  1. I have zero confidence that McD and Frazier are going to change their philosophy. The best I am hoping is that the FO feels enough heat that they truly devote most of the draft and limited fa assets to improving the oline and helping Josh out. Josh and Dorsey also need to get together and decide who is going to be the grown up in the room. I hate this feeling that we are wasting prime years of the franchise qb we waited a generation for to replace Kelly.
  2. Well, alright, if they are putting them on the rack and telling them "or else" I'll take that as an acceptable alternative.
  3. The oline is a consensus top need across the board. Let's hope we have the resources to get it done. I think there has to be a willingness to sacrifice some pieces on D to make sure you can invest properly.
  4. It's definitely Val Kilmer's Doc Holiday. He posts occasionally on another site and uses the same avatar.
  5. That judgment is probably largely based on post-season success. Let's see what Josh can do with a genuinely solid oline and an innovative offensive mind calling the plays. I think he's every bit as good as Mahomes, though he falls into some bad habits when he is asked to carry the team with a porous oline and decent, but not exceptional weapons (outside of Diggs) at his disposal.
  6. This is the best case scenario. And this is the most likely case.
  7. It's a ridiculous standard in a sport where multiple and accruing injuries is the norm. A D that requires near perfect conditions to thrive is analogously close to the talented player that is rarely available because he is frequently hurt.
  8. He needs to elevate the level of his players on D and not demand the best picks and bulk of free agency support his side of the ball. That's the only compensation for going against the trend that is successful in the current NFL, offensive coaches as HC.
  9. Our lines are soft, the Oline is fair on a good day, bad most often. The coaching scheme on D is tired and gets exploited against top-tier teams in the playoffs. We need to add a real #2 to the Wr room. Changes in approach and personnel are needed. I don't think it's an insurmountable gap, but I don't see any indication of urgency in the FO and it will be difficult with the cap minimizing FA resources and picking at the back end of the draft.
  10. And now you know what it felt like to watch the Brady led Pats** get the helpful call for over a decade. NFL transferred the mantle to Mahomes and the Chiefs.
  11. Turns out the first round bye is a thing, but if you're the Bills and can't play well in snow, that's a problem.
  12. You left out Jaws, To Russia With Love, and A Man for All Seasons. He was indeed an underrated and very good actor.
  13. I'm rooting for the Buffalo Sabres.
  14. You're probably right. I live near Athens. I not totally objective . . .
  15. Slightly tangential, but related. Do you have any early views on Darnell Washington? I think he would be a perfect TE#2 and really help the oline.
  16. I hope you're right, because that seems like the path we are going to take. I am with those who want a change. I'd prefer a more aggressive defensive approach. Regardless, more than anything, I hope OBD got the message that oline and offense needs to be the priority this offseason.
  17. He would help the oline year one.
  18. Didn't notice that much till later in the year. Could be wrong, I'm not a numbers guy. Just trying to see how one could creatively solve the slot position, The best thing would be for Shakir to make a second-year leap.
  19. If you add an outside wr with speed and size, you could play Diggs in the slot enough to be a factor in the opposing defense gameplanning.
  20. It's the Fire Everybody game, even if it's overreaction and won't happen.
  21. Throwback blues with the standing buffalo are the best uni in the league. Folks are entitled to disagree, of course. You want to be wrong, that's on you.
  22. Still provides excellent content under a different user name.
  23. You really can't win with that fella. He's like a Leslie Frazier defense in the playoffs.
  24. HOUSE has that one mastered. It is in the Lost and Found. It is always lost when you ask for money, but found when the situation is reversed.
