I flew back to the States a couple years ago for our 30th reunion. It was a blast! I haven't seen many of my old friends for that whole time, but we picked up right where we left off. I disagree. If you watch both responses, you can easily see the humility come through from Josh Allen, while Josh Rosen came across as a self-entitled arrogant prick. It was a true eye opener for me, and I knew instantly that Beane picked the "right Josh".

It's not much of a "little" town anymore. I lived there from 1990 to 2000. Went to school there, met my wife (a local) and got married and had our son there. The last time I visited there was 4 years ago, and I could not believe how much it changed. Old familiar areas of town where we lived now looked completely different. One of my friends told me that, at the time, there were 1,000 a day moving into Colorado. 1,000 a day! When I asked him why, he said it was mostly due to the new cannabis laws. Yikes! Anyway... I could be in the minority, but I think the whole idea that Josh and his former Cowpoke teammates having important chemistry together is way overblown. Look at how fast he and Diggs developed chemistry. These guys are professionals, and Josh is 3 years removed from Laramie. Plus, I went to Colorado State, so the fewer Wyoming players the better! I truly honestly believe that Josh could become one of the best QBs to ever play the game. He showed glimpses of that last season. I've also only referred to Sugar High Josh in the past tense. That said, completely dismissing the affect that playing in an empty stadium vs a full rocking one is simply ignorant, especially when considering we're talking about a young, developing player. I personally think last year, without fans was the best thing to possibly happen to his development and have faith that, this year, he's going to take the next steps towards greatness. You don't see where it could make a difference? How about the fact there weren't many examples of "sugar-high" Josh last year? No crowds, no hype. I'm not saying that this was 100% the reason, just saying that it most certainly could have contributed.
