  1. So our old GM traded down to get an extra pick and picked Kiko, who could have been DROY, then traded him after he blew out his knee for Shady McCoy? That last GM sucked! and Kiko has been overrated since after game 5 of his Rookie season.
  2. Still would have rather not traded up and just taken JuJu. But Zay is certainly becoming a solid player. He doesn’t have the speed to be a number one but he certainly has shown he is a starter in the league. props to him rebounding after an awful start. Confidence is a wonderful thing.
  3. Well said. I was very skeptical of Allen. I’m fact, I hated the pick. He certainly is a lot fast than I thought and has shown some great flashes. But I’m sorry that I’m not ready to put our qb with a 66 QB rating on the Wall yet. But yesterday was actually a fun a fun game for a change. So that’s a start. You need to roll with better people then. Next, you’ll be saying you hate loganberry and like boneless wings.
  4. Literally the worst take in the history of this board. You should be banned and deported.
  5. But it isn’t. He literally has never been like a 55% passer his whole career. It matters whether you think so or not. Those 5 passes missed can be the difference between Ws and Ls. In todays nfl, if you aren’t a 60% passer, you aren’t a starting level qb. Allen is a Rookie on a bad offense so he gets pass. But it needs to get better.
  6. What? If Allen had Cam Newton’s resume out of college, I’d be all in. Sorry, hard to be all in on a 56% passer from the MWC right away. allen is certainly showing flashes but so do a lot of guys. Hopefully with better players around him, he will be a more consistent player next year.
  7. And it’s official. The BB curse is now on Allen. ?
  8. Allen was very exciting yesterday but how was he better than Rivers putting up 300+ and 2tds on a 7-3 team? PFF is kinda silly.
  9. But John, looking at Allen’s career as whole, in college or the pros, he has struggled being accurate. It’s just a fact. I didn’t want him to play right away but he got forced in there. We are trying to limit the amount of times he passes. Ive never once questioned his physical skill but he has a lot to work to do as a passer. And it’s just about consistency. Brees is just consistent. Allen has some work to do in that area.
  10. I feel like Allen is going to get the Tyrod gameplan. Keep him in the pocket and force him to beat you with his arm. Hopefully, he is able to do it more consistently than TT.
  11. Not to make light of the situation but I hope she was at least wicked hot.
  12. Why are you so angry about this? You want great qbs do, they raise up their receivers. Our wrs sucks but our qbs did not raise them up. Allen will be given more weapons next year but sorry John. He is kinda of an inaccurate qb and our game plan is to try and hide that as much as possible. Well Oklahoma didn’t recruit because he completed 49% of his passes in junior college. http://www.cccaasports.org/sports/fball/2014-15/players/joshuaallen0oal its not hating on him, it’s reality. He has every physical tool but he needs to improve his accuracy and mechanics.
  13. I mean, that’s kinda the point. I get people want to hype our guy but some of you act like Allen is the only qb to have a receiver drop a pass. He’s never been an accurate qb and is currently at 52%. It is what it is. He is definitely faster and more agile than I thought. But he is the same erratic passer whose team is limiting the amount of time he throws. He needs to improve as a pocket passer because as great as the runs are, they will take their toll. Right now the game plan it to keep Allen in the pocket and make him beat you with his arm. Hopefully one day, he will be able too.
  14. No what I’m sick of? Having to settle because we’re Bills fans. Guess what sucks? Averaging 14.6 points in a league that wants you to score. If you eliminate our high score (41) and low (0) this year, we are averaging 13 points a game. That is terrible. i don’t doubt how hard BD works or his knowledge of football. If he was a newest OC, I’d give him a pass. But read his resume? What’s more likely? He suddenly has a great offense or it’s bottom 5 of the nfl, like it has been everywhere he’s been the OC. Do people not think he had a huge say in the quarterback position and offensive personnel? All I heard is he can’t be worse than Dennison was. Well guess what? They have been historically bad in the highest scoring period in nfl history. SM won’t fire him because he would look terrible with 3 OCs in 3 years. But how did keep Mularkey last year work out for Mariota? How about Dirk for Winston ? How about all those bad coordinators we kept over the last 18 years? I hope I’m wrong and Daboll suddenly because Andy Reid. But we did not watch a nfl offense this season and it’s ok to want better. Even as a Bills fan.
  15. The JuJu/ Zay thing is terrible. JuJu is a top 10 receiver in the nfl. to be completely fair, receiver is such a dependent position. However, I was a huge JuJu fan in college and knew he’d be a stud wherever. But it’s like the Sammy trade up. He was about as good of a receiver as I’ve seen in college. If Sammy was picked by a different team with better Qbs and ObJ ended in Buffalo, perhaps their careers are completely different. But that is just another reason not to trade up for dependent positions. I’d argue that linebacker is a dependent position. However if you find an elite one, they are super valuable. We need Edmunds to be elite.
  16. I really like Edmunds but your homer side is coming out when you say wayyy better.
  17. Personally, I wish people would be consistent. We’re all Bills fans and want the best for this team. But one of the weakest points of the Whaley regime was trade ups. Basically, it rarely works out when you trade up. Even though Allen was not the qb I wanted, they get a pass because it’s a qb. And I really like Edmunds but he has to be an all pro type player to justify the trade up with how VE and Leonard of the colts are playing. It’s the same thing with Trading up with Zay and JuJu and Cooper Kupp. dear future Bills GMs (hopefully I’ll talking to myself ), trading up will probably look stupid one day so don’t do it.
  18. It’s phoniness of it and hypocritical nature of it. Some people get more upset about a protest than they ever did about domestic violence. Some people tout family values while their teenage daughter is getting knocked up and their son beats up their dad. Im far from perfect but I would never tolerate a man who hits a women or child or justify them being on a team I like. And I most certainly wouldn’t get more mad about CK or dudes protesting than I would about Foster and Mixon. I do think McDermott goes a bit overboard with the character stuff but I’d like to think we would never entertain bringing trash like this to the Bills. Are you 12? That sucky qb is better than your hero Kyle (slide coward) and has a fair superior career than any qb on the Bills roster. And i I started a thread about Mixon in college and how he was a trash human being. But keep defending women beaters. You are a true patriot and hero!!!
  19. Yeah dude. It was totally on the same level as the Kaepernick noise by those “true patriots.” Of course, I’m not shocked that a guy with a name of one of the biggest cowards in Bills history would try to rationalize cowards who hit women. NFL = beat women ?, silent protest ?
  20. This stupid narrative again. Just be honest and say you don’t like CK’s politics instead of just making up things. He had a 16 td to 4 int ratio, a 90 qb rating, nearly 500 yards rushing on a team where Jeremy Kerley was their best receiver. People are anointing Josh Allen as a franchise savior with a 63 QBs rating. Imagine if Josh Allen had CK’s terrible td to int ratio of 4 to 1? We would have him making the hall of fame. if you say CK sucked his last year, your agenda is very clear and you’re a liar. I mean he’s not on Brandon Weeden or Tom Savage’s level but still. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/early-lead/wp/2016/12/16/the-video-of-oklahoma-rb-joe-mixon-punching-a-female-student-is-now-public/?utm_term=.097704c50d43 second round pick. Zero threats to boycott the nfl. If that bothers you less than a dude taking a knee quietly, you are part of the problem in this country. I irrationally love the Bills but if they ever drafted Mixon or signed these scums, that would be it for me. It’s pathetic what some people do to rationalize “their” team to win.
  21. If only he beat a woman and was as good as Tom Savage! You don’t see how this looks bad, though? We give due process for women beaters but not a guy who silently protested? and say there’s a small chance Foster, who’s had issues since high school, is innocent? Explain Joe Mixon. Where were the owners/ league on that? Where were the fans threatening to boycott the league if he got drafted? How about the Giants kicker who played for a year while there were numerous domestic violence charges? imo, football is the greatest sport invented. But the nfl is run by scumbags with a lot of double standards and the fans allow it.
  22. This stuff is why I kinda hated him. At the same time, it’s this type of little man chip on his shoulder stuff that has probably gotten him this far. I bet he’s going to mouth to wrong person one of these days. That said, he is a pretty good young qb.
  23. Overall, I agree. But these guy has had issues since high school. Also, this was a big point of the CK protest. “Foster is a good guy and never beat me.” - Vernon Davis
