  1. Maybe your not thinking of the same things i'm thinking. They have success with malcontents who have screwed up before and have turned them around. Tyreek Hill, Frank Clark, Travis Kelce(in college), Willie Gay Jr who just came off suspension, Bashaud Breeland who got arrested and went on to be successful with the Chiefs. I think were thinking of 2 different lines. Your thinking of reclamation projects.
  2. So you think Schoen and Daboll would pull the wool over Beane and McDermott about a headcase football player after they helped them get the jobs their in currently? If the Bills inquired I'm sure they would have told the Bills the truth about the player.
  3. The Chiefs have had good success with guys like this unfortunately
  4. They did the survey. Most wanted to keep the tailgating experience and keep good sightlines. It looks like this rendering did both. Plus we have no idea how accurate these are. Its a new stadium thats keeps the team in Buffalo.
  5. Most fans were correct, it 100% looks like a European soccer stadium based on the architecture group they hired. Good sleuthing there by people.
  6. id be more worried about the Chiefs getting another high end weapon
  7. A 4th is good for a pass rusher that you think can make a difference as a contender. Solid move by Philly
  8. Quinn isn’t the same pass rusher he used to be. Will be a nice fit for them tho and the style of defense they play. Curious how much they gave up but I have to think a 3rd sounds about right or multiple day 3s
  9. I can't see the Packers with Rodgers trading him in season despite their struggles. My guess is GB thinks they can turn it around and I don't blame them. Now if Rodgers retires in the offseason, they are in full rebuild mode, then I can see it then.
  10. I just think with the overall success our scouting staff has had in the mid-late rounds, giving up a 4th is hard to swallow for me. At least we have two 5s due to the Ford trade and giving one up to me is palatable to get us the player we need regardless of position and still maintain harmony in each round
  11. while I get your point I wouldn’t go higher and this is not a knock on you but a 5th rounder is a 5th rounder I always hated that saying. Yes some are more valuable than others but it is a media created saying to make higher picks seem more valuable
  12. If he did, no big deal. Guys may return after 9-10 months but they are also usually not the player that they were before the injury. It usually takes a good 18 months for them to be the player they were before the injury. Let him take his time. We are facing a Packers team void of WR talent and a Jets team that has good WR's but doesn't have a QB to get them the ball.
  13. I think its just the case of them not wanting to rush him back until he is completely ready. They don't particularly need him (I know hard to say) right now as Benford, Elam, and Jackson have been more than holding it down. Why rush him back if that's the case. They even cited rushing Thomas Davis back only to watch him tear his ACL again. Chris Godwin rushed back after tearing his and he lasted one week before he went down with a Hamstring. Just be patient, let the young guys do their thing. They are looking at White's full career over rushing him back for a mid season game that they should win even without him.
  14. I'll pass on the 4th rounder. Gonna be some RB's out there on the block and Robinson just went for a 6th. I'd maybe offer a 5th rounder and see if that gets it done.
  15. If this is a topic about the Bills defenses success without having really 3 of our starters for periods of time than I think you can chalk it up to scheme by the coaching staff and their ability to coach up the defensive backs. It might also mean that we have a hell of a lot of depth in the secondary.
  16. This stuff is 100% getting held back because of the elections in my opinion.
  17. While people may be disappointed, that is about the going rate for an average TE in the league right now. They have become so valuable and so hard to find. I also think you'll see his production pick up here after that bye week.
  18. The reason why Hackett specifically is looked fondly upon by the NFL Community is because his father was looked fondly upon by the NFL Community. His father coached in the NFL for like 20 years and made all kinds of connections for junior. The tea leaves should have been on the wall cause Paul Hackett was a severely overrated coach as well in his day but the NEPOTISM of it all played a huge factor is Nathaniel Hackett being where he is today.
  19. Its the same as how Josh McDaniels, Adam Gase etc got jobs with all time great QB's. Stupidity. The fact that NFL owners and GM's etc don't see this is beyond me. Give me the guy who takes a below average QB to the playoffs or a coach who get a team less talented to play up over guys who have it easy coaching HOF QB's. What Mike Kafka is doing with Daniel Jones is HC worthy. Lou Anarumo with the Bengals playing top 5 defense without a ton of household talent. Those 2 would be at the top of my list.
  20. Ah mistaken, could have sworn he played 1 regular season game and looked decent must have been another preseason game.
  21. Ehlinger hasn't looked bad in the preseason and limited regular season exposure. I think Reich knows he is going to get canned unless a young guy can get it going. I like the kid, whether he's a starter in the NFL it TBD. Ryan wasn't taking this team anywhere, he was shot.
  22. If I were looking at a player from Denver I'd probably go after KJ Hamler. Explosive slot guy who can get vertical. Wouldn't cost as much as Jeudy or Chubb but i'm sure wouldn't be cheap either so I suspect we wouldn't make a move on that.
  23. Nickname plus my favorite numbers thats it.
