  1. If the Bills were in the AFC North and had to cross over and play the NFC East and AFC South, their numbers would be gaudy. A ton of this is who you play and how the schedule sets up. The Bills actually have a pretty tough schedule versus a lot of teams that have feasted on bottom feeders all year. The Bills are as good as almost everyone in the league except the Chiefs. Pittsburgh might have perhaps the most hollow 10-0 record of all time at this point. Good yes. Best in the AFC.....give me the Chiefs. The Chiefs are still a step above everyone. There are then like 10 teams that are all together, and are pretty damn solid. The Bills are definitely one of the teams in the group of next ten. This group includes the group that has teams that look like they could win the Super Bowl one week, then look like total garbage for a game or two. Then rip off 3 wins in a row again.
  2. If there was a chance that he would play 15 plays a game, that could be 15 less of Klein being out there. And 15 plays that he could also smack Edmunds in the head every time he catches him out of position. A clear win for the Bills defense, leadership and coaching staff.
  3. I remember thinking last year that Zo was looking kinda slow and old out there toward the 2nd half of the year. Thought he made a good choice to retire. Then Klein showed up. I'd call him in a heartbeat. What could it hurt?
  4. Can he hurry up and add 30 pounds and be athletic at LB? 100 Pounds and be a run stuffer?
  5. If this dude can simply run forward, and then maybe backpedal a few yards......well.......he's already better than Klein.
  6. Beasley has 18-260-1. Watkins has 19-198-1. Says it all. Pretty much sums up what I said, and where his worth stands. It's not bad, but it's nowhere near what some people feel the need to cling on to that this guy is some kind of superstar player that teams can't do without. The Chiefs were perfectly fine with letting him leave if he didn't take the pay cut. It's not hard to see.
  7. Correct. Just like countless numbers of other mediocre players that have done the same thing in the postseason.........in every sport. Every year. Maybe he is football's version of Big Shot Bob Horry, Mark Lemke, Brooks Orpik, or Doug Williams. They all have rings too.
  8. He had one good game for KC last year. On opening day. Period. He was pretty much non-existent all regular season and they breezed through the season as the #1 seed and with an unstoppable offense...........largely without him. doing much of anything. He was dealt a pay cut. Speaks volumes. He then decided to show up in the playoffs and helped them immensely. But unlike stars, he can't be counted on, and he's inconsistent. Period. He's a flash player who gives you glimpses of his elite type talent every once in a great while. He has the talent. He has the tools. He's just one of those guys that will never quite put it together. Frustrating. He is what he is. I don't think he had more than 70 yards in any other game last year outside of the opener. I don't get why he's defended so much. I also don't get why he's ripped on so much. He's just a guy that flashes every now and then. That's all he'll ever be. Sometimes it helps alot. But a lot of the time, he probably can't be counted on consistenntly. His new pay, and his contract status show that perfectly.
  9. Wins are needed. If they can play, they need to play. A.J. Klein is god awful. He basically just dances around in small circles every play. This is clearly one of the only areas that we couldn't afford this to happen to. We'll get through it, but man, there has to be better options out there than Klein.
  10. Lee Smith - The mere fact that he's still on this roster, in any capacity, earns him the "Chris Kelsay WTF do you have on the coaching staff to still be here" award.
  11. It's been stated that each team will play one home game and one away game in the preseason. That is NFL wide. They are reshuffling the schedule.
  12. It's cool, but honest to god, I could care less. I'm there to watch the game not really to glance at the board. I'm with the poster up there ^^^ Who gives a crap about all that extra crap? Waste of money. Their attendance isn't going to contingent on that scoreboard one bit. And after the first time you see it, you'll be over it, and will be a subconcious feature/amenity at the stadium from that point on.
  13. Yet, on the flip side of this.....the Pegula's who earned billions of dollars have no business sense? Really? Leave it to the pros? How'd that work out for the Bills for the 20 year drought? The Tom Donahoe era in particular....wasn't that entire era of pro run Bills football just so much fun? Both on and off the field. Business and Football ops. The pros didn't seem to have a clue either. I get your point. But still. Good players correct everything. The Sabres will get lucky at some point, and they'll be called a model franchise someday.
  14. I'm not sure if I'm right or wrong, but I have zero worry about the Pegulas having enough cash to own and continue to run the Bills. And I'm stoked because between Covid 19 slowing down cashflow for state and local governments for non-essential things like a NFL Stadium, and not a ton of new oil money, it seems to me that any support at all for financing a new stadium these days will be pretty lacking along with just being plain stupid hopefully. Although, New York does harbor some of the dumbest politicians in the world, so nothing is guaranteed in terms of common sense. I.E. use the money to pay for essential needs and services that serve citizens first, not a NFL Stadium. Renovating the Ralph seems much more plausible at this point. Those of us that want the facilities to stay in Orchard Park seem to maybe have things swinging in our favor here. #RenoTheRalph
  15. All in good fun. However, even social media is a competition, albeit friendly, between teams. If I were the Steelers, I would have simply taken a picture of their Super Bowl trophy case with no words needed and tagged back. End of story!
  16. Absolutely hate it. Should be way more difficult than a 4th and 15.
  17. Perfect. Rivers looked horrible most of last year, and IMO, this helps us. He's a statue, and an increasingly more of a turnover machine than anything. I love Rivers and his competitiveness, but he's done. This will probably hurt the Colts more than help them. If I'm right, this makes the Colts one less AFC to deal with in the playoff run.
  18. https://www.wivb.com/news/local-news/buffalo/one-of-two-possible-home-playoff-games-for-the-bills-sells-out/ LOL. Wow. Considering one game is already sold out......
  19. I'll be there. Lower level kinda where the pylon is. This night game blows. Have to kill all day long doing something as to not have to sit in a hotel room. Ugh. Could get a little rough for visiting fans in there too. Hunker down. Stay the course! lol
  20. Without prolonging this, because I no longer come here to get in to drawn out conversations arguing back and forth..... The Denver Broncos can do this because they have a season ticket waiting of over 75,000 people I believe. Big difference. That gives them all kinds of advantages when putting policies in place. The Bills would kill their own business model if they did that.
  21. No offense, but WTH are you talking about suggesting that the Bills limit season ticket sales to just local zip codes? I've been a season ticket holder for 20 years and live in Virginia. Before kids, and during the first 12-15 years of the 18 year suck period, I came up to almost all home games. They are lucky to have me hang on for so long through piss poor management. Then, I got tired of the losing and cut back drastically. During those years, I had to practically give tickets away because nobody wanted them. And I'm on the visiting team side, lower bowl, 48 yard line. 19 rows up. Now that we are competitive again, I've been to more games again. The city and region of Buffalo is plenty big enough to fill this stadium full of 90% Bills fans. And that includes season ticket holders and locals that now have secondary market tickets available to them as well. There are plenty of local Bills fans right now that could gobble up those secondary market tix as we speak. We aren't the only cold weather city in the NFL. If the stadium isn't at least 90% Bills fans this Sunday, well, shame on us. It's not going to be bone chilling cold. Plenty of affordable tix are available. And this is the first legitimate huge game we've had in 20 years. Get your asses to the game this weekend. Dress warm. And come fired up. This makes me ill. And no, it's not just as fun in front of your 75 inch TV in your basement. I have one too. That excuse is lame as well. Nothing beats the live experience. Nothing at all. If the Bills pull an upset, those in attendance will remember the game forever, because the energy in the place will be amazing. Something you can't create in your living room.
  22. Romo is unrivaled. He's the best in the business, and again, was terrific on the broadcast. He's probably the best color guy, ever. I'll take Romo any day of the week.
  23. Quickly, off the top of my head.......guys who don't run much sitting their asses watching games this year. Big Ben. Brees. Foles. Brissett. Flacco. Keenum. McCoy. Stafford. Newton. Now, lets list all the "running" QB's that are hurt...... Ummmmmmm. Ummmmmmmmm. Well, ummmmmm. Let him friggin run. John Harbaugh and staff embraced all of Lamar's skills. Let Josh run when he see opportunity to do so. He's our biggest offensive weapon and his running opens up the skills of the rest of our mediocre offensive players, making them better.
  24. If we can get the Steelers, 10-6 looks ok. 9-7 looks even more realistic. However, if we get 10-6....We can be King Schitt of Turd Island. I guess that's better than where we usually are and get us in the wildcard.
