I feel like Hue should be fired for NOT starting Mayfield from game 1. He clearly did not put his team in the best position to win games.

Mayfield looks great but let's not get crazy. Last night he was fortunate to have his team recover a strip sack fumble. He also hit a Jets DB right in the chest with a pass into the end zone that shoulda been picked off. So Baker could have easily turned the ball over twice which would have derailed the comeback for them. Things won't turn out as rosy in every game. That being said, Baker Mayfield proved that he was easily the #1 QB in the draft.

Can Hue be fired yet? Geez, do something to fire up your team man.

A year or two down the road it might be proven that Beane is the smartest guy in the room for what he’s doing now with this roster. At the moment, however, he is looking the polar opposite of that. I’m certainly willing to give this staff the benefit of the doubt that they will start righting the ship this upcoming offseason. If not, they don’t see the spring of 2020.

It's called trying new things to see if a change can make the team better. I had no problem with it at the time and I liked TT. Peterman flopped. The real question is what did McD see over the summer to make him think the "terrible young white guy" would be much improved in a real regular season road game? Why did he go back to revisit his worst ever coaching move? That decision has really put a stain on McD's 2018 season.

Even though I'm critical of McDermott, I would not fire him after this season. Heck, I have 50 people here convincing me that sucking this bad is all part of the process to be great again. So I would allow him to get the rookie QB some valuable experience this year, fill in the holes this coming offseason with draft picks and all this cap space to sign free agents. I do think the season has spiraled out of control in a bad way though.

Its' easy and lazy for reporters to link Vontae Davis to a "culture thing".. but to me it is and always will be a Vontae Davis issue.

I don't think there will be anything good about this game. The Vikes, imo, are better at most positions than the Ravens. We won't have Peterman wasting our time in this game but I don't foresee Allen doing much. I'm really hoping he can just stay away from Interceptions and of course injury. Well, maybe there is one good thing...I have the Vikings DST in fantasy.

Well, it's right about now I'm wishing Frank Reich was our coach... who know if they would have drafted Allen? But at least Frank could mentor and properly oversee a rookie QB.

Didn't the Sabres do that by signing one of Eichel's college linemates? Anyway, I believe the McBeane mindset is that the defense should be stronger and it's the only unit that will be able to keep them in games this year. The offense is gonna be rough and no matter who they bring in it won't appreciably make the offense better this year.
