  1. Nope I disagree, if anything he has always been a grabby Cornerback who got away with it early in his career because he was a high pick in a big market and now the refs are calling him for the player he’s always been.
  2. Yes I agree , at least the Bills are wearing their frost ones so it makes color sense
  3. Pegula wants that Penn State white out
  4. Yes and I understand where your coming from but there are plenty of examples on this Bills team alone where guys who needed development have become at the very least good players after not playing much in their first year Bernard didn’t play at all, Shakir was non existent as a rookie, Epenesa was inactive half the season(I think he’s not a great player btw), Spencer Brown and Dalton Kincaid took 3 years to be who they are, Bishop is rapidly improving after looking like a lost puppy and injured as a rookie. At least for the Bills, Jackson not being active isn’t an indicator of being a bust. He would be active on game days but the Bills 4th DE, Javon Solomon, is on a lot of the Special teams units and that’s the difference right now in him being active or not
  5. Honestly looking at it just by the numbers, Ryan Stonehouse makes a lot of sense. Still young, was an all pro, had an injury but appears to have bounced back. Huge leg. I don’t know what his hang time and placement is like but he can kick it
  6. I thought about Ryan Allen but he’s working for the Patriots as a coach. The rest of the guys have low averages the last time they punted so there is a reason they’re not in the league anymore. Scoured the UFL averages this past year and former Syracuse Punter Sterling Hofrichter had the best combo of Average and Net and Brad Wing was the UFL punter All Pro for the league
  7. I think it’s clear that the Bills have zero intention of adding a highly priced WR who is going to demand the football not in the concept of the offense.
  8. When they signed Johnston, they also worked out Ryan Stonehouse and Matthew Hayball. If either of those guys kicked well, I would expect them to get picked up. If not we’ll be back into tryouts tomorrow to find another one
  9. I actually was on Ferguson a bit last year for his snaps being all over the place. This year I think he’s been better. When the Bills feel it’s time to move on they’ll move on from him. He’s made a nice career out of snapping a football
  10. Every week we get the Buffalo Bills football fan syndrome in this thread. I shake my head. Yes every game will be tough, if we play awful we will lose but every week it’s the Patriots will be ready, they have Diggs and Drake Maye has been decent and some defenders that can make a play or two ……but we have the best player in the world, we have a top 5 Running back in the NFL , a great offensive line, and a defense that creates big plays when needed. We’re at home. I expect us to win this isn’t pre 2019 here I mean eventually I guess the Bills will get caught by someone and you’ll be right
  11. Caleb Williams ain’t it. The Raiders and particularly Geno Smith literally tried to give them the football game over and over and he couldn’t take advantage of it. They won though in the end and again that’s what matters but if it wasn’t for the Titans I’d argue the Raiders are the worst team in the NFL right now
  12. Spencer Brown wasn’t even Spencer Brown until year 3. There were a lot of people looking for his replacement after season 2 especially with concerns about his back but his play was at best average I would say. I get at least he was on the field tho to your point
  13. This is from when he wrestled in Puerto Rico for WWE one time. This was his entrance. His pop was huge there granted that’s where he is from but it gives you an idea of his popularity internationally particularly Latin America
  14. This is why I hate some fans. These draft picks aren’t going to be instant stars right out of the draft. Kincaid was a 1st round pick, he’s now in year 3 and the lightbulb has finally turned on for him as a complete player. People want him to catch 10 passes a game but he’s making big catches at big times and he’s blocking his ass off. People wanted to throw Cole Bishop in the trash can already at the start of this season and yes he’s had struggles at times but you can see he’s steadily improving. If you watch the end zone shot of the INT his instincts. I think we’d all agree that Coleman has improved significantly in year 2 just doesn’t get the target share Give Jackson some time, he was a 3rd round pick, yes we hope every guy is a superstar that we draft but if Jackson becomes a rotational DE in the NFL for years that’s a success already
  15. I went back and looked at his averages in College and they were 42 yards on average, not including his net. That’s not gonna get it done in the NFL unless everyone of his punts is getting fair caught
  16. Most teams in the NFL can’t tackle now , just look around the league. Most teams, if they are practicing it are just drilling and thudding, their not taking people to the ground because their trying to stay healthy. The better athletes in the NFL now play offense in a league skewed to offense. It’s hard to stop other teams from scoring. The ball gets placed at the 35 yard line when kickers can now kick 55+ like it’s nothing. On paper I’m fine with what the Bills defense has done. They’ve given up 10,19, and 21 points in 3 of their 4 games. I think the annoyance like many others is the big chunks in the run game and the amount of other teams offenses stay in the field. The Ravens are a good football team. When healthy they are going to score points. The Chiefs seem to know how to stop them but not many teams are going to hold them down offensively unless injuries catch up to them. I think your hoping the return of two of your best defenses players , Hoecht replacing Epenesa, a steady veteran presence in Ogunjobi, and a healthy Hairston replacing a rapidly declining Tre White had to show at least some positive return
  17. I have been pleasantly surprised by him for sure. He still needs work but the flashes he’s displayed have been impressive
  18. Yea I don’t listen to his music but I know he’s huge right now in the music industry
  19. I also wanted to point out that T.J. Sanders had some nice penetration at times and he was the reason that A.J. Epenesa got his sack late in the game. Also would have had his first sack if not for the intentional grounding penalty
  20. We looked like a team that had too much of a good time with 10 days off. Its funny we have never lost with McDermott coming off of a bye but I have never thought we were particularly impressive in those games when coming off of the bye. I always feel like we're sloppy but always find a way to win in the end off of a bye and essentially thats what we were coming off of here.
  21. I thought he was at best average. I don’t think there is a huge difference at this point between Strong and White so in my opinion I’d rather see Strong getting the reps but McDermott is big on trust in the system and White has that but him getting pulled off for a bit was interesting to me. I can’t wait until this defense is healthy(if that’s possible) and not suspended to see just how good we can be on that side of the ball. I’m a big Hoecht fan and want to see how he’ll impact this defense with Bosa and a healthy Oliver/Milano/Hairston
  22. Cook Shakir Bernard Bishop Prater
  23. Its another game I expect the Bills to win. Maye did have quite a bit of success against us in Buffalo last year and looked impressive. Its another game that we need to get ahead and put pressure on the other team to be perfect. Vrabel with his Tennessee teams did give Allen a lot of trouble so hopefully he doesn't play evil genius on us.
  24. I’m not going to crown the Chiefs either. The Ravens play small in big games, with all the injuries, the Ravens could be in big trouble especially if Jackson’s hamstring holds him out and lingers the season. They are so reliant on Jackson’s legs being a threat when you take that away and his ability to extend plays the offense won’t be the same. The Texans will be interesting because they aren’t very good but the Texans o line will be facing a Ravens pass rush that isn’t good to begin with and now these injuries make them really bad. Toss in Jackson being compromised or out and the Ravens could be looking at 1-4
  25. Doesn't seem like its much but thats a nice little momentum swing for the Ravens there at the end of the half with the 6 point swing. Doesn't seem like a big deal but makes the game way more manageable for the Ravens.
