  1. So basically, the Jets are this year's Broncos Overhyped, with a washed up traded veteran QB And how cute, they even have Nathaniel Hackett too!
  2. If he were to come back and push Cam Lewis off the team, that would be outstanding
  3. I'd much rather have a QB that flies under the radar and doesn't get endorsements... Upstanding young fellows like JP Losman, Trent Edwards, EJ Manuel, etc that will help us to win 7 games and be solidly "In the Hunt" through Week 16 Then we can all go back to sleep for 17 years and set our alarm clocks for Sunday 1 PM games every week SMFH
  4. That's a lot of Benjamins for a guy who peaked 3 years ago
  5. Can someone just tell me if we should have drafted Josh Rosen??
  6. I always enjoy watching our division rivals trip over their own genitalia to make a desperation move like this $100+ million being pushed into multiple void years I get that Beane is also having to work some cap magic and pushing stuff out while we're in a championship window But what the Jets are doing is like some next-level idiocy
  7. This is all a pointless exercise I want to watch the Bills play in February Carry on
  8. Schadenfreude: Malicious joy or taking pleasure in the pain of someone else In football terms: Drinking Patriot fan's tears
  9. I am hoping that the Bills get both games against the Jets as late in the season as possible. Let the hype train roll out early in the year and give the Jets plenty of marquee matchups and prime time games. Then when they're predictably mediocre and Rodgers is either injured or pissed off at Robert Saleh, we can play them in Week 14 & 17 as they're in "let's see what we have in Zack Wilson" mode
  10. I just threw up in my mouth a little bit at the memory of mortgaging a future 1st round pick just to trade up a few spots for Sammy Watkins Please let our current GM never be that stupid. It's a pretty low bar but a reasonable request
  11. As a Harrisburg PA resident these past 10 years, it is widely known that LeSean McCoy is not the classiest of individuals here in his hometown However, when Jim Kelly was in one of our local breweries last year, I happened to be wearing my Bills gear and he bought my friends and I a round of drinks So that's how I differentiate between the two
  12. I really don't care much about any of these off-season moves until we can build a sustainably good OL Our ceiling is exactly where it has been the last 2 years without improvement there
  13. The Steelers can make all the genius trades and draft picks that they want, but they're going to be an AFC also-ran until they get a good QB again. Generously, they're probably the 11th best team in the conference at present
  14. The Bills didn't exactly cover themselves with glory in that draft by picking CJ Spiller when we already had Lynch and Jackson But at least we didn't pick the gadget QB that everyone KNEW would suck in the NFL
  15. Luckily their existence is only theoretical and has never actually been proven in real life And I lived in Jacksonville ~ 10 years ago. They were easily the 10th most popular team in town, behind Florida, FSU, Miami, Alabama, Auburn, and probably 5 more pro teams
  16. Let us know when he transforms into a QB that can beat the Bills without a loaded roster and a stadium sunstroke advanage
  17. Great! That means absolutely squat to the argument around trading picks & players and then paying the guy big bucks!
  18. Hard freaking pass We just let our own MLB go who got a fat contract from another team Why would we then go and trade players and/or draft capital to go pay another MLB? Do people just think this is Madden?
  19. I'll always remember Dick Enberg's call of the 3rd missed Denver FG in the 1st half: "And it hits the upright again!!! Oh myyyyyyyy"
  20. Well, that saves us from having to cut him after training camp
  21. I think that what you said right here is the thing that fans have latched onto all off-season, and frankly what scares us more than any personnel losses or future salary cap constraints. When you have a staff that isn't capable of reading the room or properly adjusting to these types of in-game circumstances, that's when it's hard to envision a Super Bowl victory no matter how great our QB is or how much talent we acquire I was in the stands that day, and it absolutely stood out to be the most lifeless performance I've seen in the 50 or so games I've been to over the past 30 years It felt like the game was over in the first quarter and we were just waiting for it to officially end.
  22. I'm OK with this as a depth move. I mean - he's no Vlad Ducasse though...
