I think he's got the turf toe thats been bugging him all year and that zaps his speed like others have said which is his main strength. He is also rather injury prone his whole career so I'm not sure how much that changes in the future. We have a lot of different weapons that we seem to utilize and it seems like he has kind of fallen out of favor for injury or otherwise. He will be a Buffalo Bill next year as his contract really cant be gotten out of until 2026. Even at post June 1st next year is out of the question. We're stuck with him for another year hopefully they can find a better way to utilize him. I think the renegotiation of Allen's contract will be good reason to free up cash for next year because there are not a lot of contracts that are easy to get out of without taking a hit so lowering Allen's cap hit is the easiest way to do that and extending him also makes a ton of sense.

McKenzie also had a bone to pick a bit because he was prominent in his role and it kept further diminishing in his time. The Bills were basically the highlight of his career, Paid him the most money in his career , and he’ll most likely get a pension because of the time he spent. He should be thankful as all hell for Beane and McDermott believing in him.

I don’t think we’ll overlook them so I’m not worried about a hangover. The weather shouldn’t be a big deal and we can run the ball effectively if we need to. The Pats Oline and WRs aren’t good so I suspect with us being at home this won’t be close

I was wondering if they were since RVD has played well in the swing tackle role but once Brown got the neck issue I’m sure that completely decided it. As for Toohill I thought he played well but I wonder if this is a sign they’re going to give Solomon a slight increase in workload now that Smoot is back. Surprised they let Deen go off the PS as I thought he showed really well in the preseason but maybe he’s not improving

I'd like to hold onto him for another year if possible. I guess it really depends on how many jobs are out there to be had. We all know some names out there that are likely to get one: Ben Johnson Mike Vrabel Todd Monken will be up for jobs Liam Coen is a name that people have to know he worked with McVay and is with TB right now as their OC that is pretty good Joe Brady Aaron Glenn Do other retreads get an opportunity due to their coordinator success: Vance Joseph Vic Fangio Brian Flores Either way I'd say its not a strong group. I think its Johnson, Vrabel, Coen and then a tier below including Brady. He has some natural connections to New Orleans obviously, theres rumors the Bears have been doing some work on Brady, and obviously Cincinnati if their job becomes available.

I mean if the game is a playoff game the answer is no I do not but if the answer is hey we have 2 weeks and we are locked into the # 2 seed at worst than sure give them live reps in inconsequential games. Elam was better than Bishop for sure. The guy just struggles in deep coverage right now.

Grable will replace one of the Dlineman this week most likely Phillips or Jefferson. I don’t see them moving a Safety up until Hyde is fully acclimated and ready to contribute

I mean prepping for a guy is easy. You can see a lot of good traits in tape but you can't replicate what you see live. You tend to underestimate Allen and others thinking oh well we'll spy him with Campbell or Kwon Alexander and we will be okay not realizing that Allen is significantly more agile and faster in game and those guys can't keep up. You really have to put a safety into the game to make that happen. When you do that though it leaves you vulnerable to the Bills downhill rushing attack if your in nickel or dime.

Looked like a stinger to me for Brown. He was clutching the left but also holding his helmet in the left which makes me think he avoided a collarbone, shoulder/arm issue.

I tend to agree, have a two game cushion. You lose to Houston okay that sucks but you’re still in the drivers seat. Come back for Pitt and win both to lock the 1 would be my guess

I don’t know enough about kicking mechanics but it’s embarrassing for him to have the yips on short kicks. He absolutely buried dead center almost every one of his other kicks and he’s been mostly accurate but the ones he does miss are absolutely mind blowingly completely shanked not even close. It’s like he thinks too much on short ones and long ones he just lets it rip

I keep saying the Bengals should pull out all the stops to get Ben Johnson it makes sense from both sides of the financials make sense. I would typically say that the franchise QB always wins when their is a rift but the Bengals ownership does have a history of battling franchise QBs
