Tua ruled out vs Buffalo, Skylar Thompson expected to start
Dr. Who replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Do you really think Josh Allen and the Bills are going to take a one-and-done playoff game against anybody lightly? There are no trap games in that scenario, no matter who is playing qb for the other side. -
Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?
Dr. Who replied to NeverOutNick's topic in The Stadium Wall
If you go upthread, that was my original point. As far as Saffold and painless, I really only meant cutting him is not a problem based on his level of play. I also assume an early round draft pick will be spent on IOL. It certainly should be. -

Kirk was expensive. I may recollect amiss, but I believe Josh tried to recruit him. Fella didn't want to play in cold weather, or his wife/girlfriend didn't want to live in Blo. -

Alright, I'll grant there's probably multiple ways to do it. Void Saffold is painless. Poyer, I'd rather find a way to keep, but I'm guessing he's gone. -

Well, I like Edmunds better than many here. Maybe he's too expensive to keep. I understand LB is one of those positons like RB where you often cycle after the first contract. OP, I surmise [Vague title] is a euphemism for "no damn title at all." It can't be that hard to write "Bills should go get Hopkins" or some such. -

I can't see how you add Hopkins even if he restructures his contract. If there's no salary cap consideration, of course, that would be a different matter. -

Correct. You want someone who is ready to ascend to #1 as Diggs descends into dependable #2. -
Blue over white is the best combo, but the team has confidence in the monochrome look. I'm one of those fellas who prefers the throwback blue and standing buffalo helmet, yet just as there is an undeniable irrational reaction against the white over blue because we seem to struggle in them, there is a positive vibe in the all blues.

You implicitly corrected to "this team has (to) figure out how to win," but from the context of the whole, the post intends "this team has figure(d) out how to win, even if it's ugly."

I live near Athens. Were I not a lifelong UGA fan, I would be rooting for TCU. They are a fun team and easy to like. Nonetheless, I don't see them ultimately being competitive. It may be close for a while, but I think Georgia ends up covering.

Enough of this, really. Time to look forward to the task at hand.

AFC: KC Buffalo Cincy NFC: SF Philadelphia Top three in AFC are close. I actually like the Bills -- they've weathered an almost unbelievable sequence of injury, weather, and trauma. All of their losses were close and could easily have been wins. I think Josh's arm is nearly or back to unimpaired by injury. KC gets the edge because of the bye. (Man, I hate that team.) SF appears the strongest team in the NFC, but it's hard to imagine a rookie 7th round pick not struggling at some point in the playoffs.

Damar's first question was "did we win?" Bills are going to take it to the Pats.
-
Well done, I did.

Emoji if you intend early round pick at cb.

He might not be, but a number of folks opined that he was too inconsistent to be considered a solid #2 before the season. At the time, they were frequently ridiculed, but I think the season has proven them correct. Davis makes plays, but disappears for long stretches and gets the dropsies at times. Some of that may be injury related. He may have a problem staying healthy. I would not pay him #2 money. We need a better, more talented outside wr if we want to maximize Josh Allen and compete with the best offenses in the game. Of course, we also really need to upgrade Oline.

That's articulate, but I continue to think that dealing with a truly life-and-death situation is qualitatively different from a serious injury that may end a season, but not a life. I think it is callous to expect folks to disregard the mortality of a beloved brother and friend and play ball. This isn't war, even if that is a common metaphor. Prudential decisions take account for unprecedented or unusual circumstances,

Damn, what do you have to do for the Pats* to suspend you, refuse to cheat?

Some folks who post here are even hoping for it. Shabby creatures, those trolls. Nonetheless, there's a small chance the Raiders play spoiler. If KC can struggle against the Broncos, they can have a close one with the Raiders.

Updated scenario for scheduling to be voted on Friday
Dr. Who replied to The 9 Isles's topic in The Stadium Wall
While I think this is true, there are also a lot of casual/neutral fans who are going to adopt the Bills for this playoff run.
