  1. That play was the same play they ran that Thielen made that great one handed catch against TB.
  2. He made a big play but man hands of stone this drive .
  3. Just throw the ball away Hurts instead of sliding down for an 8 yard loss
  4. Stupid ass play call by Stefanski
  5. Kellen Moore is going to get a HC job and I would bet he is going to flop. He hasn't been a good offensive coordinator recently but got thrown the most elite skill and offensive line in the NFL and makes him look like a genius now.
  6. The Jets winning today is the best of both worlds. Jets win a game and lose draft position to get a new QB and the Dolphins are basically officially eliminated from the playoffs.
  7. Interesting that both Rapp and Cine are active. They must like what Cine has provided during practice and want to see him in live action even if its just Special Teams. Rams have no one of consequence out today.
  8. I'm starting to get the idea that you aren't a fan of Florida State football by the way your going about it. Winston I get, Hopkins is actually a really good guy.
  9. I've been impressed with Carolina and the way they have been playing the last 4 weeks. Young has improved his game and the defense looks like its not swiss cheese anymore. This Tennessee/ Jax game is like watching the bad news bears
  10. My guess is they would have gone to Penix by now if they still weren't winning the division. Another team throwing Kirk way too much money.
  11. He pulled the Old Josh Allen flop and flail. I was laughing when I saw the replay
  12. Their just a good matchup for them. I know Pittsburgh improved their offensive line but Cleveland's D-line always seems to get pressure and the Steelers skill guys are not very good and the Browns do have some really good athletes in their back 7 with JOK, Newsome, Delpit etc. Now with a guy that actually can put up points in Winston over Watson that makes them really dangerous against a team like Pittsburgh. People also have to remember the Browns made the playoffs with Flacco last year so there is a lot of talent on that roster.
  13. I think Cleveland is going to beat them again. Without Pickens, this Steelers offense is going to be horrendous today. Winston just can't throw pick 6's which for him is easier said than done.
  14. Healthy Roster
  15. Man I love Jameis he's like Fitzy on absolute crack. You just never know whats going to happen when hes in there. He can wow you with his play and then at the same time he can leave you completely befuddled on what he was thinking as he throws a back breaking INT
  16. No but he’s refining drill work, staying in football shape, and going through gameplan walkthroughs so he stays engaged and feels part of the team. He’s a young football player that they need to keep building vs putting him with trainers. You could say the same for Carter for sure but the DT position isn’t as hard to catch up on and Carter is a platoon player who won’t see many snaps as he builds back up.
  17. White was signed after Buechele was put on IR. Would have been the PS guy if he didn’t get hurt. I will be interested after having both Trubisky and White pretty much all year if they want one back next year as # 2 or if they let both walk and go a different route
  18. Yea, all I know is Shane Buechele aint that guy as the future # 2 behind Allen
  19. Nickel packages and the 4-2 both employ 5 DBs but they are deployed differently. The creation of nickel defense isn’t the same as the creation of the 4-2 defense. The 4-2 was created in the 80s while Nickel was created in the 60s. They are similar yet different. Nickel was created as a 3rd down package to stop 3rd and long passing situations. The 4-2-5 was created as teams started to widen the field horizontally. Nickel essentially takes a 5th DB on the field that is smaller and shiftier with two heavy LBs to stop the run. The 4-2-5 was created to get lighter in the LB range and the 5th guy is supposed to be a hybrid player that is bigger. Think Shaq Thompson of the Panthers when McDermott was there. The Bills decided to go lighter with that hybrid position with Johnson here. This guy explains it well, just don’t want to type it all out https://gtswarm.com/threads/nickel-vs-4-2-5-d.2169/
  20. I do remember him. I looked it up to make sure. Saw him in the 2021 semifinals. He was a backup at the time if I recall and had to play due to an injury to the starter and he ran all over SDSU when no one was giving them a chance to win that game. That's the only time I've seen him play. Think he could play a different position in the NFL? I remember him being a tough SOB in that game in the snow.
  21. If a guy goes on IR he can't practice for the 4 weeks he is on IR. They probably, despite his injury, didn't want to take away practice reps from him while he recovers from injury. They probably thought it was worth not IRing him for that purpose even if it meant taking 4 weeks.
  22. Boy tough crowd for a guy just starting a topic about getting a developmental Quarterback lol
  23. Haven't seen him play I'll try to take a look. Looking at his stats, is he just a flat out runner? Passing stats over his career are nothing special until this year. Legit asking as I've never seen him play or took notice. I try to watch the FCS playoffs as much as I can because those teams are the ones most likely to have a chance at the next level. Is he the kid a couple of years ago that split time and ran all over SDSU in the playoffs? I remember a guy like that and I swore it was Montana State?
  24. He has said he might enter based on his stock but he also has a year of eligibility left. If he goes back to college expect him to be a transfer portal guy to an FBS school
  25. Im not sure how high he’ll go yet and I’m biased to the University but a very intriguing name that might not even be Day 3 is Mark Gronowski the QB at FCS South Dakota State. He doesn’t have eye popping statistics in the passing game but he’s in a very balanced offense there and has great size at 6’3 230. He’s also a mechanical engineer so you know he has smarts. Plays in obvious cold weather and is mobile as well as he has averaged around 400 yards rushing and multiple TDs. He has some mechanical things he’s have to change at the NFL level and his arm looks above average.
