  1. I do not, I was a young kid when Jackson and Summerall were at their peaks
  2. Al is an old school announcer he grew up in that era. Listen to Keith Jackson and Pat Summerall and you’ll get the same type of commentary excitement.
  3. Just killing them with the Tight Ends tonight , Hawes is a big part of this offense it’s kind of crazy. I was high on him pre draft but I never expected him to be this involved in all aspects of the team.
  4. Just giving him some love and he drops it Stand corrected good play by the Dolphins DB
  5. Dolphins have no shot at stopping the Bills offense unless they screw up themselves
  6. Kincaid starting to come into his own . A couple good blocks to spring Cook and a couple of nice catches in the drive. It was an odd catch because Kincaid sat as he knew the CB was peeling off the WR while Allen was late to notice it and tried to lead him
  7. Sure it is and that’s great for Shakir but I would venture the number of WRs drafted in the late rounds to get massive 2nd contracts are small. Hodgins has already passed the typical NFL career average in general and that’s for a 6th round pick.
  8. Did he get away, no I wouldn't say that but for a 6th round pick, he's in the 5th or 6th year of his career. He's hanging on but he's sticking around in the league. Good for him, hopefully he can continue to make a living off of it for a couple more years.
  9. By the way, and I know it’s early but despite some people saying we struggled with the Jets Defense, James Cook is on pace for 1,400 yards rushing and 500 yards receiving , Coleman 1,100 yards, Palmer over 900 etc. A lot of that has to do with Allen but I’d hardly say that’s disappointing. This doesn’t include a slew of others who would be on pace for 500-700 yards as well
  10. Its 100% getting banned next year, I have zero doubt about it after the stink about illegal formations and false starting.
  11. Right thats not my argument though. The argument that I'm presenting is that the Bills don't invest in pass catchers. I think that's false. If you want to talk about specific examples or the manner they go about their investment than I am 100% in agreement with you. Would I like for them to draft a guy in 2nd-3rd round on a more consistent basis, sure you wont hear me put up a fight about that. It just seems the Bills, when they do invest, would rather get a "finished" product more than developing a guy. Why that is, I have no idea.
  12. I think its a pretty big misnomer that the Bills havent invested in pass catchers. If you want to say they haven't invested enough high round draft picks than I guess I can listen to that. I realize they haven't invested as much as say the defensive line but they have brought in guys. Free Agents: John Brown Cole Beasley Emmanuel Sanders Jamison Crowder Deonte Harty Mack Hollins Curtis Samuel Joshua Palmer Elijah Moore Draft: Dawson Knox (Round 3) Gabe Davis (Round 4) Isaiah Hodgins (Round 6) Marquez Stevenson (Round 6) Khalil Shakir (Round 5) Dalton Kincaid (Round 1) Justin Shorter(Round 5) Keon Coleman (Round 2) Kaden Prather (Round 7) Trade: Stefon Diggs (1st Rounder) Amari Cooper(3rd Rounder) There are obviously other players that the Bills have signed that I didn't include but these are the main names over Allens 8 years. Its hardly impressive and I'd say there have been a lot of misses on this list as well. I think where people get upset is that they haven't spent a first rounder on a WR in the draft while they have had Allen outside of drafting Kincaid, a TE. The Bills have invested in the Wide Receiver position but I think you can say they have spent more time in the veteran pass catcher market than they have in the draft market clearly. I just don't think you can say the Bills haven't "invested" they just haven't invested in the way fans and media want them too by spending high draft picks on the position. This also doesn't include the fact that they have drafted Dawkins, Brown and Torrence, and invested decent money in McGovern for his offensive line as well as multiple early to mid round running backs for the offense. I'm not defending Beane a ton as they have failed on the Defensive line a lot and people want that money reinvested in pass catching but its not their philosophy.
  13. The difference is that the trigger man in Chicago isn’t close to being as good as the trigger man in Detroit. Yes the Lions also have had a significantly better offensive line but the weapons are closer than people think even though the Lions hold the edge there as well. Defensively they are going to have good games and bad games that’s just how the NFL is now but they don’t have a QB whole lot of can win them a shootout
  14. I know statistically it hasn’t been eye popping so far but Dalton Kincaid had been great so far this season in all facets of his game. Looks like he had a chip on his shoulder after last season
  15. The Bills were also a dysfunctional mess at the time with their offense. Can’t say the same right now
  16. He looks like he enjoys playing here. I’m sure it helps were 2-0 hopefully he stays healthy. I thought he was one and done here but it wouldn’t surprise me if he stays healthy he might realize the most money isn’t the way to go and decides to stay for less money. Hes even said a couple of times how he feels like an old guy now in this league and seems he realized his football mortality
  17. Yea that’s actually the game I’m talking about my brain sometimes meshes games together so you were thinking the same game I was
  18. The Dolphins have had their most success against the Bills when they run TE seams, and in breaking routes between the LBs and Safeties that allows them to run after the catch. McDaniel has and is also very big into the screen game with his RBs. Very rarely have the Bills been beaten over the top by them. The playoff game where Tua had his most success was when McDaniel stuck to the run game, had success and used PA off of it. The Dolphins played that game about as perfect as they could that day and still lost
  19. Who’s it a trap game for? We play the Saints next week, arguably the worst team in football. If anything Im the Bills sitting here saying damn we beat these guys were 3-0 with two division wins, a tiebreaker over the Ravens and the Chiefs at 0-2. A home night game with a frantic crowd against a division rival who looks like they already want to give up on their season. Could we lose? Sure if we beat ourselves we can but there is a lot of Buffalo Bills Fan Derangement syndrome going on in this thread
  20. None anymore, moved out of state. Used to have seasons and did attend every game unless I hated the weather for the game
  21. Better team won tonight. Texans just aren’t very good. Might be looking at the Daniel Jones led Colts being the team out of the AFC South
  22. Tampa Bay is dominating this game but keeps shooting itself in the foot.
  23. Better hope so or we’re back in trouble and looking at a Spector reunion Yea I thought this too initially but the Bills would have to open up a 53 for him compared to just calling up Ciarlo and/or Jenkins for a couple weeks then hope that Milano comes back healthy. Sounds like it’s not super serious for Milano so not sure they want to IR him for 4 games
  24. Gonna see Jimmy Ciarlo getting the call up for a couple of games for ST reps. Shaq Thompson moves into the primary backup role
