  1. Well at least the Cowboys are improving before they host the Chiefs in a couple weeks
  2. Hey you all wanted a WR. I want to hear no complaining if they add Deebo Samuel.
  3. I’m actually surprised the Dolphins and Titans haven’t been more active in their self offs. Still some time but I was expecting those two teams to get rid of guys
  4. Mitchell has been absolutely awful for the Colts
  5. Tyree Wilson is an interesting thought for sure. He was and is a boom or bust guy but he might be a good Hoecht guy as well. A lot of potential there that hasn’t been realized but very very similar to Landon Jackson
  6. Yea it is interesting for sure but that WR corps isn’t very good right now even with BTJ. Just lost Hunter who’s been disappointing so far and their next best guys are Dyami Brown and Parker Washington
  7. Another name I would take a look at is David Onyemata from the Falcons. Small base salary, worked with Ryan Nielsen when he was their defensive coordinator. Seems to be getting fazed out a bit by the Falcons due to their youth movement. He is 32 and has been suspended twice for PEDS so maybe he’s up the Bills alley for cheap
  8. I agree with you but to me that’s not a bad thing. This team mostly to me needs depth at DT or LB. Wouldn’t mind seeing them add a DE if salary fit makes sense. I only expect one move if they do
  9. If the Bills make a move and that’s a big if, it will be for a guy that will highly disappoint most of the board I bet
  10. I’m not going to assume this is for a trade at all. The Bills have added guys to the active roster who are veterans over rookies(you have to pay them more even on minimum). Bills are about to IR Hoecht ending his season and will have to sign another player either to the practice squad or the active roster. 1.75 seems like a number to gain more space for operational budget
  11. I’d be surprised if the Bills were on the radar here.
  12. I think I said it earlier in the thread if you want another Hoecht then Kaden Elliss of the Falcons is your guy. He’s an impending free agent and think they would consider it for the right price
  13. I have stated numerous times I was a huge fan of the Hoecht signing even when everyone was like overpay or who the hell is this guy etc. Hecwas a great piece to that young pass rush with the Rams. I do wonder a bit if the Roids have a bit to do with the injury. Roids build good mass obviously but they also tighten them and make your muscles more tense. Just a small observation that I thought of when it happened
  14. I don’t know if the Chiefs are playing him too much or what but man he has a lot of lazy plays. The man knows how to make plays in crunch time for sure but he had so many plays where he just looked like he wasn’t interested
  15. I mentioned Eddie Goldman in another thread. Expiring contract, rotational NT, cheap and won’t cost much. Not going to move the needle but brings in an experienced body. I don’t think they would do it but i would call the Falcons about Kaden Elliss. If you’re looking for a guy who can play Hoecht role like Hoecht then he is your guy. Pending Free Agent, he’s 30 years old but he’s another hustle, strength, speed guy.
  16. See it’s funny , fans want the one seed as they should and all of these are obviously hypothetical with half a season to play. The Bills get the one seed and the Chiefs and Ravens don’t win their division. Then that means one of them would come to Buffalo in the divisional round. Like I said hypothetical as I still think the Ravens win their division but if we’re the one seed we don’t want to see the Chiefs as the 6 or 7. We want the easiest matchups possible
  17. I actually think the Dolphins won the trade. I always thought both Chubb and Phillips were highly overrated and Phillips is a free agent after this year. Maybe being in the Eagles org vs the Dolphins org will help . Def won’t hurt him but I’m sure he’s not thrilled he’s a Miami guy
  18. It was huge no doubt about it. I still want to see them put the hammer down on the Chiefs in the 2nd half. Spags does a great job against the Bills coming out of the half. Held the Bills to 7 2nd half points (10 if Prater makes the kick). The Bills defense was the reason they won in the 2nd half
  19. It will be interesting to see how many guys, if any, they move before the deadline on Tuesday. I don’t expect Waddle gone but you could see a bunch of defenders moved. Something to keep an eye on
  20. The Titans have already stated they aren’t trading him. Mute point
  21. For years I have begged the Bills to add speeed to their defense , particularly in the secondary and they finally after years listened. Bishop and Hairston are freaks athletically and Hancock is above average as well and you saw such a stark difference in this Gamecin comparison to others. Trust me what Hyde, Poyer, and White did for this organization establishing culture and using their brains were fantastic but they were never fast enough to stay with elite speed on offense. These kids can. They just need to commit to it now. The 3 youngsters should start in the secondary with Benford and Johnson when he’s healthy. Get them as many looks and reps as humanly possible to get them ready for the playoffs. My concern is on the DLine, we need to get these guys healthy and quick. Jones and Sanders need to be back ASAP
  22. I, of all people, will never write of the Chiefs but they better get it together cause the road isn’t easy still for them. They have the bye: Then it’s @ Broncos Colts @Dallas Texans Chargers @Titans Broncos @ Raiders Now obviously the Chiefs could easily run the table but there are challenging games. The Broncos at home have a chance to almost build an insurmountable gap between them in two weeks. The Colts, while overrated have been extremely good so far, Dallas offense plays like a tank at home and that could be a challenge, Texans have a great defense , then Herbert and the Chargers , then the Broncos again.
  23. I think Campbell would be a good fit but from what we know he doesn’t want to play in the cold. The titans have already told teams they’re not trading Jeffrey Simmons. So your back to talking about Sebastian Joseph Day (Titans) Eddie Goldman (Commanders) Jonathan Bullard (Saints) Guys that hardly move the needle but are veteran guys who have been around the block and upgrade over Phidarian Mathis etc
  24. I wonder if they do try Jackson now in that nascar role that Hoecht was playing with Solomon now. I mean at the point the Bills almost have to trade for a Defensive lineman . They’ll get Jones back and hopefully Sanders ups his game off IR
  25. Tre White would have had to have been the guy in man coverage on that play if they went that route. Not sure I want White running with Rice across the entire field
