  1. I would have to put headphones on to hear the difference. It would also be nice to hear the MP3 version for comparison. Yes I get what they are saying by having a track that plays the differences. Oddly enough, from the same site is an article on what Neil Young is pushing. Yes I get what they are saying by having a track that plays the differences. I can tell you by my ears anyway, a 10 year old Sony MP3 player was much better than an IPhone or laptop. It opened up my listening world to alternate hardware. http://gizmodo.com/dont-buy-what-neil-young-is-selling-1678446860
  2. I would have thought a lot of offensive linemen from the 60's and 70's would be having issues. Remember when the Defensive linemen were able to club them in the head while they were rushing. I remember one defensive lineman say he could see the offensive lineman playing against him was zippy after he hit him a couple of times.
  3. If that is true, there is still some housecleaning yet to be done. There mid-season pick ups have done well. This could be a year where that is really missed.
  4. I suppose the Bills would have been better if they just left the holes? Every team loses players, you replace them, either by draft or free agency. Not sure what world you live in?
  5. Thanks for that. Sounds like Hollywood studio's are filled with politicians.
  6. How does that song go "too much time on their hands."
  7. They replaced Gilmore, who either doesn't know how to tackle or doesn't want to, with some one that hopefully can.
  8. Follow this link, I think you will really enjoy it. Never cared much for "I am a Walrus" but this made me listen to it with a different mind set.
  9. Thanks for that link. The comments are interesting. It appears there is a connection with what you may be used to listening to and what you think is a good cover. There is no way the Clash version of "I Fought the Law" is better than The Bobby Fuller Four. "I Fought the Law" is one of my most played songs. If I played it, I would play it from 3 to 10 times in a row. There are some songs I just can't get enough of when I hear them, and that is one of them. I vaguely remember the Ramones "California Sun". I clicked on it to listen to it, especially since I really like the Riviera version, and I thought it sounded like something you might hear some group do to stick into a movie. Then I had to laugh as I read the write up and it said the Ramones used it in their movie "Rock and Roll High School."
  10. The Yardbirds, "A Train Kept a Rollin."
  11. I pitched fastpitch softball for 12 years. Luckily I never had a ball come back at me like that. On the women's game, she is only about 36-38 feet away from the plate when she let's go of the ball.
  12. Could it be any worse than watching the Bills all season?
  13. What do you mean by range of motion. Bending? Or side to side, which I am not sure how to describe.
  14. I used to do the same thing when my kids were small. When I am home now I still sometimes do this. There is an issue in parking lots. I am very paranoid about backing up in parking lots. A few years ago, as I was putting the groceries in the trunk, I saw a lady pull in a couple of of slots over. When I got in the car I was glanced in the side mirror and I could see one of her kids run behind me. Other than that I would have never known he was there. I waited for her to eventually walk by and go into the store. Now if anyone is pulling in, with or without kids I tend to wait until I know they are gone. Probably still not enough. I should probably do the same as you and just get out and check.
  15. For all we know, Rex had the final word in the last two drafts and Marone before that. So I guess we may be picking on the wrong guy.
  16. I'll see your Keith Richards and raise you one Ginger Baker.
  17. More that 50 years ago but I still find this hard to believe. I mean did it ever work even once? On top of that there was even a Mead involved! http://gizmodo.com/blowing-smoke-up-your-ass-used-to-be-literal-1578620709
  18. There is no hockey like Stanley Cup hockey. Don't know which teams I like but I know a few I don't like.
  19. I am surprised no one mentioned this but what about the individual that graduated this year with a huge loan amount. Sorry, you don't qualify, no lotto win for you. Or for that matter any of the previous years.
  20. The fine prints fails to tell you only 1 in 20 can get a job in NY.
  21. This is rather amusing. Someone with the name FireChan would be willing to keep Rex. Oh well, we all go off the rails once in a while.
  22. I think you are confused. This is the kind of thing Facebook is for.
  23. Actually, it is the Star Wars plot set back in time instead of the future.
  24. That happens when you mix Cowgirls and Bullpens!
