level school who doesn’t have impressive college football stats decreases the chances.
  17. They got him to also cover Marvin Harrison Jr for opening week. Think Jeff Van Gundy hanging on Alonzo Mourning’s leg
  18. They say they “stick to their board” even though it made no sense to draft Rousseau and Boogie Basham in back to back picks.
  19. Yes, he started when Tank Dell was out and had huge games. I would think Robbie Chosen would be a better deep threat than MVS, if you can get past his changing his last name to Chosen.
  20. What’s all the excitement about? Based on his career numbers (QBR of 76) he’s a below average QB who doesn’t run. He has 14 rushes for 19 yards for his career of 14 games and I wonder how many of those were kneel downs.
  21. Josh was also tight with Barkley, Kyle Allen and Darnold.
  22. The Hard Knocks series has given good insight on this. They’ve shown the coaching staff all together making their cases for keeping players. There’s no way a GM not named Doug Whaley would make the final roster decisions alone.
  23. Are you a fly on the wall?
