I still think a draft day trade for Bradberry may be part of the equation with the Gmen retaining some salary to make it work. Booth is the only CB that could be around @25 that I can stomach. I suspect Gunner is right about measurables that McD values at CB. McDuffie's arm length might be an issue. I personally want speed WR with some size and Oline help prioritized. I'd really like Jameson Williams. He's going too early even for a trade up imo. Christian Watson is intriguing. Folks who don't want him talk about drop rate, but a lot of that is low percentage throws. I agree with prudentially playing the board. I expect a few tactical trades in either direction.

If we want Breece Hall, we should trade back from 25, because you probably get him near the top of the second. I'm rather convinced Jameson Williams is going too early to even consider trading up for. I still like Olave, Watson, and Burks @25 or a small trade up, Booth, or Kenyon Green if he falls within trading distance. There might be a few others, but for the most part, I think this is a tactical draft. Trade up or stand pat for a few particular players, otherwise, trade down if there are takers.

This is tangential, but Edmunds' measurables also reinforce my belief we aren't taking a short-armed CB @25.

If Dahlin stays on the right side partnered with Mule, there's an opening for Johnson. Or you could see if Johnson is able to and amenable to playing on the right. He would really help solidify a blueline that could be dominant in a few years. Even an average goalie will have good stats once that happens. I think Levi is the best hope for the future in goal, though its magic eight ball mystery how goalies pan out. UPL could be okay sharing the load with a veteran. Take a gamble on Husso or throw money at Kuemper or Fleury. Anderson is a nice story, but time to ride into the sunset.

Ray Guy is the more relevant comparison . . . though maybe you're too young to know that fella. Araiza is worth a fifth round pick, imo.

I think you can have a high opinion of the FO and still be allowed to have rational disagreement, even strong disagreement. They've spent a lot of resources on DL, first and second rounders last year, Ed Oliver a few years back, made their big ticket purchase in FA on Von Miller, replaced numerous DT, brought back DL from previous seasons. CB, WR, IOL ought to be the top of the draft. There are other positions like S, even TE and RB later that make more sense than adding another DL player. And my trump card for this argument: Bobby Hart. Somewhere in the cerebral workings, there's a glitch.

Well, I live near Athens, so I am biased, but I think Cook is a shifty, skilled third down back. He's not just a speedy Brieda type, imo. I am not writing Moss off, btw, though I am skeptical he will stick.

Moss' spot is tenuous. Jones is exclusively a special teamer. Regardless, I doubt rb is on the table until maybe day 3. I'm hoping James Cook is there in the fourth.

IOL has to be an integral part of the draft strategy for it to plausibly be a sufficient effort.

A lot will depend on how the board plays out. Maybe they only need to move up to the middle of the round or they include a veteran in the package. My preference is still to grab Jameson Williams, Olave or even Christian Watson in the first (I presume Williams would require some kind of trade up.) I surmise db is likely @25, so working through scenarios -- if you go D in the first and wait till 57, you are definitely dropping to a lower tier. I'm not cool with it, though evidently many folks are.

If Bills go D @25 and then play let the draft come to them in the 2nd round, that is not a good sign, imo. They need to aggressively upgrade the offense, not to fill holes, which seems to be the default setting for a lot of folks, but to increase the skill set and versatility of the offense so that it becomes more potent and dangerous and less reliant on Josh Allen making extraordinary plays. In addition, we actually need depth at WR and IOL. I think you may still get an impact WR or a TE like McBride at the top of the second round . . . we should make sure we get one.

There are four wr and Green at g that I like in the first. Booth is a pick I can't argue with, but I would not pass on Jameson WIlliams to take him personally. I indicated upthread some second round receiving choices. Skyy Moore could be added, though I'd like a bigger receiving threat with speed. That is something Davis doesn't offer, though I think he is probably ready to step up to No. 2. (Obviously, the KC playoff game was exceptional, but he didn't see the field, disappeared for games earlier in the season. Could be coaching staff issue, I don't know.)

I'm not discounting Davis. We still need to add to the WR room, imo. If someone like Booth is the pick in the first, George Pickens or Trey McBride ought to be second round targets you trade up to secure.

Josh Allen takes a beating in order for the current Bills' offense to excel. You don't want that long term and you want to reduce the necessity for it in the playoffs. While anyone can see the cogency of Booth or maybe Hill in the first, the bulk of early round picks need to be used on offense, imo. Why not get a fella like Jameson Williams, though that probably means a trade up, or Christian Watson @25 to add a speed element to increase the stress the offense can put on the opposing defense. We should be so good that the opposing D is afraid, the way KC with Kelce and Hill allowed Mahomes to maximize his talent. The interior oline could use a Kenyon Green if he falls within a small trade up distance. In short, the default view that because of Josh Allen, we can continue to concentrate top picks on D is not sound.

UPL is probably Ullmark if he hits his ceiling. He's okay as a tandem, I suppose. Need to sign or trade for a veteran. Throw money at Fleury for a few years. I like Kuemper, but he is probably going to want longer term than you'd like and you'll have to overpay. Levi needs a few years to develop and maybe Portillo if he signs.

The stadium has been falling apart for twenty years. They've been putting band-aids on ad hoc. If they wanted a downtown stadium with all the expense of infrastructure and dealing with municipal politics, they could have done so. Orchard Park was always the favorite and there are good reasons for that.

It's like an especially bad April 1st joke. Why devote resources for that kind of payoff?

Josh Allen has a chance to end up No. 1, but right now, this is correct, even though some folks will be squeamish about it.

I like Breece Hall and Kenneth Walker III, but they are second round picks and I don't think rb merits that high an investment. James Cook somewhat later is who I like.
