  1. So the teaching for a wing position on Field Goal is to step down hard inside and then punch with the outside hand to detour the furthest rusher outside. It’s clear Walker got it in his head that he wasn’t going to allow #2 to get around the edge and forgot his teachings The inside is quite different , if you have ever noticed the interior players all have their feet crossed over the other to essentially create a wedge and to eliminate inside pressure. That’s why you rarely see someone coming up the middle on attempts besides when someone gets bowled over.
  2. Yup I said in another thread that everyone was celebrating after the kick and you can see Walker walking off the field what looks to be frustrated or angry. He knew he screwed up and almost cost the team the game. Hes gonna get chewed in ST meetings. Good news is it went through and I bet he won’t do it again now
  3. I was very high on him coming out of the draft and was one of my favorite picks this draft. Obviously I liked him more for his blocking but if he shows prowess in the passing game we may have gotten a true steal
  4. I agree with your point but they’re not going to change Dline personnel because of investment there and they have a lot invested in LB, the only place they’re going to change personnel is in the secondary. I mean their probably saying this a touch about us today too
  5. the middle of the field was also crushed in the passing game as well not just the alley run plays . I’m not saying Poyer or Hancock are saviors but if their not going to sign someone, which I don’t, think they are they need to improve significantly
  6. I think the quicker that Poyer and Hancock get up to speed the better it will be for this team in the long run. They’re not going to give up on Bishop this early but there is zero reason they can’t replace Rapp who was baddd last night. We need to be better but that Ravens offense is damn four and very hard to stop
  7. So I watched video of the celebration and Walker didn’t partake too much in celebrating with the team after it. I think he knew he screwed up and got lucky
  8. He had a great game . He was the # 1 WR tonight by far and played excellent. I might be being hard on all the Bills WRs but I’d like to see them catch more footballs in the structure of the offense verse in scramble drill but that’s kind of how Allen plays at times Hopefully he can stay healthy and keep it going
  9. I can’t remember the year and too lazy to look it up but the Bills weren’t projected to be very good and they went into Arrowhead with Alex Smith and absolutely dominated the Chiefs that Game. I was pumped watching that dominating performance Obviously the 31-0 game against the Pats for a home opener
  10. The thing I noticed was he was really lumbering and slow out there. Being small, injured, and slow isn’t a good recipe
  11. Yes this thought came into my mind as well after the game ended. We’re basically playing a watered down version of the Ravens next week. Zone, zone read, take some shots downfield, solid defensive personnel . It’s a Ravens replica just worse
  12. So rewatched the game winning kick and Deone Walker made a huge no no on the wing position leaving a gaping hole for Kyle Hamilton to go through. We were incredibly lucky he didn't block that. Almost a game blowing mistake by the rookie.
  13. Both are wrong, fan shouldn’t touch not one but two players and Lamar shouldn’t shove the fan.
  14. Game Balls: Allen Keon Coleman was the WR we hoped we drafted last year Dalton Kincaid Jackson Hawes(how bout that for the blocking TE) Ed Oliver Dorian Strong was solid for a rookie 6th rounder thrown into the grinder Thats about it for me
  15. My only concern is how far can Prater still kick it. Obviously he’s a pros pro and will make a lot of kicks withing 40 and still will be good within 45 I’m sure I just question in this stadium as his leg gets worn, that he can be relied on to kick a 50+ yarder in the wind and snow. I realize Bass is all over the place at times but we know he can make it from 55 if need be late in the season
  16. I don’t think the Texans are that good Stroud has been figured out in my opinion. it’s still Chiefs, Ravens, Bills. Yes the Bengals and Chargers are dangerous, and the Texans have talent and so do the Broncos.
  17. I will also say Bernard looks like he’s hurt still and not recovered from whatever. He looked like he was running in glue out there in addition to Rapp
  18. Its a great win, some players in defense stepped up against a great team but this defense is going to have to be better for us to win it all
  19. It’s like when we play you guys, you guys always seem to make the plays when it counts , same way with the Ravens against us, it’s so hard to explain because the Ravens are in my opinion, the most talented team in the NFL but they find ways to blow games against the Bills and others
  20. Tirico is a Syracuse university guy I believe so that’s not surprising
  21. Well I won’t be sleeping anytime soon. Huge win over a team and doesn’t guarantee anything obviously but the 1 seed implications for this game are massive
  22. Man Kyle Hamilton just missed that . I said in the thread the Bills are the Ravens krypronite how do we win that game
  23. I can’t believe we won that football game. The Bills are the Ravens kryptonite like the Chiefs are to the Bills
  24. We are so ***** soft and slow on defense. How can you have so many light guys on defense and be so ***** slow
  25. All that defensive investment and I see the same product
