Bo Melton, WR, Rutgers and Isaiah Likely, TE, Coastal Carolina are two fellas I am hoping for.

Rd 2, Pick 63 (31): RB James Cook, Georgia
Dr. Who replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was very much about upgrading WR, so I agree with your general sentiment. I do think Cook is a nice pick who will impact the passing game. He is like a slot receiver coming out of the backfield. -
NFL Draft 2022 Second & Third Round Discussion Thread
Dr. Who replied to UKBillFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Isaiah Likely would be a great receiving option to add. They missed out on WRs worth taking. Yeah, he's a really nice fella. Too bad I have to root against him now . . . -
He's coming across as a very likeable dude. And if there's one thing you can trust McD on, it's coaching dbs to max out their talent.
-
Alright, a universal condition doesn't indicate not addressing depth issues on offense. A young IOL with potential, a speed wr with size, and a pass catching rb are all reasonable asks when the GM has said that he wants to support Josh Allen with actual players. Bandaid veteran Free Agents is not enough.
-
It's absurd arguing with someone who repeatedly makes moronic comments, but did you really just say that all teams are basically in the same boat to an offense that is reliant on a qb being their best rb, the best qb in the league under pressure, and constantly elevating mid-level talent? And if you want to be excellent, the target should be maximizing your elite qb by giving him more top level playmakers so when the multiplier factor of having said qb kicks in, the end result is superior.
-
We literally spent the bulk of FA dollars on Von Miller and then added across the DL. Crowder, oft injured OJ Howard, Duke Johnson and 34 year old coming off an injury Saffold on offense. We need playmakers and still need to bolster the oline.
-
Still some nice WR talent available in the second (Watson, Pierce, Moore, Pickens). I would include McBride at TE and Hall at RB as fellas that could help, but I am skeptical any of them make it to 57.
-
Hall and Walker are the only backs worth taking in the second. I like Cook in the third if we don't get one of the former. I think Walker could be there @ 57; I can't see Hall falling that far and we used our 4th to secure Elam so not sure what currency there is to move up with.
-
Fella lost his wheels about half way through the season. Not happening and shouldn't.
-
You mean SB favorites, but I can see the Freudian slip given our draft preference.
-
Very surprised if he falls that far.
-
Yeah, I hope that's all smoke and he does the opposite for a certain Alabama WR. If he goes the safe route and KC or NE goes up and grabs Jameson Williams, it will be a crying shame, because he's the exact piece to make Josh Allen unstoppable.

There are plenty of dopes, but there is also a fairly strong contingent of intelligent posters, some exceptional in the content they bring. That is less common relative to other boards, I think, but I am biased, of course.
-
Ken Walker gets the edge for possibly being available @57, imo.
-
You need to go visit the KC Chefs board for perspective.
-
I think Beane may trade up for Stingley or Jameson Williams if he can pull it off (the latter is my preference.) CB @ 25 makes a lot of sense, though. I've been rather hoping for Booth if that's the case. Obviously, I'll root for whoever is the pick. I'm guessing you are Florida fan, so I'll take your word for it.
-
Oh, well, I am Dawgs fan, love Davis, but that is not good asset management, imo. I would trade up for Jameson Williams, Sause or Stingley. DT you really shouldn't.
-
Jordan Davis is going way earlier than folks think. He's not getting close to 25.
-
Well, I'd use any combination of players and next year's draft capital to go get Jameson Williams. I think if we are reticent, someone like KC will swoop in and everyone is going to regret it for years. Among other things, I do not want to hear the media crowd gushing about the next Tyreek Hill and Mahomes. Give me Williams and Kenneth Walker @57, then go db and oline, sign a vet cb or trade for Bradberry, hopefully with some salary retained. IF we stick at 25, Hall may be the option that is most appealing. I sure as hell don't want that cb, Elam, and I'm starting to think there are more medical issues with Booth that are causing him to drop. (Alternative: include Poyer as part of compensation to move up for Williams, still trade for Bradberry. Poyer's salary helps offset Bradberry's -- then draft Cine in the second, James Cook in the third. (Yes, UGA bias, but it was a stacked team.) But then again, I still think you could trade back a bit and grab Hall. Pretty sure the draft needs to hurry up and happen so I can retain a semblance of sanity and get on with life . . .

Go listen to the first twenty minutes of today's NFL Live. Jameson Williams is well worth trading a late first rounder from 2023. If we don't, someone else (like KC) will.
