  1. Too much roster turnover, too many variables, and ultimately I think we will head into the season with too many holes. Sure we will fill some holes in the draft but they won't be able to fill them all and even if we hit on some draft picks you have to anticipate some rookie struggles coming. It's irrelevant comparing what the Bills did last year as this team is going to look significantly different this season.
  2. Ahh that makes much more sense. It looked like Mr. Nanny but I couldn't remember this scene and I've never seen Suburban Commando 😬
  3. I think it's entirely possible they still win 10 plus games and win the division again. I never said they were going to suck this year. The topic of this thread was that the Bills can still win a Super Bowl this year. That's where I completely disagree.
  4. I'm not making that statement strictly based on losing Diggs. I'm factoring in the losses of Morse, Poyer, White, Gabe Davis, Leonard Floyd as well. It's just too much roster turnover for one season. Of course they aren't going to come out and talk like it in front of the media but I guarantee you behind closed doors even Beane and McDermott are approaching the next couple years like a quick reset.
  5. Give it up man....we are looking at a 2 year re-tooling phase right now. It's not a bad thing. Bills will be fine in the long run. You are nuts if your expectation is a Super Bowl win in 2024
  6. I just read an article in the paper about how the Woodstock Museum is currently working on a project where they are traveling around and meeting face to face with people who attended Woodstock to compile an oral history catalog on first hand experiences. It's important they do this now because that population is starting to age out and they want to separate facts v.s. myths while they still can. Pretty cool stuff.
  7. Loved him in Happy Gilmore and Freaks and Geeks. RIP
  8. Now this is an interesting piece of info. They must be going through the process much quicker than originally anticipated as the early reports were saying it would take them this entire year just to get through people in the club seats and wouldn't get to people in the lower bowl until 2025. I'm also very curious to see what the PSL is going to be for 50 yard line seats. My guess is $10K
  9. I remember it being pretty bad but I definitely did not have any expectations for the Bills back then so I view that as one of the many bad seasons of Bills football. But for me a disappointing season happens when I have higher expectations.
  10. As the season is winding down and no playoffs in sight for Year 13 I am just reflecting a bit on this season and wondering if this will go down as the most disappointing season in Buffalo sports history? Reminds me a little bit of the failed expectations of the Drew Bledsoe/Takeo Spikes years but at that point the Bills drought was just in the beginning stages so the frustration wasn't as pent up as it is right now with the Sab's
  11. I mean a $1000-$2000 PSL isn't expensive by any means and I could easily afford it without a sweat but for me there's a principle involved at stake too as someone who has pretty good seats in the 100 level currently. I just can't justify paying more money to go sit in the nosebleeds for a more watered down gameday experience. I may be in a unique position(or not so unique from a lot of commentary I'm seeing here and other places) where I am just getting sick of the NFL in general and looking forward to taking a step back. It all comes down to personal choices how bad do you want to be there and at what cost. For me the desire just isn't there anymore.
  12. But do you trust the process?
  13. I've never really put too much weight into the changes that will be going on with the club seats but to me the biggest concern would have to be the changing demographics in the 100 level seats. I know those seats won't have $50K PSL's but I'm anticipating them to be anywhere from $5K-$10K depending on where in the 100 level and that will be enough to steer a decent amount of people away. I'm not just pulling that out of thin air. There are tons of Bills fan groups and pages and accounts on Facebook and Twitter filled with long-time season ticket holders in that area that say they are ready to walk away if the PSL's are going to be that much. Sure some of them may end up buying tickets in the nosebleeds and end zones(which I don't think the PSL's will be too bad there) but it is going to create a logjam of fans fighting over those seats that won't be able to keep their current seating area in the new stadium. Am I wrong to expect this to be the case?

  15. It's all good, I don't disagree with you there and respect your fandom. I still have a hard time picturing the stadium full to capacity indefinitely going forward if the Bills encounter some more lean years again(not talking about ticket sales, just butts in seats). Once again I understand the business side to all of it and I'm not shocked this is where we are but as a fan it's just disappointing the time is here, I mean we all knew it was coming yes but I don't think every fan has to love it and just take it with all smiles and rainbows. There is going to be a lot of venting going on from now right up until the new stadium is opened. Eventually it will die down and people will move on with it but right now it definitely feels like a culture shock.
  16. Obviously a little bit of a generalization on my part, of course every situation is different but from my experience of people I knew in real life it was definitely that type of fan that wanted nothing to do with going to the games during the drought years. That doesn't mean that there are not true fans who have club seats etc. so I didn't mean to offend you personally. I was speaking from a generalized point of view. I still think there's some truth to it but honestly I didn't mean to come across insulting.
  17. I'm not the one disputing the Bills are going to be moving anywhere, my post was a response to your comment saying it will be impossible to ever get single game tickets ever again once the new stadium opens. Even with PSL's...once the going gets tough the whine and cheese crowd won't give two S***'s about going to the games anymore and tickets will be on the resale market. Not sure what the pricing will be but it will not be impossible to ever get single game tickets to a Bills game in the new stadium. Sure maybe in the first few years as we are still riding the high on these glory years with Allen but there's no way that excitement will be sustained when the Bills fall off again. Look at how packed the Sabres arena is these days! I completely understand the business side to all of this. It is what it is but I am speaking from the perspective of a fan, it's just a shame this is where things are heading but it's unavoidable. I get your a business guy and see it from that perspective but your avatar pic is of Kirby Jackson for christ's sake lol. Surely you still must have some old school fandom in you deep down from the glory days that can understand why so many people hate this. These are just completely different times of being a Sports fan that we grew up in.
  18. Hollywood's really running out of ideas these days
  19. Josh Allen won't be in his prime indefinitely. As soon as the Bills go back to sucking It's not going to be the rich folks selling out that stadium on a week to week basis. I'm still curious how this thing plays out in the long haul.
  20. Yup I remember when being a sports fan was blue collar entertainment but it has drastically shifted to being an Elitist hobby. All while the actual product has gone downhill.
