  1. Happy Birthday. You're a year older and your team sucks. Sorry, I'm all out of
  2. Yes, that was more a gesture towards maybe an offensive minded coach. Maybe Ben Johnson with the Lions? Volpone is pretty funny as well.
  3. I'm intrigued by Ben Johnson, but can anyone see Pegula making a change at HC? It won't happen, so the best feasible outcome is changing coordinators. At minimum, we need to bring in someone less conservative and reactive to run the D.
  4. And shortly after Romo was singing his praises, the score was 14 - 0. We need to build a bully oline, add a wr threat, and adopt a much more aggressive mindset on D.
  5. No, I'm not arguing for that, though if Josh Allen doesn't start winning playoff games, their tenure will rightly be on a hot seat.
  6. I'm not either. I can't multitask and so I'd have to stop typing to accomplish all that. I don't see it as childish to want accountability. I already pointed out the constraints of roster change. The most direct path to change is different strategies on O and D. Maybe Dorsey matures and becomes better. No chance Fraser does anything new.
  7. If you're satisfied with where the franchise is right now, that's your prerogative. I think it's an abolute dereliction if they basically stand pat. They'll have to cut folks to be a player in FA. There is only so much you can accomplish in a single draft. So, I believe coaching philosophy needs to change. They've got a good system for winning the regular season. They flame out in the playoffs unless Josh Allen is literally close to perfect. Not good enough, that's my prerogative.
  8. I have not forgotten about the drought. I am old. I remember when OJ Simpson was used as a decoy. Here's the bottom line: you play to win the SB. The point of reaching the playoffs is to win in them. Making them to lose, often in embarrasing fashion is just an exercise in masochism. We are wasting the early prime years of a HOF level qb. Now Josh has to watch Mahomes, Burrow, Hurts, and a rookie last pick in the draft compete for a championship. You establish long-term legacy by what you do in the playoffs. If there's any self-awareness, Terry Pegula makes changes now, not waiting for another year of regular season success and post-season failure.
  9. Demanding a trade is foolish and won't happen. Expressing deep concern and demanding accountability is right. Josh is a legacy qb, but you only get the rewards with playoff success. The current team and coaching philosophy leaves a lot to be desired to make that happen.
  10. You need to take the reverse out of your screen name.
  11. I really wish we could be in on the Sean Payton sweepstakes.
  12. We need to improve the oline. Mahomes has one of the best. Ours is average on a good day.
  13. Damn, neither am I.
  14. Talking heads keep saying he's the new Brady. He might really be the new Namath, but maybe you have to be old to see it.
  15. Strategy appears to be look like you're disjointed and not getting the offense to purr, all the while you are subtly killing the enemy.
  16. For years after Kelly we had qbs who routinely threw passes just like the one Kirk Cousins ended the Giants' game with. For years, when Bills faced a third and long, hell, third and medium, you knew the punter was already warming up. We now have the best team in the league converting third down. You are never out of a game with Josh Allen. Three losses this year by a combined eight points. We generally have to play bad and get bad breaks just to put ourselves in a position to lose. Josh Allen is that good. Greg Cossell who is no dummy has said numerous times, often to media personalities that don't want to hear it, that Allen is the most gifted qb to ever suit up in the NFL. He's also the single most fun player to watch, even though the paid pundits will continue to favor Mahomes and are lining up Burrow as second choice of the fella they want to gush over.
  17. Well, I have my issues with the Novum Organum, but full props for apt reference going back four centuries.
  18. Alright, yes I understand . . . it's still a factor overall if everything else remains a tie. We have differing sensibilities on this. The matter is trivial. If you wish to call that whining, that's your prerogative.
  19. I understand its a rotation. I also understand that we have won there. It still ticks me off that the regular season game is over there. If this were not a window where the Bills are SB contenders and the #1 seed is in play, of course, no one would care. Naturally, if one posits a win, the consequences are only good. However, maybe you think it wouldn't matter if the AFCCG was at Arrowhead. I'm glad it's not.
  20. Yes, this doesn't really bother me. Certainly not as much as the mystical rotation that ends up with the Bills at Arrowhead every damn season. (I know that is technically hyperbole.)
  21. I think the difference is the Bengals' beat up oline and Buffalo home field advantage. Bengals D isn't nearly as good on the road, btw.
  22. Yes, I take your point. I'm going to give it a try, though I am actually too lazy to put anyone on ignore just now. I'll just wait until someone annoys me and enjoy zapping them.
  23. They think it's a joke, not having been to the KFC in Marietta, GA.
  24. There might be something to the notion that Daboll could be a father figure and Dorsey is more a big brother that Josh is less inclined to take criticism from. I dunno, but someone needs to get Josh clear on this. It seemed to me last year's playoffs he was much more open to taking the underneath routes.
  25. I kind of felt ethically compelled not to censor folks since I don't like it when I am erased for various reasons, but I take your point and free speech really should only apply to ideas and not intentional black magic.
