It will be interesting to see how many guys, if any, they move before the deadline on Tuesday. I don’t expect Waddle gone but you could see a bunch of defenders moved. Something to keep an eye on

For years I have begged the Bills to add speeed to their defense , particularly in the secondary and they finally after years listened. Bishop and Hairston are freaks athletically and Hancock is above average as well and you saw such a stark difference in this Gamecin comparison to others. Trust me what Hyde, Poyer, and White did for this organization establishing culture and using their brains were fantastic but they were never fast enough to stay with elite speed on offense. These kids can. They just need to commit to it now. The 3 youngsters should start in the secondary with Benford and Johnson when he’s healthy. Get them as many looks and reps as humanly possible to get them ready for the playoffs. My concern is on the DLine, we need to get these guys healthy and quick. Jones and Sanders need to be back ASAP

I, of all people, will never write of the Chiefs but they better get it together cause the road isn’t easy still for them. They have the bye: Then it’s @ Broncos Colts @Dallas Texans Chargers @Titans Broncos @ Raiders Now obviously the Chiefs could easily run the table but there are challenging games. The Broncos at home have a chance to almost build an insurmountable gap between them in two weeks. The Colts, while overrated have been extremely good so far, Dallas offense plays like a tank at home and that could be a challenge, Texans have a great defense , then Herbert and the Chargers , then the Broncos again.

I think Campbell would be a good fit but from what we know he doesn’t want to play in the cold. The titans have already told teams they’re not trading Jeffrey Simmons. So your back to talking about Sebastian Joseph Day (Titans) Eddie Goldman (Commanders) Jonathan Bullard (Saints) Guys that hardly move the needle but are veteran guys who have been around the block and upgrade over Phidarian Mathis etc

I wonder if they do try Jackson now in that nascar role that Hoecht was playing with Solomon now. I mean at the point the Bills almost have to trade for a Defensive lineman . They’ll get Jones back and hopefully Sanders ups his game off IR

Tre White would have had to have been the guy in man coverage on that play if they went that route. Not sure I want White running with Rice across the entire field

What’s funny is on that 3rd down play to Rice in the flat that he knocked away if he wasn’t coming in like a piss missile he could have d caught that for a pick 6. Hell of a game from the Utah duo tonight

As for the 4th and 17, I said it in the game thread. That play was completely on Bernard. The Bills had a great call defensively and Kelce ran a seam route. I think it was Lewis on him but he was in Kelces hip pocket. Bernard for whatever reason felt he needed help and vacated his area to go double Kelce while Rice slipped right in behind him wide open for the first down. If Bernard stays put and gets more depth than there has to be a hell of a catch and throw there

I'm not saying not to enjoy this as it shows once again we are capable of being the best but we need to stop treating the regular season wins over the Chiefs like we won the Super Bowl. I will say this it is slightly different this year if only because the Denver Broncos are 7-2 and this drops the Chiefs 2 games behind them at 5-4. They do still play twice but if Denver can win that division its a whole new ball game for the Chiefs in the playoffs. Not only would they have to go to Buffalo but they would also have to go to Indianapolis or Baltimore/Pittsburgh in addition to Buffalo if they made it that far. The secondary is a big big improvement with the youngsters in there. We obviously saw what Cole Bishop is capable of, Max Hairston has been excellent in a limited sample so far in his two games and Jordan Hancock was playing down the stretch at safety next to Bishop. This group kind of reminds me of the young Eagles secondary last year. Hopefully we have enough pass rush to mimic that side of the Eagles defense in crunch time.

Its really unfortunate. You could see the drop in the nascar package when Hoecht went out and Solomon came in to play the same position. With that said, Solomon did get a couple of nice pressures towards the end of the game.

Allen took off the wrong way, if he took off left he had all day. Like I have been saying every time we play these guys you need to make plays in the clutch. The Chiefs do it, we have to do it to counteract that.

That big play by Rice was 100% on Bernard. He peeled off to double on the seam with Kelce when he was covered and left a huge hole for Rice right in behind him.

Honestly Bosa and Hoecht allow Rousseau to be the player he should be. A good base end who will get your 7-8 sacks a year while Hoecht and Bosa are the killers of the Quarterback. It also frees up Rousseau in one on one situations.

If its within one yard of the LOS its a legal play pick or not. Didn't see if it was or not to be honest though.

We are 100% trying to do as much as we can to shorten the game but we still have to have that killer instinct. I mentioned that Spags has typically controlled the Bills offense in quarter 3. We need to show we can overcome that .

There was always going to be one. He was basically a Linebacker in college but one with great athleticism. They banked on him developing that part of the game and he is definitely coming around. He honestly has been all season but I think Rapp made him look incredibly bad.

Every Chiefs game whether the Bills win or lose against them, Spags has made huge adjustments and slowed the Bills offense down in the 2nd half. I want to see the Bills show that they can adjust to what Spags does and continue their first half success. It will be the key to the rest of this football game.

This game is a prime example so far why you shouldn't crucify young Buffalo Bills players and want them thrown away after a season. Two guys, both from Utah, Dalton Kincaid and Cole Bishop were torched on this board at various times for months on end and they have been two of our biggest players today. Both are playing the game possessed out there.
