  1. Yes, if the Bills had made it, and when they do, I prefer to watch by myself in my man cave. There are too many distractions at SB parties. I want to hear the announcers. I don’t want to have to ask ‘where is Player X?’ in the 3rd Qtr when the sideline reporter talked about an injury in the 2nd Qtr but I couldn’t hear it. I don’t want to miss hearing something because Joe Schmoe is all excited about being 2 game minutes away from winning $25 for the end of the Quarter in SB squares. Since Super Bowl commercials don’t matter to me anymore, I prefer to watch the game at my own pace and FFWD thru them. Finally, if the Bills were to lose, I would prefer to suffer by myself and also not take the chance that there’s someone there rooting for the opponent as there was at a SB25 party I attended, when me & most of the guys there were ready to punch him in the face. Fortunately for him, he read the room and got out of Dodge.
  2. Yeah, remember Who Wants to be a Millionaire in primetime? It started out as a special event in August of 1999 with half hour shows. It became popular so they expanded to one hour shows. Ratings were so good that they expanded to multiple days and eventually 5 nights per week. The overexposure led the public to tire of the show and ratings began to fall in the 2000-01 season. They dropped even more the following season and the show was cancelled with its final episode airing in June 2002. Their greed killed a good thing in less than 3 years.
  3. I say, if they have multiple teams in Europe, they can figure it out. So, a team from the West Coast flies all the way to Europe for a Sunday game, you schedule another game for them say on the following Thursday, and they just stay. Then they have 10 days until their next game to recover from the travel. If you have 4 teams in the Europe Division, each team will have the 6 games against each other. Make it a 5 team division, and half of their schedule will be in division. All that being said, I hate this Europe BS. How long before the Arabs offer a boatload of money so they can have teams? You think these greedy SOBs would block someone from buying a team that’s for sale and moving it to Dubai?
  4. Yeah! Well deserved! They would’ve not won the division or either of the playoff games without his leadership and excellent play. Thanks for posting the video since I didn’t watch the broadcast. As Josh always says: GO BILLS!
  5. Didn’t somebody here just suggest this in the last couple days? Let’s get a pass rush!
  6. Send the Chiefs there on a one-way trip. To the moon, Patrick! Bang! Zoom!
  7. KC ran a quick pass game. Pass rush wouldn’t have made a difference, especially since Elam was playing so far off receivers. They would’ve had to overwhelm the O-line with 7 or 8 rushers.
  8. That’s right, KC also prevented the Bills from playing in the first Super Bowl! #€£¥#$&!!!!!!!
  9. So, do we refer to this game as “The Spot game”? as the refs spot on that 4 th down sneak was probably the biggest isdue.
  10. It’ll be interesting to see the development of Solomon. They say the biggest jump is usually from year 1 to year 2. He was great in college, even though it wasn’t against top competition.
  11. I was thinking the same thing so I’ll credit you 50 cents.
  12. Yeah, I was born in the same era of your Mom. I was too young for the AFL titles. For those “youngsters “ lamenting first the ‘drought’ and now not being able to beat the Chiefs, a real low period as a Bills fan was the back-to-back 2-14 seasons of 1984 & ‘85.
  13. Yeah, it looks like he wouldn’t have even had to dive for it if he tracked the ball correctly. Who was that other Bill in the area, Hollins? He was running hard and may have had it but Kincaid got in his way.
  14. Yes, this is similar to the Levy 90’s teams that couldn’t win a Super Bowl in 4 straight years. In the 4th one, a Thurman fumble returned for a TD that only TIED the game, deflated the whole team in “here we go again” state and the game was essentially over.
  15. Most of the players were drafted about where they were projected. I’ve been wondering about this staff’s player development capabilities.
  16. And in this game, the Chiefs were throwing quick passes. There wasn’t enough time to get to Mahomes on most of them. That’s why you have to blitz in order to overwhelm the O-line but you then have to get there.
  17. And right before the play, Romo talks about it and says he thinks Spaga was going to send the blitzers. He has better instincts than our coaches.
  18. The whole organization is to blame for Elam being picked on today, hurting the Bills pass defense. First of all, since the Bills play heavy zone coverage, they used a 1st round pick on Elam, known for man coverage. Of course it initially sounds like trying to put a square peg in a round hole but they must’ve felt his talent could help him make the transition. It didn’t work in Year 1 and he was beaten out for the starting CB position by Benford, the 7th round pick of the same draft. The organization must have thought Elam could develop as they’ve kept him on the roster for now 3 seasons. However, he has spent most games as an inactive. Go into this season and this game and Elam is the 3rd CB? They should’ve been better prepared since Benford had been in concussion protocol. Correct me if I’m wrong, but the NFL seems to be loose with their roster rules as teams seem to add players to their roster during the playoffs. Yes, I can already hear the comments about bringing in a street free agent and expecting him to do any better with no familiarity of the system. We all saw Elam out there today and he was not good. I’ve seen Cam Lewis make more plays so I don’t know why he was not inserted into the lineup to replace Benford.
  19. I have long been on the side of “you don’t dump a coach that wins division titles” but I am finally leaning the other way. There is precedent of course. Chuck Knox won division titles for the Rams but failed in the playoffs and was dumped. Marty Schottenheimer had regular season success at his stints in Cleveland, San Diego and puke KC, but failed in the playoffs. Reid also had regular season success in Philly but couldn’t get the Eagles over the hump so he was let go. Pegula needs to ask himself if he’s satisfied with just winning division titles or does he want to get to the Super Bowl. Hopefully it’s the latter and he doubts Sean can get them there. I no longer believe McDermott can do it.
  20. Everyone needs to vent. I take the risk of account suspension or even banishment to post what many of you would like to do. FUUUUUCCCCCKKKKKK!!!!!
  21. I have watched every Super Bowl starting with #4. In my book, it’ll count to keep my streak going if I watch the opening kickoff and then turn it off.
  22. Of course Worthy scored. I was going to predict it but forgot. Fitting for those of us that did not like trading with them.
  23. Like the Ravens, the Eagles are a very physical team, especially their lines.
  24. I just hope, after the smart strategy of having Milano shadowing Lamar, they double team Kelce. The sight of Kelce running open between 2 defenders in the ‘13 seconds’ game will haunt me til my dying day.
  25. Yeah, it was MLK day with a lot of NBA basketball, the Sabres were playing, inauguration day and then it was like “oh yeah, the CFB Championship game is today”
