  1. It’s like playing a game of who do you think is going to continue dropping. I keep going well I need this position but then I keep seeing a need that is maybe less but the player is far superior
  2. WITH THE 71ST PICK IN THE 2024 NFL DRAFT, THE ARIZONA CARDINALS SELECT: TREY BENSON RB FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY On the outside this is a head scratching selection but James Connor will be 29 this year and is on the last year of his contract when he’ll be 30 years old. The cardinals current backups are Deejay Dallas, Emari Demercado, and Michael Carter. Benson provides a strong downhill runner who can pass catch out of the backfield and is a solid pass blocker for someone coming out of college. He is a home run threat if he gets into the 2nd level. He will need to work on his vision and lowering his pads in the NFL but I compare him to a poor man’s Dalvin Cook. He will split with Conner and take 3rd down duties before Connor becomes a FA and becomes a workhorse for them in year 2 @Pasta Joe is on the clock
  3. WITH THE 66TH PICK IN THE 2024 NFL DRAFT, THE ARIZONA CARDINALS SELECT: BRALEN TRICE DE UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON The Cardinals leading sack guy last year had 6 and Trice possesses good qualities for a pass rusher in the 3rd round. He has a well developed repertoire of pass rush moves and hustles on every play to make up for his average athleticism. Trice could compete for a starting role right away on the Edge or at the very least be a rotational piece for the first year. @Alphadawg7 is on the clock
  4. I am ready to go after Mat. Wanted one of the DTs but knew it was a long shot to make it to 66. If this were a trade mock I probably would have tried jumping Buffalos pick for Fiske
  5. Seattle is also one of those teams who tends to do things that are not chalk in the first round.
  6. I think Javon Baker is still good value but it’s running thin for sure
  7. A lot of good DBs laying around this late in round 2.
  8. It’s not so much I didn’t like Sammy he was a great prospect but he was either a screen or deep shot guy. I have been wrong a lot but one of the reports I pride myself on was I called Hopkins the better prospect because he was a more complete WR who didn’t have the elite traits Watkins did
  9. Glad to see you take a look and see the same things I saw
  10. Thanks Capt wanna bet me that he goes before 128? 6’2 safeties with coverage skills that run 4.4 and jump 39 inches don’t last until the beginning of round 5
  11. @HappyDaysand Philly is on the clock
  12. I know its petty but we do not have a 7th rounder in 2025 we have another 6th. Boogie Basham was traded with our 7th for a 6th rounder.
  13. Hell compete with David Edwards at LG duties. RVD is Dawkins backup. Collins bumps out to RT if there is an injury to Brown
  14. I agree with you that it is much more highly likely they move into the teens than going all the way to 4,5, or 6. I think 9 is about as high as I can see them going for a sliding Odunze but see Brian Thomas as a much more likely scenario
  15. He was my other possible pick at 35. I really like him as a plug and play guy
  16. Im being very friendly. I guess I don’t understand what your catch is then. I took an inferior prospect in your opinion. You should be thrilled that I did it and at a position I already have to boot.
  17. I already took a DB. At 27 I took Terrion Arnold out of Alabama. The only other guy I considered was an IOL. It’s okay you’re mad you prob wanted him I’m guessing. My draft so far is arguably the best player in the draft in Harrison, arguably the top CB in the draft in Arnold and a raw project athletic freak. I’d say I’m doing just fine with how I’m drafting. Im sure if you told Cardinal fans they’d walk away with Marvin Harrison, Terrion Arnold and Xavier Legette they’d be jumping to the moon.
  18. Value brother value. They suck. Their roster sucks. They need a pass rusher and there are none with value. They need a DT that’s a reach, a LB to me is a reach. The only other area I could go is IOL which they def need but I can get guys later. It’s about talent gathering right now. Right now their starting WRs right now are Harrison(pending they take him), Michael Wilson and Greg Dortch. I guess I’d you think Wilson could be more down the line than that’s great but right now their WR and the rest of their roster sucks. They don’t need a starting tackle they have Paris Johnson and signed Jonah Williams. If Chop Robinson was there he’d be my pick. I’m not going to force a need at a lesser position.
  19. That’s my nice version of saying he’s a whiny overrated little B word
  20. First its a moot point because he's on a contract extension but I think there is some really good depth beyond the guys that GunnerBill pointed out already. Patrick Paul out of Houston, Kiran Amegadjie of Yale, and Roger Rosengarten of Washington(if you think he can stick out there) are all very good options. In my opinion there are other guys that go beyond this as well. I also really like Garrett Greenfield out of South Dakota State as a down the road type prospect.
  21. Benson looks like an animal and if you let him get going he will punish you. He has to get up to speed though and that is his main problem is his vision is average at best. He also runs extremely high for being built like a brick house. Wish he would lower his pads more but he does have breakaway ability and is a pretty good pass catcher out of the backfield.
  22. WITH THE 35TH PICK IN THE 2024 NFL DRAFT, THE ARIZONA CARDINALS SELECT: XAVIER LEGETTE WR UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH CAROLINA The Cardinals decide to double dip on WR first taking Harrison and following it up with the selection of Legette in Round 2. This has become an offensive league and the Cardinals have failed to invest in the WR room through the draft. They have lost DeAndre Hopkins, Rondale Moore, and Marquise Brown in the last couple of years and its time to restock the cupboard with young talent to see if Kyler Murray is the guy in the future. With the selection of Harrison in the first, this allows the Cardinals to bring along Legette and teach him the finer points of the position. There is no denying his physical attributes as a potential high end WR but will need time to be successful. Legette will start out as WR 3 and could eventually either push Michael Wilson to the bench, start in the slot, or move outside allowing Harrison to work in the inside. This one is for you Bills fans 😉 @Alphadawg7 is on the clock
  23. This is what I’ve been saying from the beginning as it pertains to not needing a traditional X. I understand the want for it but this is 2024 football not 1990 football. Cosell lays it out perfectly. Offenses use interchangeable parts that can play inside or outside and make a defense prepare for personnel and formations. This is why I said I expected Samuel to play outside with Diggs on the roster and he is definitely going to play more out there now. This is why I have been a huge McConkey guy. He’s a guy you can line up everywhere and find success and his strength is route running and getting open.
