Denver asked him to take a paycut and Martin said no. -

I think the institution of journalism has lost objectivity for a long time now. But in general, this is correct. -

Dorian Gray reference. Nice, and probably true. -

Yes, though the Titans appear to have two good punters. I would pay up to get the fella (probably Kern) that is let go. Unfortunate, but this is not a year to have subpar if there is a way to remedy a bad situation. -
Matt Araiza accused of rape, served with a lawsuit.

20 posts. Probably a troll/fan of another team. Regardless, wrong. -

I think this is perfectly stated. The fella who apparently started an account to crusade on this can reiterate ad nauseum. It won't change anything. -
I'm sure you're right, but the fella was just telling a joke.

I'm going to offer an egghead opinion that may seem risible in the context of a football discussion board. Nonetheless, Plato pointed out the way excellence tends to drift towards decadent imitation over time. It's sad that criteria lowers and becomes democratized when it comes to matters of elite excellence, but it's also nearly unavoidable as the testimony of millennia of generations and multiple civilizations attest.

I am not like any of those irrational types. If I change a shirt during a game or stop watching for a bit, it's not that I think my behavior has any effect on the game, it's just that I like to change my sartorial vibe several times a day on occasion, etc.

Good Night / Bad Night - Pre-season game 1
Dr. Who replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
GB gives a thorough, interesting write up and you give a thumbs down because of a quibble about Moss. Totally lacking in class, without even touching the matter of intellect. -
I was four years old. I'm still mad about it.

A rendering of OBJ signing.

That's a good point, though Beasley was vocal about it in a way that became controversial. I think the main reason is he got old, regressed a bit, and we had better options for the money at slot. I don't blame a fella for creating a narrative that preserves his sense of self-worth, though. I wish him well, personally.

7 Bills players that are trending up and down (per Joe B)
Dr. Who replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have a hazy memory of reading that in the wake of the KC defensive debacle in the playoffs, it was determined that we needed a cb with greater athleticism, speed, and the capacity to play man. The fellas we had out there when White went down could only handle very limited scheme specific roles and it made our defense more predictable. If that recollection is correct, it implies cb was considered a need. The urgency for Elam may have been he was the last cb with a round one grade, though I am just speculating.
