  1. It’s domino effect. The oline looks worse because defenses don’t respect our WRs so they can blitz more and play for man without the fear of getting beat by it. it’s strange to say but the lack of skill at receiver affects the o line,
  2. Need a Ken Dorsey apology thread. He’s been an OC at Carolina. That excuse doesn’t fly. I do think he is hampered by lack of talent at the receiver position.
  3. He could be struggling with turf toe, which is terrible for WRs. also, are we sure he’s even good??? He isn’t a natural wr and was a gadget guy in college. He averages 35.7 ypc receiving for his career so it’s not like he’s been exactly lighting it up. I think this is what is happening to Mahomes. We think that because our qb is so good, they can elevate anyone. So we settle for these journeymen types and then halfway through the season, we realize they are very mid. I think Samuel is better than that but I personally would have rather drafted another receiver than pay a guy averages 600/ ypy $8 million. that said, they should try to use him more out of the backfield and more designed runs from the slot, I don’t think it’s that simple. Brady was also the OC that Samuel had his best season of his career with Teddy Bridgewater.
  4. It’s the Bills’ fault for even tricking themselves into Hollins being a “starting” receiver in the first place. Great dude and STer, but there’s a reason he has never played a lot as a receiver. also, the lack of a deep ball for the last few years with a guy like Allen’s arm is pretty tough to see. Russell Wilson doesn’t have close to the same arm strength but was a great deep ball passer. There is no world where Josh Allen should be a dink and dunk qb.
  5. Great dude, feel awful about his brother, one of the worst contracts in the nfl.
  6. Respectfully and obviously I’m not Adams (unfortunately 😞) but there were a bunch of factors: his college qb, Rodgers leaving GB, close to his hometown than just I want to be in Vegas.
  7. Eh, I bet you can find bad stretches for every really good offensive coach (Reid, McVey, Shananah, etc.) like hopefully MM is terrible but how coaches would be thriving in Miami’s circumstances? Honestly, it might be scary if he gets to pick a new qb with more physical skills than Tua next year (really weak qb draft though).
  8. 2 coach of the years with 2 different QBs clearly demonstrates lack of control of his roster. https://arrowheadguys.com/should-the-chiefs-fire-andy-reid/#google_vignette
  9. I’d be fine with it (not sure Seattle would move him). But he does get emotional and takes some super dumb penalties. I think he’s gotten himself ejected a few times as well.
  10. Not saying he’s going to be HOF player and scumbag Hill but he is actually off to a better start to his career than Tyreek. let’s just hope they were right on Coleman. Worthy might not be the best fit for us but man, we could badly use his type of speed in our receiving core.
  11. She sounds cute. Pics?
  12. Something about DK annoys me 😆 He seems to do a lot of dumb things in games. I will freely admit that I didn’t love him in the draft (liked AJ brown better and he is the better player). But he is a beast. I don’t think that really makes your point since he had his friends and it was close to his hometown. trust me, I’m not saying it doesn’t happen. But I think it happens way less in the NFL than most leagues. also, as I’ve grown older and don’t need the Vegas/ LA life every night, do we even really want players who have that mindset? Adams is a family man so he actually might like WNY minus the weather (which does suck but if global warming is real might be Virginia soon).
  13. Don’t take the lords name in vain! but I apologize for saying the truth. Yes without a concussion, the nfls leading passer last year would not be out of the nfl in 2 years.
  14. Couldn’t disagree more Dave. Maybe it matters to Davante but if this was the case, I miss where all the LA, Vegas, Miami, SD before they left got all the FAs and were dominating. For the most part, the Bills really havent struggled to get FAs. NE, GB, Pittsburgh, Cincy, Minnesota are all teams that regularly are playoff teams. Then throw in Cali taxes (and I love Cali), I think it’s way less popular with players than you think. I think players look at the following in order: 1 - money 2 - winning (and qb) 3 - location. It’s 2024 and players can be stars anywhere. Also, they play like 4 months a year in place and can take off when they have breaks.
  15. Good points but I think we get hung up on draft picks sometimes. I would say for his strengths, Beane and company are weakest at drafting WRs and DEs. So if it took a 1st, which would almost be a 2nd, for one of the best ones in the league, I think you really have to think about it. It’s one thing if you’re the panthers but we have SB dreams. I also like the talent of Watson but he’s made of glass.
  16. KS has been coach of the year twice and went to the playoffs with Joe Flacco last year. I guess I’m not getting what you think a great leader is as a nfl coach now. Reid literally had Taylor Swift’s boyfriend shove him in the SB and has a team that gets in legal trouble all the time (including his son coach). I would argue that doesn’t make for great leadership. I think the days of Belichick (who was awful at the end) are kinda done. I used to think college was where the coaches get to be dictators but I don’t even know if that’s the case anymore with NIL and transfers. I think the MM is going to be the archetype of coaches going forward. Well Tua won’t be out of the league if he didn’t have that concussion.
  17. Agree 100%. It’s an all in move. Would you give up a 1st? I would.
  18. I think a lot of offensive coaches are like that though. Does anyone think Zac Taylor or Kevin Stefanski are great leaders? Also, I don’t know if Reid is known as a great leader or disciplinarian. He just has great schemes and doesn’t micromanage his talent. He made Tua into the leading passer in the nfl for one. I think he is one of the best offensive coaches in the nfl.
  19. This early season victory lap threads always turn out great. hopefully we can bump this after he makes a huge play in a playoff game.
  20. I remember when we tried to trade for crazy AB and he didn’t want to play with 2nd year Allen. if you are a receiver who doesn’t want to play with Allen over Carr (Rodgers is kinda washed but I get that more), you are flat out insane.
  21. Worst FA signing in Bills history. Dude just runs around the edge 10 times a game. put Mack Hollins at DE. He has the size and probably could make as much of an impact there as he does at receiver.
  22. You’re happy that Tua got a concussion? bad mojo.
  23. 100+ pages here we come!!! and for a good guy who doesn’t get in trouble, he’s kinda of annoying. He forced his way out in GB, got a huge contract, and has just moped the entire time. I know the Raiders are a joke but this whole “I’m the only one who wants to win” (see Diggs, Stefon) would oiss me off if I was a teammate. that said, I would take him in a second and even offer a 1st. He’s exactly what we need.
  24. I mean how else was this poll going to go on a Bills board? 😆 I think they both have big games and Diggs the player (not the attitude) is a big loss for us (we have a bunch of 3s and 4s who would be so much better in different roles). But instead of making it a contest better a qb and a wr, this is a monster game. We beat teams with a combined 2-10 record and got stomped by the Ravens. To win in Houston, with all the hype, would be a monster statement win. Imagine if you could bet on this 😆. Allen does have a receiving td in Houston though!
  25. But they get all the calls!!!! 😉
