Probably 80% of us were expecting Rosen’s name to be announced on that draft night

Is Nate Peteman the worst QB in NFL history?
zow2 replied to bills6969's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah I’m probably thinking of the two times he played against the Bills. Once with Washington we sacked him 10 times. The other when he played for Miami is was the most awful QB performance I’ve ever seen in Orchard Park. -

I think John Beck was really bad. but I’ll always have a soft spot for Nate. Good guy. But sorry man, it’s over. He can’t be allowed to play in another NFL game. Ever. -

Yeah I agree. Really like the dude but he can’t play in any more real NFL football games. Ever. -

Why in God’s name is Peterman throwing while back pedaling?!? Why?? Just step up man. That’s a career ending throw -

Wow what a gift for Houston. That penalty is just too much of a reward. Every week for someone. -

Well at least it gave me hope that JA can complete something downfield. So it didn’t count .. baby steps ! -

Darnold,, Rosen, Mayfield,,, they’re all making and completing throws downfield. Our guy just can’t. I’m very worried about his future. You don’t bench this, come back later on, and it’s suddenly fixed. -

Allen is F-ing embarrassing out there. And receivers show zero energy to help him. -
I’m tired of hearing that Mahomes and Goff have all these amazing weapons. Sure, they have guys. But when pressured, Goff is dropping dimes into the bucket so to speak, sometimes no window at all. Mahomes is running for his life half the time and has been throwing extremely accurately on the run. If Allen doesn’t have the talent to make some kind of plays with his arm, the talent and coach around him won’t get him over the hump.

Nah. He’s either got to learn to swim now, or drown. I can’t think of one recent example of a top 10. QB pick, that once starting was then benched...only then to come back and have a great career. Once they start, ya gotta give them a couple seasons before pulling the plug. Somehow this QB has led the team to two wins. Not sure how but it can’t be overlooked

Not sure how old any of the commenters are here...I kinda’ think the whole “it’s better to lose for draft position” mindset are from the younger set (maybe 30 and under). In my view its better to win, as much as possible. Create a winning culture and never accept losing. I mean if a team is worried about not having a high draft pick QB then buy someone else’s QB when they hit free agency, or make a big trade to move up. Wishing your team to lose is weak. It’s not being a fan.

I posted something similar before the Minnesota game. Some of the answers were interesting and the Bills actually hit on most of them in a memorable upset. So here we go. Looking forward to the game. - Josh Allen's most memorable plays are with his arm, not his legs - JA not hitting dudes in the ankles as he rolls out and throws - JA being decisive and quick with his passes, not timid - JA sacked no more than twice - receivers make 2 catches on contested balls downfield - running game goes for 120+ total yds - offense ball security, no turnovers - defense holds Texans to less than 40% 3rd down conversions - defense bends but doesn’t break. Allows Texans fewer than 20 pts - Bills are + in the turnover ratio - Bills score 20+ points

I said after the opening Boston loss I'd can him if the team doesn't earn 4+ points in the remaining three games of the homestand. Well they earned 4 so I guess I need to give him the road trip to see what happens. I think we can all agree Phil is a good man. He's a solid assistant coach. I just don't think he's head coach material. Botts took a shot with him and it isn't working yet. This team should be better than it is. They need more of a leader and motivator. I'd love to see them turn it around and be wrong. In game 1, he comes on afterwards and says Boston was desperate...yeah I knew that going in how does that sneak up on the Sabres? He should of had them ready. Last night vs. Colorado the leaders in the room say it was a poor couple days of practice and they came out flat. How?? Why? that can't happen.

My personal vow regarding Josh Allen: Who is with me
zow2 replied to Like A Mofo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
JA needs to stop playing timid in the pocket and start slinging it like he can. He's too worried about making the perfect read, perfect pass.. You watch, in about a week or two Chad Kelly will replace Case Keenum and he will not hold back. I'd rather have a gunslinger than a guy that's trying to be mechanical and overthinking everything.. -

zow2 replied to Like A Mofo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm fine with the vow or whatever. Just show me a few highlight reel plays before the end of the season that are from passing. That's all I ask. I don't want his best plays to be running because that's not sustainable or showing NFL QB development. -
I get that none of the big names want to be in Buf. Still kinda shake my head that the team released guys like O'Leary and Rod Streater. Not that our record would we any better, but the team desperately needs some possession receivers on the field. Those guys knew the system and could have contributed more than Robert Foster, Logan Thomas, etc..., Right?!?

Bills @ Houston - White on Blue Jerseys
zow2 replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We rarely win in the white over blue pants but we did once last year. It might have been @ KC when I was sure they’d lose. So all hope is not lost.
